"What?" I asked bewildered at his statement with wide eyes. Shock and surprise were evident on my face. He just shrugged coming into the room and stood opposite me.
" I have never seen Isabella's this side, she was always an empathetic and kind woman with whom I had fallen in love but the woman who was talking so nasty last night about a woman is not the Isabella I loved." I am feeling bad for him because he was supposed to be marrying his love but he can't now. I felt somewhat guilty about it.
" I am so sorry, Joon Jae!" I apologized but he cut me off with a "No, it's not your fault and doesn't apologize for her." I gave him a small smile, he mirrored my smile and left saying he will meet us back home.
" He is a nice guy." I sighed, I just hope he gets the girl who deserves him.
" Yes, he is a nice and cool guy and he fought with his parents to get married to Isabella. They were against it, that's why they didn't come." Jeon informed me, making my eyes well up with tears. He really loved her but she comes off as a bitch.
" I am happy that he is not with her anymore. People with that mentality are so dangerous." Maybe she stood up for her Cousin and did what she thought was right but they all crossed the line and it's not right to attack someone so brutally in front of everyone.
" I am happy too, Ah! Joon Jae said he will transfer the money to you."
" What money?"
" Payment as in for planning his wedding!" Jeon is amused by my confusion.
" But the wedding didn't happen, how can he pay us?" I can't take money from him because we didn't successfully complete his wedding but I need to pay for my staff and the hotel and other things. I am in such a dilemma that I can't take his money, he is freshly heartbroken.
" He insisted that you take the payment, Enya! He knows that you have to pay everyone." He is empathetic and considerate.
" Okay, I will tell Andre to talk to him. I feel so tired and hungry." I pouted at him batting my eyelashes.
" What do you want to eat?" He asked, retrieving his phone from his pocket. Ugh, I can't wait to get out of the hospital and I want to go home.
" No, Why can't we eat somewhere out there? I want to go home too," I have the same pout and still batting my eyelashes at him so he can melt and accept my request.
" No need to pout and do all the funny things with your face, Enya, I will take you out to eat and WE will go home after." He pressed hard on the We making butterflies make havoc in my tummy and my heart to flutter.
" Okay, then I will change and call you." I started getting up from the bed, looked at him, and waited for him to go out but he was just sitting on the chair looking at me.
I raised my eyebrows asking him what he is still doing inside but he just rolled his eyes and said,'' it's not like I haven't seen anything Enya." Which made me blush furiously and I tried to hide my face with my hair but he just removed my hair from the face and titled my chin up moving towards me with hooded eyes and kissed me softly and tenderly that I sighed into his mouth.
" Umm, Jeon?" I heard Andre's voice and awkward laugh making us back out from each other. I hide my face again not looking at Andre who is definitely smirking and cooking up everything in his head to share with Siya and tease me with her about it.
Jeon cleared his throat and answered, " Yes, Andre?"
" You have filled the submission form right? Then you have to sign discharge papers." Andre informed Jeon and left, giving a smile at me. I thought of begging Jeon to not leave me with the devil but he needs to sign the papers to go home. I groaned internally before raising my head and looking at him. He has a smirk on his lips which annoyed me.
" What? Have you never seen two people kissing?" I gritted out and his smirk grew wide at my outburst.
" I have but I have never seen you kiss someone, Enya!" He laughed out loud at my glaring face before sitting in front of me.
" Shut up! Andre!" I glared at him, making him roll his eyes and a genuine smile tugged on his lips and a sigh left his mouth.
" So? How is it going? Are you really okay?" He asked, there is a concern and worry evident in his voice, making my eyes soft and my heart calm looking at my best friend who feels like a big brother to me which I never had.
" I am okay Andre and I have You, Jeon, and Siya with me so don't worry, okay?" He patted my hand with a big smile and we discussed the payment Joon Jae wants to pay and he will go back to the hotel and settle everything and come back to L.A.
" Okay, then I will get going. See you at L.A." he waved me leaving the room, I am alone for the first time since I gained consciousness. Everything which happened last night wanted to come out but I blocked out everything and focused on thinking about positive things.
My thoughts were interrupted by Jeon who entered the room. Suddenly his arms were around me, giving his warmth to my cold body. I didn't know I was shaking until he holds me in his arms and started rubbing my arms and kissing my head to calm down.
" Shh, baby! I have got you and I will always be by your side so you don't need to fight on your own." His words were like a sweet melody to my mad head which was filled with all the thoughts and scenarios which are making me think rationally.
" Please don't leave me, Jeon, please!" My voice came out in a whisper but he heard me and his arms tightened around me. My biggest fear right now is losing him and I can't even think about it. I don't know what I will do if he ever thinks that he can't take anymore and leaves me! And I don't want to go there, I just live in the present welcoming his warmth and feeling like everything is alright and will be alright.
" I will never leave you baby, promise and I always stand by promises." He kissed my head once again, tightening his arms around me engulfing me with his warmth and scent.
" So, where do you want to go?" He asked, I came out of the bathroom changing into the clothes Jeon gave me which are my clothes.
" Umm, why don't we go to the Noodles shop?" I asked, waiting for his answer. I want to go there and meet the old sweet couple and I am sure I will feel so much better in their presence.
" Okay, let's go." He stood up from his chair and guided me out to the parking lot. We said goodbye to the doctor and the nurses on our way.
" Why don't we take our bags from the hotel and go to the noodle shop? The diner is on our way to L.A right?" I took my seat in the passenger seat, clicking my seat belt in place turning towards Jeon for his answer.
" Andre has already brought us over bags and they are in the trunk of my car so don't worry about it and the diner yes it is on our way home." I squealed happily, clapping my hands like a seal, making Jeon laugh.
"Someone is so cheerful!" Jeon was amused at my happy face and a big grin.
" Yes, finally we are going home and I am waiting for the soupy spicy noodles." I licked my lips imagining the taste of the soupy noodles.
" Hold on, baby! we will be there in no time." Jeon increased the speed, making me laugh like a child. We were both laughing so wholeheartedly that I want to stop this moment and live in it as long as I want to. He looks so carefree and handsome laughing with me. True happiness is shining through his eyes and I am sure my eyes are also the same as his. He is a blessing in my life and I will never lose him for anything.
