They were standing at the entrance when the door was closed. Samantha retracted, she removed the hands that clung on Gregory’s neck. Gregory put her down, slowly. Her eyes were moving. She did not look at him. She doesn’t want to look. She was feeling shy out of all a sudden. Why does she put her arms around her neck? She wasn’t supposed to do that. Her mind is that tired. That’s the reason. 
She was still moving her gaze when Gregory reached for her hand. He then pulled her towards him again. Samantha let him pull her but she wasn’t looking at his eyes. But Gregory’s gaze were staring at her with intent. His fingers when to her chin, lifting it up which forced Samantha to level her gaze with his this time around. 
His face moved an inch closer while Samantha stilled. “I am staying here, Sam. I’ll be with you.” He said in a whisper. 
Samantha moved her head in a nod. “Yes.” She uttered in a breathless voice. She was preventing herself to breathe. It was hard for her to do it now that their faces were close to each other. Something enigmatic passed to Gregory’s eyes. She saw a different spark that passed through his lens.
It was a distinct one. She ignored the nudge that poke her. She tried to articulate her thoughts but nothing seemed to come in her mind. She just wanted to go to her bed and let her body enjoy the softness of the mattress. 
“I-I have a shirt that I can lend you.” She thought of wanting to lend him her boxers. It made her blushed. It wouldn’t fit him. 
Gregory held her cheek with both of his hands. His fingers graze on the sides. He was staring at her. This time he was too close. “Your cheeks went crimson. What are you thinking, huh?” He asked. 
Samantha made a gentle push. She pushed him awat, in his shoulders. She pushed him lightly. “You want to take a shower before you to bed?” She threw a question instead of answering him. 
Gregory’s eyes were burried deeply. He was too fixed in his gaze towards her. Before he suddenly moved his head and started nodding. He suddenly smiled at her. “Don’t you want to go with me?” He asked Sam in a teasing manner with a hint of mischief in his gaze. 
Samantha was shocked with the sudden vulgarity of his words. It was hard for her to acquiant herself with the changes he showed in his personality. Flashes of obscene thoughts came in her mind that made all the hairs in her nape stood up. SHe slowly backed away. 
“I’m sleepy. You can take a shower while I find you some clothes that I can lend to you tonight.” She moved and went to her closet. She opened it, letting her eyes wander around. She felt him moved. He stood before he went closer to her. She suddenly eyed the big baggy pajamas she bought. 
It was the one she bought in pair. She was supposed to give it to David. She suddenly felt the sourness down her throat. She let herself feel her heart to check whether she feel it sank but she didn’t. Does she already moved on? She shrugged the thought. She got the pajamas and turned back. Gregory was already in front of him making her breath hitched. 
Her heart suddenly went into frenzy. She stilled frozen in her place. Gregory was grinning. “Is that for me?” His mouth suddenly form a smile. 
She was fast to nod her head and gave him the pajamas in a speed of light. Gregory suddenly chuckled before he checked the bears that were printed to the fabric. 
“A blue one.” He asked. His eyes went to the other clothes she absentmindedly grab in her hand. “And that one.” His forefinger went to point it which made Samantha followed through. “You will wear it?” He asked her. 
Her throat suddenly felt itchy so she made a coughing sound. She stared at him. “No.” She moved her head. “No, I will not wear this.” She answered. 
Gregory smiled. His eyes went to do a sudden scanning. “Well- your robe does look good on you.” He commented. 
Samantha’s beguiled eyes went to realize something as it went big. She gasp before she went to check herself. Her eyes went bigger. Right! She was wearing a silk robe. Her eyes went to him and she glared at Gregory. He was teasing her. And he looked like he really finds it amusing. She covered herself while the clothing suddenly hit her. She pouted. Her lips puckered because of her clumsiness. 
Gregory took a step and Samantha felt on alert. She took a step back. “What-what will you do?” She stammered as she keep on walking backwards until her back hit the dresser. She was looking at her but her face were puzzled. 
Gregory chuckled before his arm snake around her waist pulling her towards him. He was still chuckling when his hand flicked her forehead. “Change and go to bed, Sam. You need to rest.” His fingers went to traced her eyes. “You’re tired.” He said. 
Samantha couldn’t ignore his strong influence towards her. She simply stared. While she looked at his face she suddenly feel that she just wanted to stay awake, to look at his face. Her drowsiness vanished. She doesn’t feel the need to doze off. When she still hasn’t uttered her reply to Gregory. He moved his head and planted a kiss on the top of her head before his mouth moved towards her cheek, kissing it softly. 
“I’ll wash myself up and be back in a minute.” He stated. He eyed her with his careful gaze before he went to the bathroom. 
Samantha watched as he walked inside before she went to her bed. She was sitting on the edge. Her eyes then went to the window. When she glanced she saw the rain drops were falling down the window ledge. It was raining outside. She went to the left side of the bed and took a sit. Her eyes went back to the bathroom door where Gregory was inside. She shook her head. It was such an unethical thing if she will entertain the unnecessary thoughts that is starting to creep in. She can hear the drops from the shower. 
She went to lay herself down the bed and cover herself with the blanket. She still couldn’t avoid his presence. The two of them will still sleep together. This time they will be sleeping in her own bed. She felt the need to shriek because of it. She closed her eyes and covered herself with the blanket, concealing the idea of wanting to make a sound…
