Ava's POV
I don't think this is the right time for me to confess it to him. I would rather tell him the truth about the father of my children when he is in a very good mood. I don't want to hurt his feelings nor do I want to keep the truth away from him, he deserves to know the truth.
I don't want to ruin his happiness. Well, I'm so glad to have someone that loves and takes good care of them. I hope he doesn't break out when he finds out about the father of my children.
“Wow, you spent a lot of hours with them. Thank you so much. I will go check on them, right now.“ I announced as I stood from the bed, I only want to be alone with my children for some hours at least.
“Oh, should I come along?“ Don offered.
“No, you need rest. You did my job already by taking good care of the children. Thanks.“ I refused his offer, I need some space.
“Do not thank me, please. And they are not your children, they are ours. Putting our children to sleep is not even one-third of the favor you expressed to me. Our kids are in the room after Lucas's room, if you want to see them before you go to bed. They must be asleep by now.“ Don said as he spreads the bed properly and starts arranging the room.
I was about to turn around and walk away but he stopped me.
“Wait… you can't leave in this way, I will get you a night ware.“ Don said. That'd be so nice of him.
“Bazingaa” He ordered as a golden and silver eagle came from nowhere turning into a golden sparkling wand adorned with silver in his hand, he wraps his fingers around the wand “A bra ca da bra,” I froze at the wide viewpoint, I couldn't utter a word to him out of shock. I'm still shocked, so Don controls an eagle named Bazigah.
What does Dyrus control? Probably, nothing. Not even himself nor his anger talk less of controlling a being. Don stretched forth his golden wand towards the dressing room. He pulled out clothing and a nightgown. Oh, it's a black nightgown. All I want is to put on anything. I am fine with this clothing. I stretched my hand to grab the black nightgown but I couldn't,
“Nah, too dull,” Don said as he dropped the gown, removing another one from the dressing room. He brought out pink pajamas with teddy bears drawn on them. It looks too childish, I would rather go for the black nightgown
“Hmm…hmm.“ Don muttered nodding his head, positively to the pink pajamas. “This will look great on you, will you try it on?“
“Yes, please.“ I hurriedly said. I didn't like the pajamas but I don't want to waste time searching for nightwear that will suit our taste. I had to go for it.
“A bra ca da bra,” he uttered, and the pajamas were already on me. He released his grip on the golden wand, and it turns into the same golden eagle and flies away. I opened my jaw.
Wow…
This will be my first time setting my eyes on a golden eagle with silver eyes and peek.
I smiled at him. I walked out of my room to my kid's room that Don described, earlier. Immediately I open the door, I sighted sparkles, the room was filled with magic I could sense it strongly.
There were magical unicorns, a piece of soft music playing in the background and their room is properly decorated with magic.
Aww. That is so sweet of Don. Finally, someone cares about us in this mansion. I walked in to check on them one after the other, they were laid on three different king-sized beds with a lot of teddy bears they clutched unto.
I walked to Derek's bed, I opened my jaw as my eyes met this incredible thing happening. I placed my palm on my wide-opened mouth, the magical fairies were gifting so many things to Derek. They arranged some royal robes on the golden stool beside him, some were rubbing his skin with royal jelly, and some brought in several flowers and toys. They are paying their dues to Derek, for he is their future leader, their future Alpha.
The fairies brought in numerous gifts, including his promises and wears. I was blushing, I placed kissed my forehead. I am so proud of you, Derek.
I moved away from the room so I won't disturb the magical fairies from doing their work I wanted to shut the door as I backed them but I noticed Sam shivering, I walked up to him, to check on him again. He is crying while he is asleep. I know he is experiencing pain, losing one's mother hurts a lot.
I rolled the duvet covering his shivering body, I sat on the bed as I rest my body on his bed, patting him to rest and trying to console him. May his mother's soul rest in perfect peace.
Soon, he started snoring peacefully, he stopped crying or shivering. Sam needs more love and affection. I took some gifts offered in Derek's bed and shared them among them but Derek had a larger portion of them "When they wake up seeing all these, they will be so happy thinking their dad did all these.“ I giggles.
Their dad? My smile turned to a frown, I shut their room door, dragging my feet to my room with slumped shoulders as clouds of depression was above me. I walked into my room, I can't even point out what I am sad about. I'm so sad deep down. Dyrus… why does he keep on hurting me? What have I done wrong to deserve this maltreatment from him? And why do I keep thinking about him? Why can't I forget him? I was so happy when I lost my memory. I wish I could lose the memories I ever shared with Dyrus just to regain that happiness I lost months ago.
I opened my room door only to see Don snoring loudly, I laid down on the same bed with Don expecting sleep to take over but I couldn't rest a bit. My body needs the rest more than ever but my mind is with Dyrus. I kept thinking of Dyrus. Do I still love him?

I placed my palm on my head as I felt a storm of terrible aches in my head. Shit! I had to sip water from the glass cup beside me but it worsened. I knew I needed rest so why do I keep stressing myself out? I laid down. Eventually, thoughts about Dyrus flew away but that of Sage's evil plan overshadowed my mind. How can she hurt Derek with the mermaid pearls?
