I glanced at Gusev who was smirking a bit and I raised my eyebrow, “You know that it was because of you that the mood was ruined right? You dare.”
His head cocked to the side, “And you allowed me.”
“Because I don’t want to ruin Kira’s game,” I firmly said to him.
“Well, it was you who could say no to me.” He added, making me angrier.
“What is wrong with you? Is it your hobby to let mates break into a fight?” I had always thought that this vampire has changed my perspective of them, yet now, I don’t think so. 
A lopsided grin fell on the user’s face, “Oh honey, that is my passion.”
I sighed, not wanting to talk to him further because there is no sense now. “You know what? Screw you!”
I wanted to have my dramatic exit but then to the side, I saw Kira’’s sad expression. I felt a bit guilty for ruining it….. I knew she was up earlier than usual and prepared everything for us but here I am….ruining her efforts.
Kira started to gather herself and try to move to the other game but then her mind couldn’t focus….I couldn’t help but think about Kai. I knew it was partly my fault so I have to take responsibility and apologize.
“Still can't get your mind off of your mate?” Asked Apha Magnus, noticing my downed expression, “go and talk to him. He needs it.”
“Later, when the game ends. I don't want to ruin Kira’s preparation.”
Just then, the next game was called body shot. Everyone went to their mates, and I was left alone with Gusev who had no mate or partner.r I don't want to talk to him so I just stared at everyone else as they poured wine into their mate’s body and licked it.
When it died down and everyone was chilling, Alpha similarly suddenly lulled me in a corner ad talked, “Your father…he was Alpha rufous’s past better right?” 
I nodded suddenly reminded of my father and I intend felt down, missing him.
“I'm sorry for bringing it up. It was just…I was part of their pack once when I was an omega…until they drove me out…”
I gasped “Rally? You were part of the pack?”
She nodded, “ I guess I instantly recognized your scent cause you have traces of them left…”
She then looked at me, “but I have one question in mind….are you..carrying….your pups right. Now?”
I gasped, “No way….you….please keep it a secret for now, Alpha Kamilah.”
She nodded, zipping her lips as she smiled, “So that’s the reason…you hate your mate now because of your hormones. His pheromones make you hate him because I am pregnant without pups too.”
I gasped. 
“I want to invite you here in our pack, but since your mat is an alpha, I guess we could do that. He belongs to the midnight pack.”
“But we ran away from there, we abandoned it.”
“You’re still part of them. You have to return there.”
I nodded. She is right, making things longer and staying here longer does not change the fact that we are tactless and lone wolves now unless we return…to Alpha. Zef.
But he might kiilll Kai…
Kira decided to stop the game now and as soon as the game was halted, Alpha Kamilah decided to bring me to her pack’s elder who is an expert on pregnant she-wolves. she tried to help me and give me advice on what’s do and don’ts.
“Hello, Alpha Kamilah.” She bowed a bit and offered a graceful smile at us, “What brings the great alpha to come to my humble tent?” 
“Hello, elder.” Alpha Kamilah greeted back, “I am with a companion. We came here to seek help about our pregnancy.” 
She nodded, glancing at me and smiling warmly at me, “Hello there.”
I nodded, smiling back, feeling a bit awkward, “Hello…” 
She offered us seats as she faced us. The elder was an old she-wolf of Alpha Kamilah’s pack who has the gift to see the future also. Her left eye was damaged due to old age but she still looked healthy enough to stand. However, she couldn’t shift anymore as her body deteriorates slowly. 
My belly was not that big, and there was only a little bump. But as soon as her hand reached my belly, the elder gasped in shock and stared at me. I felt nervous about what part of my future she saw in me. 
Is it good? Is it bad? Whatever it is, I do not care now. I’ve had enough. 
“Oh, dear. I am so sorry for what you experienced. You’ve been through a lot.” She pulled me in a hug and I felt kind of comforted by that. 
“Trust me, everything will get better. Just stay strong and don’t let anyone take away your gift.” She said, smiling as she rubbed my belly. “
“But be careful of the man with tattooed on, he’ll try to ruin your life.”
Tattoos on? That is Kai! It’s like she was describing my mate and how I should avoid him. How could I when I am bound to him? 
Now that it is confirmed, my pregnancy and expecting pups despite wishing for revenge and being unsettled in place, I have mixed emotions over this.
I do not know how to take care of my body in the first place, what more with these pups?
I had seen a lot of mothers back at our past rogue pack, frightened of what was to come just because their mates left them. 
Most of them died during their childbirth, and that is one of my fears for now. 
I nodded, glancing at Alpha Kamilah who was supporting me beside me. 
“Your body is weak, my child. You have to stop shifting for now and eat more now that you are not only eating for yourself but for your pups too.” She advised, and then looked around. “Where is your mate?”
“I am here.” A deep gruff voice said behind and I didn’t have to glance to see Kai with Alpha Magnus beside him.
I glance at Alpha Kamilah beside if she knew they would come but I bet she didn’t know of it too judging from the shocked expression on her face. 
Alpha Magnus was the first one to approach us and planted a soft kiss on his mate’s lips, “My love. You should have informed me about this. I should have come with you.” 
Alpha Kamilah smiled back, “It’s alright. Now you are here.”
Kai was behind and hesitant to approach me. 
“I apologize for butting in but let me speak with my mate first.” He said and motioned for me to come outside the tent. 
I did as he wanted and followed him and when we were out of their sight, Kai didn't hesitate to put his arms around me. 
“I can’t be angry at you, baby.” He said, “I apologize for the way I acted earlier.”
I smiled, not used to him apologizing and my heart instantly forgave him, melting into his touch again. 
I reached and kisses his lips, making him smile as he pulled me deeper.
