Samantha rested her back on the recliner. Her fingers went to massaged the bridge of her nose, gently. She closed her eyes still slowly moving her fingers on her nose bridge. They were not entitled to caused her pain anymore. She's been trying to remove her our of her mind. A total erasure of their existence will benefit her greatly. But it's impossible... She proved them that they were wrong anyway. She managed to her vindication into a positive one. Her venture was a success. She had the flower cafe — she's the owner. It's under her name. The place did her the justice—a testimony of how her plan happened. Samantha slowly opened her eyes. Her gaze went towards the glass door, checking what's outside. She moved when she saw one of her beloved customer at this time around. She got out of her office. The evenness of her mind settled the disordered thoughts she had earlier. She smiled when her gaze met the eyes of the woman who was smiling at Samantha. “How are you, Laura?” Samantha asked cheerfully. She called for the helper to prepare them one of Laura's usual order. A cup of creme coffee and slice of a blueberry cheesecake. She told her helper to prepare two portions of it. Samantha and the woman sat on the spot next to the glass window. The woman smiled at her. Her eyes wandered around the cafe. “This is the type of cafe that offers such romantic vibes you know.” She told Samantha. This made Samantha smiled in return. “I supposed it's maybe for the reason that the owner is such a fan of romances afterall.” She replied. The woman slowly moved her head in a nod. “There are lot of flower cafes in the metro area but this one will give one such an extra magical and romantic coffee experience. Definitely worth the visit every time.” Samantha couldn't help but to agree. Everything was her concept, her idea. The cafe is a pretty spacious one. It was literally her plan to also sell delicious slices of cakes, some savory meals, and coffees. She stared at the woman. “The flower bouquet as been arranged this morning.” She uttered. Laura wiped her lips with the tissue. She was nodding her head. “Thank you, Sam. It's free therapy.” She chuckled after she said her words. “I like buying myself flowers. It's a gift for all the stresses I encounter everyday.” Samantha smiled for a bit. Laura's bought flowers for herself it's for the reason that her husband... Her husband were on of the stressors for the woman. “How are you? Truthfully, Laura.” Samantha told her. Laura sighed upon hearing Samantha's question. She wrinkled the tissue paper before putting it on the side. “I just. I'm not happy anymore, Sam. I want a way out of our marriage. And the only thing is to go through processing our divorce papers.” She stared at the massive glass window on her side before her eyes went back to Sam. “The only problem is that he doesn't want us to go through divorce, Sam.” “I understand. But I hope you two can settle the dispute peacefully.” Samantha replied. Laura shook her head. “But I think peace will not be the answer this time. I'm tired of always giving peace chances.” Samantha pushed herself to rest on the back of the chair carefully. Giving peace a chance. She wanted to smile at the thought. She remembered those zi masters from China. Laozi and Confucius who were masters of giving peace a chance. She shook her head at the thought. “What's wrong?” A concerned question came from Laura. Samantha shook her head again at her. “Nothing. I just hope you both can gain a positive resolution, to end in on a good note if both of you finally see eye to eye in ending your marriage.” She mentally slapped herself upon thinking about those Chinese philosophers and the concept of their philosophical teachings. Those were great ones. Something that can be applied even now in the era of modernity. Those philosophers were able to create highly ordered ways of thinking in those chaotic chapters. She wanted to applaud them for choosing patience over fighting with aggression during those warring states. She stared back at the woman in front of her. “But do you really wanted to end it though?” Samantha asked her again. She knew that Laura really loves her husband. She's been talking about her want to fix her marriage the last time they talk. She was wandering why her thought process suddenly changed. “I do. But it's not something that will be enough for him.” Laura lowered her head and stared at the piece of dessert in her plate. She then started shaking her head as if she's disappointed. “It will never be enough for him, Sam.” She fixed her head, angling it back so that she can meet Samantha's eyes. Samantha started to think about her conversation with Laura. The woman was indeed in pain, but she managed to hide it in her calm demeanor. Almost as if the pains were dissolved. But despite of her meekness there's something that is deep, something that plunge her heart causing it to ache. Samantha's eyes roamed around to check on her own customers. A couple was happily taking a photo with the gorgeously preserved blooms they made. She smiled after seeing the pair. The cafe specialized in making dried and preserved flower arrangements aside from preparing freshly arranged flower bouquets. Samantha ensured that the walls and ceilings of her cafe were peppered with blooms, wanting to make her customers feel that they were in some fairytale wonderland. She also made it certain that the cafe will have intimate, cozy, and homey vibes in it. She wanted to make the people feel at home in her flower cafe. The Wild Heart Flower Cafe was a favorite of many. Samantha's heart swelled in warmth because of it. She put her love in it, created a safe haven not only for herself but for others too. The place became a place of relaxation for Samantha. It's a place where she can unwind from the hustle and bustle state of the big city she lived in. This is her favorite place. And will this place she love the most be Gregory's favorite place too? Samantha smiled warmly upon realizing her own question...
