I knocked on Andre's waiting for him to open it but he didn't open it and I didn't hear any sound from the room, so I knocked again and now I hear a door open and close and footsteps coming towards the door and I think he was in the bathroom. He opened the door and stood in front of me with his mouth and eyes wide open.
"What? Am I looking that bad?" I teased him knowing that he is thinking the opposite of it.
" No, you are looking so beautiful and I have never seen you like this before." He is still in shock and surprise seeing me all dolled up.
" Shut up!" I playfully hit his arm entering his room, he is wearing a black shirt and jeans giving him that bad boy look.
" You are looking like a typical bad boy from the movies with your black shirt and all." I laughed at his reaction before sitting on his bed.
" I wanted to look like that to gain the attention of all the girls in the party." He winked at me, making me roll my eyes at him. Men will always be Men.
" Whatever, are you ready to head down? We have to be there to receive the guests." I got up from the bed and waited for Andre to take all his belongings.
" Yes, I am ready. let's go!" He scanned his room to check if he was leaving anything behind.
" Is everyone already at the hall?" I asked about our staff and he nodded, typing away on his phone not paying attention to where he is going or what I am asking. I pinched his arm to gain his attention and that worked because he yelped rubbing his arm making me laugh.
" What the hell! Woman!" He gritted out rubbing his arm where I pinched. I know I am being childish but why is he not paying attention to what I am talking about or asking.
" It serves you right for not paying attention to what I was asking." I huffed, glaring at him.
" I was texting one of the staff to check everything before we went there." He defended himself.
" Still, you would have listened to me." I know I am being petty now but I can't take back what I did.
" You and your hormones are all over the place, Enya." He grumbled out still rubbing his arm. My lower lip started to wobble and tears gathered in my eyes ready to fall out of my eyes.
" Shit! I am sorry Enya, I don't mean to upset you, I am sorry." Andre starts apologizing with guilt written all over his face making my tears fall out because seeing him apologize made me sad. Seriously, my hormones are all over the place, I need to keep them in control.
" No, sniff...its….sniff...okay." I dabbed the tissue near my eyes to not smudge my makeup and sobered up from all the emotions forming in me.
" I seriously don't mean to upset you, Enya, I'm sorry." He apologizes again, making me feel guilty for my crying and for overreacting.
" You don't need to apologize, Andre. I am just overwhelmed with my emotions and I am fine now." I gave him a big smile showing I am not at all upset and that made me release a sigh of relief.
" Let's go then, everything is under control." He informed me before giving me his arm to hold on to which I took thankfully and moved towards the hall. No one is in the reception area except the staff of the hotel and I am guessing everyone is busy getting ready. Andre opened the door and we entered the hall. To my surprise, the hall is decorated like a club, making me gasp in awe. There are disco lights and the fog, lights are dimmed giving a soft glow from the candle-like lights, and couches and tables are scattered for the people to sit. The bar is on the right side in the corner but anyone can point it out.
Our staff is running through the place checking everything in making me proud to be called their employer. I clapped making everyone turn towards me and they all came forward and surrounded me with big grins on their faces.
" Good job, Everyone! I like the view and I am very proud of you guys." I compliment them, receiving thank you's. One of the staff steps forward with a big grin looking at me with adoration, " Thank you, Miss Francis! We just did the job you have assigned to us but the plan and everything is from you so it's because of you that it came out so beautifully." She is going to make my makeup smudge, making me emotional.
Andre came up to me rubbing my arms trying to make me control my emotions but the tears gathered in my eyes. I didn't make them fall and just smiled through it and just nodded at her and thanked her, Andre dispersed them asking them to take their positions and make this event successful.
" I know you are touched by her words Enya and every one of our staff feels the same way for you and you don't need to feel guilty because you haven't been there like before." He consoled me while I tried not to cry and somewhat I controlled myself from shedding tears and ruining my makeup before the party started.
" I am lucky to have all of you with me, Andre!" I leaned my head onto his arm, calming myself. He was with me from the start and he didn't know most of my past but he knew that I suffered a lot. He never asks me the reasons or anything, he just stays with me till I feel better.
" Go and sit somewhere, when guests start arriving I will call you." I am very thankful for him to tell me that because I am already feeling very tired with all the control of my emotions. I took a seat at the bar so I could be hidden in the shadows and just roamed my eyes twirling in the chair.
I was bored sitting doing nothing but just surfing my phone. I texted Jeon long ago but he didn't reply and I don't know what he Is still doing in his room. Today I decided to leave him to his friend because he was with me all the time from day one and I was kinda feeling guilty for making him spend all the time with me.
The doors opened pulling me from my thoughts and I stood up quickly and moved towards the door to greet the first guests of the evening Andre strolled towards them the same time as I. Isabella and Joon Jae are the first ones to come and there was surprise and Awe in their eyes and faces making me smile wide and relax, getting their approval through their faces.
" Welcome Isabella and Joon Jae." I welcomed them with a wide smile. Joon Jae mirrored my smile thanking me but Isabella, she has this fake ass smile on her face and just dragged her fiance further making me roll my eyes at her childish antics.
" Some people still behave like kids even if they are stinking grown adults," Andre grumbled beside me, making me laugh. One by one all the guests started to pour in and we welcomed them with big smiles. They all have the same expressions of Awe and adoration seeing the arrangements. Unfortunately, we have to welcome Ashley and her minions with the same smiles because I don't want to mess up anything because of her. Maybe this is just her cousin's wedding and an event to have fun but to me, it is my work.
" Another stinking grown child," Andre commented beside me, making me lose my control and want to laugh but I just bit inside of my cheek to stop myself from laughing out loud.
" Stop it, Andre! We are in our work mode. No more joking." I said, making him roll his eyes at me and " Let's see when Jeon Enters." Ugh, he is irritating me. I know I am going to forget about our work mode as soon as I spot Jeon and he knows it but still, I have to behave like a boss.
" Whatever!" I made a face at him, making him scowl. He looked behind me with amusement dancing in his eyes, making me turn around to see a very handsome and dashing specimen in a White shirt and blue denim jeans entering, making me suck a breath.
" Holy Fudge!" I exclaimed, making Andre laugh at me. He just patted my arm and left me there with my mouth wide open and hearts in my eyes and drool dripping from my mouth.
" Am I that good-looking which makes you drool?" Jeon teased me, coming towards me and I wiped my supposed drool from my chin making Jeon laugh out loud.
" Ugh, Stop!" I growled, turning around to walk away but he held my hand stopping me in my tracks and came up behind me. His body is barely touching me but I can feel his body heat transfer into mine.
" You are looking so beautiful, Enya." He whispered in my ear and goosebumps covered my exposed arms making me shudder in delight.
" So you are, and we are matching." I pointed out that we are both wearing white and he just chuckled before turning me around to face him. I raised my head and he is so close to me that I can smell his cologne making my mouth water with its familiarity.
" Eyes are on us and spend some time with your friend, okay?" I smiled at him and took steps back to leave a decent gap between us which made him groan.
" Okay, but after that you are mine." He said it with so much intensity which had me clenching my thighs hard. He is going to be the death of me.
" Okay, have fun!" I croaked out still in a daze from his words. He gave me a small smirk and wink before going towards his friends.
" Man child," I muttered under my breath seeing his smirk and he knows the effect he has on me and does things that will make me lose control. I have never felt the way he is making me feel and I am glad that I met him. With a smile, I turned around and went to Andre to check up on the food and drinks.
