“Good morning! You're so early, what happened?” I heard my mother's voice. I smiled at her. “I'm going to make our lunch, Mom,” I answered. I glimpse at her, but her shoulder slumped. “Okay? Let me taste your dish,” she said. She doesn't like Zoe, but she's still supporting my feelings toward Zoe. I served the food, and she starts to eat it. I'm just observing her and waiting for her feedback. “Hm, it's delicious, the meat, vegetables, it's not salty, and it's not too sweet, yeah, it's good!” I smiled, “Thank you, Mom! I'm going to prepare myself for our class.” I kissed her cheek and went upstairs. My mother always wants me to kiss her cheeks, she told me that at least I can give it to her, instead of hugs. I don't know, but it seems like it's just a sign of respect, and love for her. It's not a big deal for me, she's still my mother. Furthermore, I took a bath, and wear my uniform. Our uniform is white polo inside, black vest, and black necktie, and black pants. With vest was only for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, while without vest is for Thursday and Friday. Our Physical Education is separated, if we're going to do some physical fitness, we're going to bring our uniform for that. For example, it's Monday, but we have a subject for physical fitness, we're going to change our uniform. To be honest, it's a hassle to bring it or to have a different uniform. When I finished my daily routine, I go back downstairs and went to the kitchen to prepare the food. It's for Zoe, I still thinking if I'm going to invite Sapphire, it's not a bad idea, right? I just want them to be friends. My daily allowance was from my father, but sometimes I have a part-time job, to separate my expenses from my wants. “Bye, Mom!” I shouted while walking towards the car. Our family driver insisted that he wants to take me to the school. There's no reason to resist it, he starts the engine, and after a few minutes, he starts to drive. I took my phone to message Zoe, I told her to meet me at the school gate, and she replied. After 10 minutes or 15 minutes, we arrived at the school gate. Some of the students are walking with their friends, and some of them are walking alone. “Harvey! I'm here!” she shouted. I automatically smiled when I saw her angelic face. She's wearing our uniform. Tucked in black long sleeves polo with a light blue bow, and an instant black belt to their high waist light blue checkered shirt. She's so cute, with a little bit of cool appeal. I hug her when I came closer to her distance. My heart is beating fast, I hope she didn't hear it. I don't know if this is normal, but I can feel like there's a butterfly in my stomach. She giggles, “Harvey, let's go, we will going to be late if we stayed like this.” I glanced at her. I hold her hand, I don't care if anyone can see us like this, we're not doing some bad things. Mind their own business, and my business is Zoe Amethyst Riego. I heard her camera, she's taking a picture while we are walking. I secretly smile, “By the way, do you have a group? Our teacher assigned a project for us, I think, she called it to interview?” I asked. “I'm exempted for that, did I tell you that I've informed the teachers that day, so no worries.” We reached the hallway. “Are you done with making your homework? Projects? I would like to help you, if you want,” I asked. I squeezed her palm, “Nah, I'm done, and you don't need to help me, besides you also have some homework, and tasks to do.” We entered the room, she released my hand when we both sat in our chairs. There's something that was written on the whiteboard. “This day is the start, Good luck to all of you, students!” The student stopped, and they gasped for air. My eyes widened, and they are having a deep sigh. The pen is floating, it's writing by itself. I looked at Zoe, she's sitting like nothing is happening right now. She's giving a blank stare. In my opinion, she can see it. She's just not scared by the strange thing. After a few minutes, the pen fell to the ground. The silence conveyed the whole room. Their breath was the only sound of it. A few minutes have been already passed, our teacher entered the room. “What happened to all of you?” our teacher asked. Her forehead wrinkled. “Anyone? Answer me!” she yelled. She scanned the whole room and looked at our faces. “Who wrote these words?” She pointed out the words on the whiteboard. Someone raised its hand. “We saw that pen was floating, and it's moving on its own,” our classmate stated. She raised her eyebrow. “Float? Moving? Really? It's just your hallucinations, it's not true.” She crossed her arms and wrinkled her forehead. “We saw it clearly, and our eyes can't deceive ourselves,” our classmate chattered. The teacher shook her head while smirking. “It looks like you didn't understand the life, aren't you?” Our classmate scratches his head. “All of the things in this world can deceive the human's eye, sometimes, the real things can look like the fake things, while the others will prove what's is fake, or what's is real.” I arched my eyebrow. I didn't understand her point, “For example, look at the ceiling, you didn't see any problem, right? But, can't you see the hidden thread? Take a look at this,” she murmured. She walks to the pen and holds the thread, when she pulled the thread and it went up. The students are sitting, but speechless. I looked at Zoe, and she didn't show any emotions. It seems like my observation was right. “Observe yourselves, students! Good luck!” the teacher exclaimed. She's smirking while walking away from the classroom.
