"Wow..."
Siren almost dripped her saliva when she saw the delicious food served in the table.
There are lots of different dishes both meats and seafoods.
"Keep your mouth a distance. Your saliva will fall on the food." Jeff said, seeing her reaction with their little feast.
The housekeeper cooked all the food that she asked her earlier. It's for Harry's recovery and a housewarming feast too.
"Wow ... This is so much for the three of us!" Harry's eyes was full of amusement.
The cold expression on Jeff's face turns into a smirk. Who would have thought that in his thirty-two years of existence, he'll be having a moment like this with these two childish people in front of him?
Siren, after being sick, was now getting her weight back. She looks more vibrant and energetic more than the first time he had seen her.
She grab the chopsticks on the side. "This food really looks delicious." Then she started eating.
Harry and Jeff start serving themselves too.   And their young lady boss was right. The food is really good.
"I can't believe you can eat like a man." Jeff commented as she put another spoonful of rice on her plate.
"Actually this is my very first time eating like this." She said.
"Why? Do they make you hungry at home?"
"No." She wiped her lips with a tissue. "When Mom and Dad got their divorce, I always left eating alone. When Dad got married again, I barely eat with them. Olivia's sons are all grown-up and they are able to serve themselves so I was eating separately since I was still young then."
Her voice softens as she remember that certain part of her childhood.
"Your life isn't too different from the people I've known having the same family as you. But they are well enough."
"Maybe." She said.
"Then what's the reason you run away and hide?" For Jeff, it's a question he wants to ask long ago.
"I just want to try living my life like a normal person."
"I thought that the lady who sent us to jail the last time was just kidding when she said that you are a maid." Harry said.
"If I came too late that time, I'm sure you two will get to be imprisoned without a proper investigation."
"But still you came. So no worries." She smiles sheepishly. "This is a small celebration too for the three of us."
"Why?" Jeff furrowed his brows.
"Because we are together now. Harry, as my brainless assistant..." Harry swallowed hard as she addressed him. She put some shrimps on his plate. "But very caring and obedient." She smiled at him.  "And for you, Mr. Jeff Carlton A.K.A Jeffrey Court..." She put some grilled meat on his plate. "As my very arrogant and cold-hearted bodyguard."
Harry fill their glasses with water. Jeff still had that smirk on his face.
"You two really are not the best..." She said while taking food bites. "But you two were like brothers for me."
The two guys put grilled meat on her plate as their response.
"You're too dramatic." Jeff said.
"Why don't we give a toast to that?" Harry offers a toast for them.
"Cheers for my two brothers!"
"Cheers!"

After some argument between Siren and Jeff, the latter finally gave in to her request of moving him at Harry's new place.
Almost ten o'clock, they part their ways. Halfway to her place, the elevator opened and for the second time, she saw Todd's face again.
His hands were on his pockets and he was wearing a casual beige sweatshirt and khaki pants.
He was smiling as he stares at her while entering.
When the elevator closed, Siren feels like the place becomes a bit tiny than earlier. She feels so suffocated.
"I want to apologize for being rude the last time." His manly voice filled her ears. But she dared not to say anything.
"The truth is, I've really tried to look for you. But I only have small chances since I only know your name." He continued. "And didn't thought that of all places, I will find you here."
"I bet I'm not the one you been looking for." She answered after sometime.
"I'm sure it was you. Unless you have a twin sister that smells, and sounds like you, I'll believe you then."
Too bad, although she was denying that she was Reena, she can't just tell him that she didn't have a twin.
"So what's the difference if I will admit that it was really me? What will you do?" She raised her brow.
"Well, at least you won't be denying it hard."
In her surprised, Todd, simply pulled her enough to sway her around. In just split seconds, he was already kissing her.
She quickly pushed him hard as the elevator reached the penthouse floor.
But he was strong that made impossible for her to escape. He carried her out a few steps then pinned her on the wall.
"If you--"
She was silenced by his lips locking hers. But no way she would allowed him. She bit him hard until she tastes blood but he never stop from what he's doing.
The last thing she had in mind was giving him a knee strike on his friend down there.
But before she could do that, he already quit kissing her.
He look her in the eyes. He was smiling even there is blood on the corner of his lips.
"Some other time, I'll teach you a proper way of kissing." He pinched her nose.
"The next time you'll do that, you better prepare a coffin!" She glared at him fiercely.
She pushed him hard and when he swayed, she quickly run to her door.
Todd can only look at her while grinning.

