By just hearing the name he mention, it makes him realize what had happen last night.
He frowned at the thought of the woman he kissed. He grabbed the man on his shoulders.
"Where is she?"
"You mean Miss Siren?" He was stunned with his actions.
"Where is she? I need to see her!"
"She said, you need to leave by the time you wake up. She doesn't want to tell you where she is now."
The man's voice was stern though he looks terrified.
"Tell her I need to talk to her." His voice softens. He knew that if he would act like a madman, there will be no any chance that Siren will face her.
"I'm sorry to tell you, but she said she was busy and can't make any time to meet you."
Obviously, he was just lying. But Conrad can't keep himself insisting what he wants. It's obvious that the woman didn't want to see him again. And if he would push things harder,  she may get mad at him for the rest of her life.
With a storm inside his mind, he strode out.

Siren was listening carefully to Harry on the other line.
Conrad was asking to meet her before he left. But no way she let that to happen.
"If he happens to come back there, avoid him as much as possible. It won't be good for the him and I to face each other again. You understand?"
"Yes. I will."
When she cut the call, she leaned her head on the backrest frustratingly. Reminding herself that what she did was right. It was for the good after all.
She heaved a sigh and closed her eyes.

The continues sound of the doorbell ringing wakes her up. She didn't realized that she already fell asleep on the couch earlier.
Lazily, she tried to ignore the person who keeps on pressing that damn doorbell button. But it doesn't stop. That person seems to be aiming for her to come out.
With a heavy steps, she strode towards the door. She looked at the screen to see who it was.
It's Todd.
She frowned. What is he doing here again?
"What do you want?" She asked as she opened the door.
"Time to check for the lazy momma." He smiled. But it didn't affect her annoyance.
"Can you please come again later? I'm actually taking my nap."
"No napping for now. I want to make food for you so I came here." He said. He actually wipe her aside to make way for himself.
"I'm not hungry."
"Maybe not you. But what about the baby?"
She followed him as soon as she closed the door. He made his way to the kitchen.
As if on cue, Lily got out from the laundry area.
"Good morning." She greets them with a confused smile.
"Is she your housekeeper?" Todd asked.
"It's rude to asked that way. Why don't you asked her name or introduce yourself first?" Though Siren was surrounded by house helpers all her life, she still find it rude if someone will asked a person that way.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't thought that you are quite sensitive about that."
She rolled her eyes.
"I'm sorry I didn't get to open the door. I was busy earlier so I--"
"No it's okay. I just know that if you are the one to open it, Siren will absolutely won't let me in." Todd cut her sentence off.
"You got it." Siren sneered. "You can go back now. Don't mind this..." She took a quick glance on Todd.
"'This' what?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Nothing." She walked back to the living area.
She didn't have the mood to talk to him. The way he talk was so annoying that she wants to rip his mouth sometimes.
Good thing that he didn't bother to follow her. And true to his words, he really do cook for her.
The smell of the roasted onion invade her nostrils that it gives her a quick headache. And from there, she felt like there's a little wave in her stomach again. She quickly run to her bedroom. Straight to the bathroom, she throw up again and again until her knees weaken.
She growl in annoyance.
"Hey, are you okay?"
She didn't realized that Todd followed her. He quickly lift her upon seeing she can't stand straight. He put her down on the bed.
"Stop roasting those onions, please."
With that, Todd understands that she was sensitive of smells. He did not expect that she would experience a delicate pregnancy.
"Okay. I'll stop it." He fixed her pillows so that she can lay her back on it. "Do you want to eat anything?"
"Strawberry milkshake." She smiled sheepishly.
"I'll do it okay? Just stay here." She nods her head before he leaves.
After a couple of minutes, He came back with a tall glass in his hand. It was filled with pink mixture.
Siren immediately sat up and then reached for his hand. She aggressively took a sip on it.
"Is it good?" Todd asked.
"Very very good!" She smiled with satisfaction.
He was about to say something when someone knocked on the door.
"Miss Siren?" It was Harry's voice.
Todd gave her a confused look.
"It's Harry, my assistant."
Todd couldn't believe in what she says. Assistant? Did she really have an assistant?
"Come in."
Upon hearing her voice, the door opens. With a startled look, Harry's eyes look at them. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you." He said after clearing his throat.
"No, it's okay." Todd quickly answered. He stood straight and put his hands on his pockets.
"Miss Siren, Mr. Wines wants to have lunch with you. He already have a reservation In a restaurant near his office."
Siren twitched her lips. But before she could say anything, Todd got a chance speak first.
"I didn't know you are seeing someone already." He has that smug look on his face while looking at her.
"Why? Am I not allowed to see anybody now?"
Siren was already used to being misunderstood every time. Though she didn't mind it at all, she was still getting stressed when a person is talking to her like she was always doing something wrong.
"At least you should have told me." He fired back. "I'm still your child's father after all."
Harry knows everything, but he could still look at them like there is another head growing on their neck.
"Tell him, I'll meet him up later." She pointed Harry after heaving a sigh.
"Okay." He turned around and leave.
"You're not going anywhere." Todd suddenly said.
"And why?" She furrowed her brows.
"You're a pregnant woman now. And you still think about dating another guy?"
"Felix is not just another. He's my stepbrother."
Hearing what she said, Todd become speechless. Stepbrother?
So what? Stepbrother is different from a blood brother. They are still not connected with blood and he's still a man!
"I'm telling you, you are not going."
Siren, who was about to got off from bed got irritated with what he said.  "Wait, what?"
"He's still a man. And I don't want to--"
"I wish you could realize that you don't have any right to tell me things that I should do and not. You are just my child's father but don't mean anything to me. And if you don't like my way, the door is open and you are free to leave." She really meant what she said and she didn't give a shit if it will hurt his ego or not.
"You really want it this way? Don't you think that I can actually do that?" Todd smirks. But to Siren, she knew that he's only threatening her.
As if!
"Get. Lost." She got off from bed and go straight to the bathroom. Slamming the door hard.
