ALPHA KAI’S POV
My eyes opened and I blinked, forcing myself to wake myself up from the harsh sunlight. I hissed as I could feel my body sore from all the scratches and wounds. 
Looking around, I paused. 
No. This isn’t the deep woods. 
Where the hell is Arya?
A sharp sickening pain entered my head and I hissed. My mind instantly recalled all the memories and I was reminded of fighting to the death with my brother last night. 
I instanlty stood up in alert but heard the dangling of chains pressed on my hand, along with the cold metal around me.
No, I am enclosed in a  cage. It’s completely dark around so I let my instincts rule me. Since it was shaking up a bit, I believe I am in a moving vehicle. A car. 
And this means only one thing. I lost the fight last night with my brother. And I am here in the back of a car, going to where the fuck it is. Yet why did he not kill me? 
No, questions are for later. I have to get out of here. I have to help Ace and save Arya. 
Yet I could feel another presence beside me. I am not alone and have company here.
I couldn’t smell anything and I curse my brother knowing it was his actions. No, I should not call him my brother anymore. That damn bastard just dulled my senses so I wouldn’t be able to fight now!
I could hear snoring from beside me. It’s definitely a human.
I feel the human grabbing my thigh and using it as a pillow. I froze, not moving and wanting to push the human away. No one even dared to do that, not even Arya! How dare this stupid human has the nerve!
I slapped the human instantly and since its dark, I could only make out its figure. It’s a woman. 
“Five more minutes, Ace, can’t you see I am sleeping?” The human complained and I instanlty recognized her voice; It was no other than Alpha Ace’s mate! 
“Kira?” I mumbled, we are not that close and I haven’t even talked to this woman. I hated her existence since’s a human but since she was Ace’s mate, I have to respect her. 
She woke up to my voice and instanlty sat upright in alert, “Oh my goodness! What a horrible dream!”
Her eyes met mine and she paused, and blinked before screaming, “AH!”
I rolled my eyes at her overreaction, irritated by this woman, and instantly put my chain hand on her mouth to stop her.
When she calmed down enough, she asked, “What the hell are you doing in my room?”
I scoffed, “Ace’s Mate, this is not your room. We are locked up in a cage in a moving vehicle leading to where the fuck these damn fowlers want.”
Her mouth formed a tight line, and she was about to scream again when I instantly put my hand on her lips again, “Stop screaming bitch! You’re alerting them, want us to never be able to escape here?”
She shook her head.
“Good, now watch your mouth! Be calm!” I ordered firmly. 
“Why the hell am I in this cage with you? Why the hell do these chains hurt? And where are they taking us?” She asked in fear, now calming down.
I shook my head, wanting to facepalm as I know this is the worst possible scenario. Atleast they should have chosen the perfect werewolf to get here, not this weak human beside me! What could she do when I try to initiate my escape plan? 
She’s just bitching around! An overreacting woman. This is not good. 
Well, at least I am not locked here with Arya, I am glad she’s fine. 
“You remember what happened that night?” I asked.
Through the darkness, her expression suddenly changed into disbelief, “What night? Are you suggesting something happened to us? Ew, take me back to Ace!”
I gritted my teeth, the moon goddess is just testing my patience now. I wanted to hit this woman so she could pass out but Ace might see the mark on her face, I guess I have to keep it in. 
“Stupid, nothing happened. I am talking about last night when you are attacked by the fowlers. Tell me everything and do not leave anything out.” I firmly said. She nodded, now trying to recollect her memories.
When she was finished telling me, I absorbed everything and formed a plan.
I will wait for the moment this car stops and they would transfer us to where the fuck they want. I would hit them and destroy this cage, but first, I have to solve how I can move with this body, Zef seemed to numbed not just my senses but my whole body-
My thoughts were instanlty stopped by the same woman, “So? What are you planning?”
“I’m planning how to kill you if you don’t stop stepping on my nerve, woman.” 
She giggled, clearly not feeling threatened or scared by my threats, “Ah, I can see it clearly now. How Arya hates you, I can see the short temper redness.”
I bit my lip, “She…told you that?”
“Yes, and how selfish, arrogant damn bastard you are.” I rolled my eyes, wanting to hit her when she flashed me a peace sign and chuckled, “Just kidding, she didn’t say that.”
I leaned in and grabbed her head, “I swear, one wrong move and I won’t hesitate to smash your little head in these iron bars.” Damn this, I feel like I am babysitting a puppy! How the hell did Ace manage to endure this woman? I wonder how he managed to stay alive just from hearing this annoying innocent squeaky voice. It haunts me. 
And being held captive seems normal to her as if she experienced this before she’s not even feeling scared. She seems laid back and has alreayd accepted her fate. 
She gulped, “Alright, I will stop messing with you now.” 
And I knew she didn’t have to hear that one more time to know that I was dead serious. 
I swear, once we get out of here, I would ask Ace to replace this damn mate.
