ARYA’S POV
He paused, breathing heavily as he directly looked into my eyes, “Because you must be carrying our pups now.”
I swear, I felt like my whole soul evaporated right there, and then I gasped in shock.
Fuck.
This was the first thing that came to mind upon hearing that.
Because this wasn’t supposed to happen.
Never did I plan this to come.
A pup on the way?
‘Oh please, are you sure you did not? Because you did not even have any brain cells and fought Alpha Kai when he was having his way on your body not once…not twice…but countless times..and yet your dumb self never thought of that?’
I could hear my own thoughts fighting with me. And I couldn’t blame them because damn it. How the heck did I not think of something forming inside my belly when we were doing it so passionately and when I was in heat?
My hands suddenly fell on my belly as I try to feel anything.
Well, I couldn’t feel anything inside my belly now…
However, I couldn’t deny the disappointment on my face, which was opposite to Kai’s reaction, who looked like he just won something.
Damn this bastard. And damn me for not thinking of the consequences. Pregnancy is a scary thing, and I had always sworn to myself that I will never let any seed of any alpha or beta get planted and bloom inside me.
What's more, I hadn’t even fully sought my revenge, on these twins.
But then again, I had reached this point of closeness to Kai where I would just let him unravel me, and not once did I think of my revenge once again. 
Has he finally rubbed off on me?
Have I lost my will to reach my goal?
I breathed deeply, inhaling and exhaling and trying to keep myself calm despite the nerves that I am feeling.
Relax, Arya. You might just be a bloated little omega, nothing more. 
I couldn’t even sense life inside my belly so there was still hope that it is not true.
I have to stay rational instead of emotional. There is no way this is going to happen because I am not letting myself pregnant, especially since the father is one of the twins.
I glared at him, “Why do you look like it is the best news in the world?”
He paused, “Isn’t having pups the best thing in the world?”
I rolled my eyes and thought of his twin, Zef. What would his reaction be if Kai was indeed right that I was carrying his pups? What if Zef knows?
It’s not like I can discard this thing in my belly completely.
It’s not like I was officially part of the Midnight's pack. The last time I remember, I was halfway to being officially part of them if not for Kai rudely stopping Zef from initiating the ceremony.
My train of thought was interrupted by Kai’s large hands grabbing my chin to make me look at him, “Eyes up here, baby.”
His eyes narrowed on me, and darkened when he read my expression, “You seem to not like the idea of carrying my pups.”
I bit my lip, “And if I am? Last time I checked, I had made it clear that I want to get my revenge.”
“Yet you did. You saw me having a hard time. That’s your revenge. Now stop thinking about that revenge and focus on the thing we created,” he pointed at my stomach and pulled my head closer as he whispered deeply, I am your mate.”
“And so do Zef.” 
His jaw clenched so much hearing that, his hand gripped my chin harder now.
I pushed his hand away before he could even break me. “Quit acting like you did something voluntarily. The moon goddess was bored that out of all the werewolves, she even chose me as your mate now here we are. You don’t like me, you just wanted to compete with your brother on who can plant your seed first.”
I was breathing deeply as I let out all of those things, and the moment I finished, Kai was looking at me in disbelief, “Is that what you think of me?”
“Yes.” I said, “You made it clear from the start right?”
His hands were running on his hair now as if talking to me was such a huge pain in the ass, his patience was ruing thin, I know it, and I am determined to push him harder so much that he will break, “So all those.....fuck, I’m losing my mind, Arya, are you hearing yourself clearly?”’
I gave him a smirk, “Tell me if the moon goddess didn’t choose me, would you even look in my direction? No. You must have already killed me even the moment you captured me.”
He gnawed on his teeth, “You’re driving me crazy, do you know that?” 
We both went silent, glaring at each other until he broke it yet again, So all those lovemaking we did, that was nothing for you?”
“Yes, why else would I let my father and past lover’s murderer fuck me?”
He nodded, his face looking expressionless for a minute until his lips curved into a smirk as he trapped me into the wall, my back hitting the cold concrete.
He leaned into me as his breath tickled my ear. “Lie. You’re a fucking bad liar, Arya.”
I released a shaky breath, standing my ground when he continued, “You loved all our fucking, and you enjoyed every inch of it, you just won’t admit it because of your damn pride, baby.”
I flinched hearing him call me ‘baby’. My eyes refuse to even look at him now, feeling like I would break if I hear his other words while he's pinning me like this.
He then shook his head, as If disappointed at me, “I didn't take you for the dense type, Arya. I thought I made myself clear.” I could see his muscles bulging with the way he crossed his arms in front of him. 
“Clear from what?” I asked.
“Letting you escape even if it means I would have no pack to return to, saving you, letting myself get killed just for you.” He enumerated, “Does this still look like I am still competing with my brother for you? Heck, I might just have to die for you to finally realize it!” He looked angry and pissed now, and I don't even feel scared at all.
“Realize what? Just say it, Kai!” I yelled back, feeling like my veins were about to pop out. 
His hand grabbed my hand as he leaned down, almost kissing me, and his angry eyes shifted into a delicate expression.
Far from his usual expressionless and grumpy expression because the next thing I heard him say felt like “I love you! I fucking love you, why do you have to make me say it when everyone knows it!”
