[Samantha] The pressure was off my lungs when Gregory wasn't close. I still can vividly recall him being too near that he could've give my cheek a kiss when he helped turn the dishwasher off when I was washing the plates. A smile tugged my lips when I remember the scenario. I think I'm going insane. I might have read a lot of classical literature that my body settled for the feeling of giddiness because of what he did. I rustled through my bag and inspect my things. “I need to buy another compact powder.” I said to myself as I check my things. “You want to go shopping??” Gregory intervened. He popped out of nowhere again. I was sitting in the living room while he was still inside the room a while ago and now he's here. I pursed my lips before I stared at him. “You're wearing a suit. I assume you'll go to work.” I uttered. “And you're going to buy something.” He answered knowingly. I smiled before I slowly brought myself to nod my head at his statement. I opened my compact powder and showed its remains. "I really have to buy before this one runs out of powder.” I shared it casually. Our conversation—I couldn't helped but be amaze on how this are going so far. It's too easy to connect with him and be engaged in sharing details. I wonder why? He loosened his tie a bit before he gauge me with his gaze. “Then, I'll go with you.” He assisted another way for having himself as a company. I cannot helped but raise my eyebrow at him. This is unbelievable. I let out a small whiff of exhale out of my mouth. “Greg, you're supposed to head for work.” It's his turn now to smile. He flashed me with a beam of his expression. He really looked happy. Gtegory stared at her with an eagerness in his face. “I can be with you. I'll—I'll accompany you.” With a bunch of sprawling shopping malls, it's hard to find some of the leading spots in the city. From the magnificent indoor shopping center down to the futuristic styled one. One can always proceed with an own shopping adventure—sightseeing. I straightened my hair as I smothered it down with my fingers. “Indulging to something like doing shopping is always been my favorite.” I talked while Gregory was driving his car. “When I don't want to be with my parents when they call me to have dinner with them, this is my form of escape.” I straight up told him. He smiled and I let myself talk some more. Because Gregory—he is listening. “It steers me from the past. Sometimes—I fake my diarrhea. Actually, it's one of those pleasant excuse that makes their blood boil.” I laughed when I remember a memory associated to what I said. From the corner of my eye, I saw Gregory smiled. I can't help but let the smile out of me from seeing him do it. I let my mind to go back to what we did this morning. Ggegory prepared a hearty breakfast. This time around we talked. We talked about anything that we wanted to share. This morning we challenged ourselves. We challenged ourselves to talk about the first memory we love from our childhood. When he talked about his favorite core memory—I had the chance to learn more about him. I was able to picture glimpses of what young Gregory was like. “Where are we heading, Ma'am?” He asked with a cheery tone. It made me laughed. “And now you're acting like you're a cab driver.” I smiled at him before I moved my lip to add a reply to answer what he ask me. “Let's go to the Atrium Center.” 200 shops inside filled with eateries, desserts spots, galleries. The center is a nice place to have a break and have a delicious snack. It definitely satisfies my retail therapy. “Whenever I am tired from the hustle and bustle of my everyday routine, when it's too much to handle, I go here.” I chirped. Gregory maneuvered the car as we went spiraling up towards the third floor. I can't help but be in awe, because he was a skilled one. He did it with ease. And I just couldn't just watch the moment pass. I took my phone out and took a video of what he is doing. He laughed because of it and I was able to capture his wonderful happy smile that I am starting to love on camera. I giggled as I continue to take the video. We're on the second floor and it'll take a few more minutes to reach the third one. “I'll be keeping this one.” I finished the video clicking the button to end it. “This is the evidence of you having an amazing driving skill. I'll show this to people who won't believe what I have to say.” His smile was wide and I felt the need of wanting to breathe for air. I see him watching me, eyebrows raised. I let my compliment slide warmly that it made his entire face smile. I liked seeing him happy. “Smiling suits you a lot, Greg.” I said enthusiastically. He guided me as he with his hand on my back but his hand didn't touch my skin as he did it. We walked away from the parking lot and entered the mall. I glance at him, he looked back with a relaxed expression. “Greg, I am not taking you away from your important businesses right?” I asked out all of the sudden because I feel guilty. He shook his head at me. He offered me his hand and I willingly hold it. Ggegory intertwined our fingers. "It's me who's intervening your own time because of my want to really spend another day with you by my side.” I craned my neck to the side to have a better access of his entire face."Then, let's try to have fun and make the best of this situation.” His grip tightened for a bit, gripping my hands firmly. “Don't forget to take a pic of your shopping haul, Sam. We want to have records from your side too.” He replied.
