" Hope I haven't made you wait so long dear," Rosie said, coming towards us with our noodle bowls. Jeon stood up and took the bowls from her tray and put it in front of us.
" Please Enjoy dear, I will come back once you finish." She smiled at us and left.
The smell which I am getting from the deliciousness in front of me is so good that I dived into my bowl and started slurping the noodles and soup. The spiciness is medium and I can feel every flavor on my tongue.
" This is so good." Jeon moaned slurping from his bowl which made me laugh because I have never seen him stuff his face like this.
" What?" He asked, wiping his mouth.
" Nothing, you are just cute."  I pinched his cheek which made his face and ear red as he blushed.
" Aww, someone is blushing!" I stated, laughing at him. We went back to eating in silence enjoying our food. The surroundings are making me calm and relaxed and I am really grateful that Jeon brought me here. If not I would have been restless thinking about everything. Now, I can somewhat feel positive.
We cleared our bowls and milkshakes and just sat down enjoying everything around us. I and Jeon are finally going home and we will get to spend time together without fearing if someone sees us.
" Umm, How many days will you stay in L.A?" I asked, nervously fidgeting with my fingers. I don't want him to leave me but I understand that he has to be in his country. He is a celebrity and he will have lots of work to be done and I just can't make him stay here with me forever.
" When I came to L.A, I hadn't planned for a long time and it was for just a week and now things changed, so my plan on staying till my concert which will be soon.
" Oh! Okay, soon means? When?" I asked, wanting to know a particular time so I can prepare myself so I can't get hurt and miss him so damn much.
" I don't know the particular day or date Baby, I just know that it will be soon and my manager will inform me about it a week before it." He took my hand in his and started caressing it making me feel less anxious.
" Till then you will stay at my place, right?" A smile adorned his face at my question making him look more beautiful.
" Do you want me to?" He questioned me waiting curiously for my answer and without hesitation, I answered, "Of course, you are staying with me." I playfully glared at him, making him laugh and he kissed my hand.
We heard someone clear their throat beside us making us look at them and there stood Rosie and Henry looking at us with Awe and adoration in their eyes. Rosie has a big smile on her face looking at us as a proud mama bear.
" Sorry to disturb you two love birds," Henry said, patting Jeon's Shoulder and giving me a big smile and nod.
" It's okay, we were waiting for you guys," I said, getting up from my chair and standing beside Rosie.
" Why don't we take a walk, Enya dear?" I nodded at Rosie before saying goodbyes to Henry and Jeon. There was a bench at the end of the garden and we strolled towards it and sat down. We didn't talk about anything for a minute, we just sat there looking at Henry and Jeon who were talking and laughing. A small smile crept up to my face looking at his laughing face.
" You love him! Don't you?" My head snapped towards Rosie who has this knowing smile on her face making me blush and I nod at her.
" Yes, I love him." Saying it for the first time and accepting it makes me feel so good. I don't know if I will confess this to Jeon or not but acknowledging it in front of someone feels relieved and I don't have to have that nagging feeling of not acknowledging my feelings and emotions.
"I can see it in your faces Dear and I hope you both confess your feelings to each other, so you can enjoy the beauty of Love." I know what she is saying is right but how can I be sure that Jeon loves me too, yes, I have seen it in his eyes but sometimes eyes can betray you.
" I am afraid that what if he doesn't feel the same for me! If he doesn't love me after I confess my love to him then I will be broken to the core and I don't want to jeopardize what we have now." I gave words to my fears which took their home in my head and heart making me overwhelmed with them.
" What you are saying is right dear but maybe he is also having the same thoughts as you and if no one moves forward then you will both miss out on something so beautiful." Yes, we will forever remain to co-parent our baby and nothing more if we don't confess our feelings.
" You are right, Rosie and I will think about it and talk to Jeon once we reach home," I said with a smile.
" So, how are you doing dear! I feel like you have been through something." She is asking about the way I cried when I saw her. She felt that something was wrong.
" The wedding which I was planning got canceled today and yesterday was the bachelorette party and I was called names and disrespected by the bride and her cousin……" I started telling her everything not missing anything with tears in my eyes and I told her how I lost consciousness and rushed to the hospital and how the doctors informed me about the missed miscarriage and how Jeon stood up for me and everything.
By the time I am done telling her, she has tears running down her cheeks and she just took me in her arms. " I'm so sorry dear that you have to go through something so horrible." She rubbed circles on my back, cooing soothing words in my ear. I just wept in her arms like a child weeping in her mother's arms.
My mother never hugged me like this, she never fulfilled her motherly duties. My sister and I were brought up and looked after by our nannies. My parents were both so busy in their rich lives throwing parties, going on vacations, and dealing with their problems that they never had time for their children and I missed the parent's love and their warmth.
" Thank you so much, Rosie! I have never felt the warmth and love of a mother but with you, I feel those things." She has a smile and tears in her eyes listening to me and she kissed my head and just hugged me again cocooning me in her warmth.
Jeon and Henry started coming towards us and we wiped our tears and stood up. Jeon's face turned into a concerned one seeing my red and puffy eyes and questioned me with his eyes if I was okay and I just nodded at him with a smile. We can read each other's expressions without needing to listen to words.
" Enya! Are you ready? We have to reach L. A. before the evening." Jeon asked and I nodded at him before turning towards Rosie and hugging her one last time feeling her love and care for me through the hug.
" Thank you so much, Rosie and I am very happy that I met you." She kissed my cheek with a big smile on her face.
" I'm happy too, dear! Please visit us wherever you guys miss us and our noodles." I molded at her turned towards Henry and hugged him and said goodbye to him.
" Rosie has baked some cookies and muffins for you, dear. I will bring them for you." He went back to the kitchen to get the cookies and muffins and we followed him to the front of the kitchen. He handed us a big paper bag from which I can smell the baked goodies.
" Thank you so much for everything." We hugged them both one last time before saying our goodbyes. Rosie and I cried hugging each other and Jeon assured me that he will take me here whenever I want to come.
" Don't cry, baby. I promise you that I will bring you here whenever you miss Rosie or noodles." He kissed me before opening the car door and making me comfortable in the seat.
We took off from there and I waved at Rosie and Henry till they disappeared from my vision. Visiting them gave me so much positive energy and charged me up.
