" Why should I do that? Doesn't she have a maid or guard?" He asked and stood up immediately leaving the dining room and it fell into silence.
Don Federico turned to Ava and said, "Don't mind him, he sometimes behaves like that" he smiled and Ava nodded before continuing to eat.
" Sometimes my foot. Father is just covering up for that bastard, he doesn't like her. He loves curvy women with big butt and boobs, not some college student" Giovanni sneered silently.
" Hello sister in law" Alessandro waved at Ava who raised her head from her food. It was awkward for her that she became short of words. What was she supposed to say?
She smiled at him and nodded before facing her food making Giovanni burst into a thunderous laughter. " Close your mouth, Alessandro. How do you want her to answer you when she was forced into a loveless marriage?" Giovanni whispered to Alessandro and he immediately shut his mouth.

The dinner ended, and everyone returned to whatever they were doing before dinner. Havana glared at Ava before leaving the dining room making her heart skip a beat.
" Am i now in someone's bad book in just few hours of getting here?" She thought and groaned inwardly. " I am so finished. Ava, you're done" she muttered and went to her room, shutting the door behind her.
She fell on the bed and closed her eyes, reminiscing all that happened during the dinner earlier. Don Federico's kindness towards her, Vincenzo's uncomfortable gaze, the weirdest brother-in-laws and lastly, the girl glaring at her.
" Who could she be? I know for sure that godfather doesn't have a daughter so why was she glaring at me that way?" Ava thought and sighed. " I wish I could go home. I am sick of this place, everyone doing their things and here I am inside my room from morning till night" she pouted, and almost immediately, Vincenzo's harsh voice, mean look, cold glares, and uncomfortable gaze at her pooped into Ava's head and she folded her fists.
" I hate him. Such a loser, why would he treat me like I don't exist? For Christ's sake, I am his goddamn wife. Was I just taken away from my parent and home to be dumped in this place?" She asked loudly for anyone passing beside the door to her room to hear.
" I HATE YOU VINCENZO MARINO!!!" She shouted. Ava thought everyone would be downstairs doing one thing or the other since she heard that the clan is always busy with people doing many things, so she decided to air her thought loudly so she could feel at ease but what she didn't know was that she would be so unfortunate.
" Now I am at ease. I just need some fresh air then I will be fine since I would be dying here anyways" she said and took her phone from the bed and walked to the door.
She twisted the doorknob and opened it only to meet the coldest blue eyes ever glaring hard at her and she flinched back almost immediately. Ava's eyes were blown wide and her heart beating widely against her ribs.
" I am foolish. Gosh!! What have you done to yourself Ava?" She thought biting her lower lips as she felt his gaze on her. Vincenzo maintained eye contact for some seconds before speaking, "Don't you ever call my name in your life" his voice sent her brain reeling due to how silky it sounded and Ava's breathing whimpered as she nodded slowly. He walked out of her sight and she heaved a breath she doesn't even know she's been holding all along when she saw him.
" I just hope my mouth doesn't put me into trouble" she muttered and went downstairs. She met her maid Kara on the way and Kara asked to follow her which she agreed. After all, she knew nothing about the clan and would lose her way as to how big it was.
Kara showed her different parts of the clan which amazed Ava. She had never seen a place as big as the clan and she kept smiling like a kid which made Kara chuckle for the very first time. " Did I just hear you chuckle?" Ava whose legs were dangling in the pool asked and Kara's once smiling face changed into a straight face void of emotions.
" No miss" she answered and Ava raised her head to look at Kara. " Is there any point in lying? I heard you chuckle behind me and I wasn't wrong. Is it forbidden to smile here?" She asked and Kara shook her head. " Then why aren't you permitted to smile?" Ava asked and Kara sighed. " Because it is forbidden here. This is a mafia clan, we don't show our emotions even when we are happy or sad. We keep our emotions to ourselves." Kara answered and Ava left the pool to face her. " Doesn't it means rotting on the inside? I mean keeping your emotions to yourself means killing yourself slowly" Ava said as they left the pool going back to the mansion. " It doesn't mean the same here, showing your emotions makes you weak."
The night was dark, and the air thick with tension as the members of the Venomous Alliance Clan prepared for the mission. Vincenzo, known for his strategic brilliance stood as the leader of the mission. That's why he isn't an underworld boss for nothing. His piercing eyes scanned the surroundings carefully making sure that every detail was correct.
Don Federico, the Cosa Nostra entrusted Vincenzo with the task because he always comes back with victory. Ever since he was given the underworld boss, he never failed a mission. Don Federico handed Vincenzo the map which was marked with details of Viper's secret warehouse.
In the heart of the operation, Antonio sat hunched over his laptop, his fingers dancing across the keys with lightning speed, that's why he was never called computer wizard for nothing. He is the clan's expert hacker. He was responsible for infiltrating the Viper's system and gaining access to their hidden fortress.
 As Antonio worked his magic, Nickie, Romeo, Alessandro, Giovanni and others positioned themselves around the warehouse waiting for Antonio's order to strike. They were wearing black from head to toe to blend seamlessly into the shadows of the night. Each of them held a gun tightly in their hands ready to strike.
 " Get ready to strike" came Antonio's voice on a small earpiece connected with all the members of the clan, allowing Antonio to give them important information and directions.
" In the count of three you all attack at once while Vincenzo would go straight to their boss because it's obvious he would try to escape and the rest of you would do as godfather has ordered," he said and kept quiet for some seconds before saying, " are you all ready?" He asked and they all chorused lowly, "Yes".
" 1....2.....3.... STRIKE!!" He ordered and immediately they creaked the system door open with the help of Antonio who had the door system hacked. They entered the maze-like corridors of the Viper's secret warehouse. The air became heavy with anticipation as they made their way silently through the dimly hit hallways. They were the Venomous snakes that strike fear into the hearts of their enemies.
 "Turn to the right and you will see a painting along the hallway, take it out and you will see a keypad. The password is 4406, that's the code to their main operation ground " Antonio said and Giovanni smirked.
" You're a wizard Antonio" he chuckled and Antonio laughed through the earpiece. " Now you know."
They did as they were told and the door to the operation ground opened revealing high equipment, hard drugs, and many more.
Vincenzo's eyes met with those of the members, and a silent understanding passed between them. It was now time to unleash their fury upon the Vipers.
In a few minutes the clash of weapons, the shooting of guns, and the cries of pain echoed through the air. Blood stained the ground and it was obviously those of the Vipers because the Venomous snakes are well trained members, so it would be hard to get injured easily.
Knowing fully well that the Venomous Alliance Clan has attacked their secret warehouse, Salvatore tried escaping but little did he know that no one can run from the eagle eyes of the underworld boss, VINCENZO!!.
In the end, they came out victorious as always, " good job everyone" Vincenzo said holding Salvatore by his collar. Salvatore face was severely injured with a bursted lips, swollen eyes and cheeks.
" god Father will be proud of us. Let's retreat and rest our ass off, it's been a long night" Vincenzo said and Giovanni and Romeo took Salvatore from Vincenzo leading him to the car that was brought for the mission.
" Good job Antonio. So proud of you" Vincenzo said through the earpiece and Antonio smiled. 
" Thanks, boss."
