Ava's POV
Aww, fortunate Nicole. He craves to rekindle his longtime romance with Aurora. I am so happy for Aurora and Nicole, they finally reconcile after decades. I feel so proud of myself, I brought a blessing to them, and my good deeds brought a blessing to them.
But… am I a blessing to have a lot of problems to solve, and people to protect? All I want is a day without pains, worries, tears, and regrets.
I slumped the position of my shoulder as my soul was drowning in the shoulder grief, they all have someone that loves and respects them unlike me.
I got forcefully married and fooled, My heart was played by those twin monsters, and I was deceived. I guess, I learned my lesson. Never fall in love? Or be careful of whoever you fall in love with? Or stay with the person who loves you and cherishes you, stay with the man who knows your worth? Or stay with the man you love or the father of your children? I don't know what to do, I rather stay single for now but what will happen when the kids start asking their father? What happens then?
Well, there is nothing I can do about my misfortune. My main goal is protecting my children, Lucas, and his new family, that's all I think. I will sort my life after sorting theirs.
I noticed Nicole wistfully smiling to himself starting at an open space.
“Why are you smiling?“ I questioned.
“I don't know… just happy I guess,s,” Nicole said with his eyes fixed on the same spot.
People say love is sweet like honey, maybe for others but not for me. Everyone is happy in their relationships but mine is complicated. I guess I was doomed from childbirth to never have someone to call, My Love.
“Alright, kids. Let's go home.“ I said clapping my hands.
Sam and Derek held hands as they ran towards me “Alright, Mommy.“ they both yelled.
I smiled at them holding their hands.
Lucas, Jane, and Loveth walked past the door as they disappeared in thin air.
I smiled and walked in with my babies, I turned around to wave goodbye at Nicole before leaving, I sighted him kissing Aurora passionately, she got here so soon. Goodbye! I will be back for your marriage ceremony.
I appeared at Donald's villa, we were surrounded by family members.
I pressed my lips thinking about how to express myself, we need to live here to protect Lucas but we can't live here without asking the lord of the house.
They were all staring at me with anger, I guess. Huh…the Donalds have a full smile on their faces.
“Ava, I'm so sorry. All these days I thought you murdered my son, Don. I am grateful for…“ M.rs Donald got interrupted by Mr. Donald
“Why are you apologizing to a mermaid? Do not lower your standards to a mere fish just because you are grateful.“

“Thanks, Ava. Do you remember the deal you made? I will give you some time to remarry the man of your choice, I meant Dyrus or Don. As per the deal, Lucas can't stay alive without you doing your part, you understand me more, don't you? A word is enough for the wise.“ Mr. Donald said as he walked away. I nod, I have a plan to double-cross them, watch and see.
“Lucas and Jane, you both should use that room, the kitchen is that way,”, I said pointing at the empty guest room door and the kitchen. I want their rooms to be closer to mine, I can't trust these Jinns. I want to have my eyes closer to them, no one knows what the Jinns are planning.
“Thanks, Ava. I know you are doing all this for me. If not, you wouldn't have come to these monsters' homes. I feel like I am a burden to you. You wouldn't have done all these if not for my sicknesses.“ Lucas said slumping his shoulder.
“No, not at all. Do not say that. You are not a burden. I love you so much and I don't wish to lose you, that's the main reason I am doing all this not that you are a burden in my life, you are the reason I smile at myself sometimes. “What would you allow an enemy to stay in our house? Isn't that risky?“ There was distance chattering in the hall before everyone walked away except Don, he stared at me at first, moving towards me. He stretched his hands to reach more him.
“Hmm… I'm so tired, I need rest.“ I lied trying to avoid him.
Don pinched the bridge of his nose

Why is he acting cares about me?
Daniel ran towards me,
“Mommy,” he uttered smiling at me.
Daniel gasped as he sighted Derek and Sam.
“Brothers,” he yelled joyfully as they started hopping on the cushioned chair, holding hands. I feel fulfilled seeing Sam happy.
“Let's go play outside,” Derek joyfully suggested.
“No!No! No one is playing outside, it's dangerous out there. Mommy will be angry if anyone leaves the house, alright?“ I strictly said.

“Me neither,” Sam and Daniel said.
“Derek?“ I let out.

I walked to my room which was beside Lucas's room, I'm exhausted. Wait, where on earth is Aurora? Oh, Nicole invited her over to his place.
