Chapter 31: Water found herself

The misty scenery was blurred, seeing my doctor's teammates grabbed him forcibly back inside the building. Three guards were also holding his arms as he begged desperately. And fellow workers carried Lance away.
"Wait! No! Please, we can't leave Sarah here!" They were quarreling in the middle of the storm mixed with heavy winds.
"Sir, you need to understand. This is for your safety-" One of the guards insisted, but my doctor remained stubborn. He pushed them away in harsh and immediately went towards me, but he froze. His eyes were stilled and couldn't make a move.
How pity, because of the moment he was about to carry me away, one of his teammates shot him in his back. It produced a tiny sound but sounded life-threatening. It was a small needle packed with a blinking object in red at the upper tip.
But unlike what happened to Lance, no blood comes outside from my doctor's mouth. From that perspective, maybe that wasn't deadly. I guess?
I saw the lady in gray eyes watched over me as I imagined the things that were happening right now. She swang her fingers right in front of my view and disappeared. The last time I knew, I was fully awake, and I can feel my throat healing by itself. I was glad that I slowly gained my consciousness back again. In the blink of an eye, I got back to life.
I immediately roamed my eyes around to see the environment's current state. I glanced at those people who were extremely amazed after seeing the storm gone in a snap. When I was standing up to view more of my surroundings, my eyes instantly dropped towards my doctor.

I shuttered in fear seeing him lying unconsciously on the ground. I was disturbed, shaking my head several times because of unacceptance. I was about to run towards him, but the medical workers got him immediately. And because of their quick response, I hesitated.
I thought to myself that he was dead, but I refused to believe it! I cried out of frustration to get near to him. Fear and anxiety ruled over me in which, for some reason, I failed to handle.
Their wailing mixed with the wang of the wind, and it was hard for me to comprehend what was going on! In addition to that, the surroundings slowly became blurred in which hindered me in seeing them vividly.
It may be too cold for everyone to handle the wind, but in my case, my body does not react to it. I felt weird knowing that I cannot feel anything from the wind's temperature or even its humidity. It was indeed an advantage on my part, where I can freely run away from the odds without this disturbance.
From my place, I saw those soldiers running forward as soon as they spotted me again. I quickly ran away and find places where I could hide.
People were like seeing a monster as I passed by the payment. They quickly ran in frightened, and I can even hear them saying curse words towards me. Well, I think because they saw everything I did lately.
"They should catch her! She's a threat to this society!"
"She doesn't belong here!"
"Where did she came from?"
"She's not a human!"
I can't stop having tears when I have the thought to understand every word that people muttered about me. I am a threat to them? But why? Were they mad because of who I am? But, I didn't do anything wrong! I wasn't able to control myself, but I knew it was beyond my control!
It was my first time having a feeling like this. It was like torturing me through their words.
Is this how it feels to be a normal person?
I ran as fast as I could while those soldiers kept on shooting bullets towards me. Luckily, none of these hit my back. Every time I stepped on this concrete sidewalk, I can hear a slight cracking sound from the ground. I didn't bother to figure out what was going on, but one thing that I was sure about was a green branches came out from it like a crawling snake!
I was afraid that I might fall into this hole in a straight line, so I quickly changed my direction, but it still didn't work! The ground kept on cracking as I stepped forward!
My thoughts were chaotic, and I cannot think properly. And without my full notice, I stop running. I watched those crack lines that gradually separate from each other. I looked back to see if those soldiers were near to me, and yes, they were!
I have decided to continue running, but I accidentally fell below the grounds! I was shouting in eagerness for help, but none of these people hear me out. My voice echoed, but no one responded. All of them ran away.
They were avoiding me.
I closed my eyes to feel what would happen to me next until plenty of tiny branches circulated my hips. I can sense that these were carrying me back to the ground. It helped me stood up and fixed my posture.
When the branches separated from my body, I instantly looked at my back to check the surroundings. From a few meters away, soldiers were already positioning themselves to fire me. Some climbed at a building for them to avoid being seen easily, and a few disguised themselves as plants hiding from those tiny bushes beside a store.
I was in a moment to stare back at those branches, but from the right side of my ear, I can hear a shot running towards me. My reflexes were fast. I turned three-sixty degrees and made the bullet disappeared through a single cast of water. The splashing sound it creates was evident in my ears.
I thought that was the only bullet left, but there were a few more. I did the same thing. I made these bullets turned into waters with the help of these branches. My eyes were waving in blue again the moment I released the power I had.
It was noticeable that by the moment we had made these bullets ceased, the plants around us began to grow, and these branches surrounding me became faster.
"Who are you?" I asked myself in the curiosity of who was the one controlling these tall helpful creatures. But to my surprise, I heard a male response right in my head.
"You don't know me? You made my heart broke." His voice cracked and was familiar, and I think I had heard it through my dreams before. I didn't know why he sounded this way, but I can feel a sad tone on it. I felt guilty for no reason.
"I am sorry..." Those were the only words I said inside my mind while still moving to capture these bullets away.
"I have no choice. I am happy to hear your voice once again, at this time that you slowly get to know yourself more." His voice right now changed. It sounded more passionate and positive. Even though I haven't seen him, and we were talking inside my head, I was sure that he was smiling at that time.
I also can't help myself from smiling.
And because of that, I accidentally made a bad move. The bullet hit my left arm, and it shed blood. I sniffled.