"Where you've been?" Chad was sitting on the couch when he returns.
"Penthouse." He sat on the couch Infront of him.
"Penthouse?"
"Yeah." He grabbed the canned beer on the table. "Why are you here anyway?"
"Oh. It's about the restaurant that you want to buy last month."
"Uh-huh?"
"The owner wants to sell it now. With a lower price."
Todd's face become emotionless. It was the restaurant he wants to buy because of its location. He was pursuing it when he learned that the owner was struggling financially. But when they started approaching them, they turn down the offer.
"What do you think?" He glanced at Chad's face.
"Let's wait until they sank at their lowest price. We are offering a pretty sum before. We should make them desperate now since they took us for granted."
Todd smirked. That was a rude move but it's also interesting. He still remember how the owner boastfully say that they don't need their money before. And Chad was right. Sometimes it's quite fun if you will see how your opponent desperately wants to regain their loss and that's when you gonna kick them hard and see them fall.
"Is there any offers for them around?"
Chad shook his head. "I don't think so."
"We will see then." He gulped the can's content.
"What did you upstairs?" Chad changing the topic. "Don't tell me you have plans to buy unit upstairs?"
Todd's lips curved into a smile when the face of a woman flashed in his mind.
"Penthouse is the most expensive unit here. Why would I waste my money just to live at the roof?"
"Then why?" Chad was not convinced.
"Remember Reena?"
"Reena? Reena who?" Chad furrowed his brows.
"The woman we met at the beach."
For a couple of seconds, Chad's seems to travel his mind back in time.
"Oh, the woman who speaks Spanish?"
"Yeah." He nodded.
“Does she live in the penthouse?"
"I asked the management right after we met at the elevator the other day. They say that there is only one person living at the top floor so I guess she was living there."
"Woah..." Chad's face was in fully disbelief. "Is she rich? Or she was just a housekeeper there?"
Hearing the last word that his brother said, Todd fell into thinking the same thing.

The next day, Siren woke up a little later than her usual days.
With her eyes half open and a grumbling stomach, she was forced to get up.
"Good morning." Lily, the housekeeper greets her. Lily is in her mid-twenties but she looks much older than her age. But other than that, her work is superb.
"Morning." She said while yawning. She walked into the kitchen and go straight to the fridge. She was hungry. She still remember how she ate so much last night but her stomach seems to dissolved all of it and now she's so hungry.
After scanning all the ready to eat food and the leftovers, she was about to closed the fridge again. But there, she saw a glimpse of red cherries and luscious red strawberries in a transparent containers.
She was not fond of strawberries before. It's because she hated the taste of sweet and sour taste of the fruit. But when she saw them, she almost drool just by looking at it.
She immediately took them out of the fridge and put them on a strainer. She washed them carefully.
"Do you want anything?" Lily asked when she saw what she's doing.
"No I'm fine." She answered.
After washing them, she dried the strawberries with a paper towel and put them in a bowl.
She walked to the living room and sat on the couch.
She started eating them and she was surprised that they actually taste so sweet. Not long after, she had finished eating them all. But when she decided to get up, she felt that there's a little wave occurs inside her. Causing her to fell into the couch again.
She sat still for a few seconds. But when she got up again, the feeling of a sudden water outburst from her stomach envelopes and made her run to her room. She quickly run to the bathroom.
Just when she reach the sink, she starts vomiting. The mixture of red strawberry chunks and her saliva was all over the sink surface.
After a few moments of extracting her stomach, she helplessly fell into the bathroom floor. She could feel her muscles and joints weaken and there's a sweat droplets on her forehead too.
After a while, she tried to get up again to wash her hands.
But when she smelled the familiar scent of her hand soap, her  head starts to feel like spinning and the feeling of the small wave inside her happen again and with that she starts to vomit the second time.
When she's done, she was already weak and sweaty.
"What was that?" She helplessly ask as if someone will answer her.
