“Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen! A warm word of welcome to everyone tonight as we celebrate the school's anniversary. Tonight is an exceptional evening, I'm glad that many of the students have been able to join us in this evening,” the campus president starts her welcome speech.
“Let's capture some magical moments, let's create happy memories, and let's surround ourselves with laughter and friendship as we celebrate this special occasion,” she announced while standing at the center of the stage.
“Have fun! Enjoy the night!” After her speech, the crowd began to make some noises, and they are shouting.
The loud music starts to play, and some of the students began to dance at the open field. I don't know why, but this time, the admin of this school allowed the liquors.
Even though they are aware that some of the students were still a minor. I need to look for Zoe Amethyst.
By the way, the teachers required us to wear some masks to hide our identity. I don't know why, maybe they required it on purpose.
Unlike the other parties, we are not wearing some fancy clothes, we are still wearing our school uniforms.
However, the campus officers and the teachers or professors are wearing some elegant masks.
From the distance, I saw her brunette hair. I run immediately in her direction before someone gets her hand.
“Zoe!” I shouted. I raised my hand to get her attention. She turned her head in my direction, and she smiled at me.
I gasped and stood up speechless. At this moment, something came up to my mind, and I realized... If you thought that you can be together with your special ones, sometimes it's impossible, and it is harder to achieve.
The time is running, and we are slowly losing our time for the important things in our lives.
I smile at her, and hold her hand, “You're so beautiful,” I murmured. Behind the mask, it covers the beautiful face of a lady in front of me.
“Will you accept if I ask you to be my lady not for tonight, but for the rest of my life?” With the help of the moonlight, and some of the lights. I saw her genuine smiles.
Without a doubt, I hug her. I don't care if everybody can see us like this. I kissed her cheek, and whisper to her ear, “I like you.”
“Zoe? Please, accept me...” I said with an airy voice. I heard her gasping for air.
“H-Harvey...” I hug her tight and took a deep breath. I closed my eyes, and let my heartbeat for her.
“However, it's okay for me if you need some time, I'm willing to wait for your answer,” I muttered between my slow breath.
Without wasting some time, I hold her chin and kiss her lips. From the day that I saw her, I still don't know the real me.
I don't have any goals in life not until I met her, she changed me a lot. She taught me what is life, and how to survive in this kind of society.
We were together through hardship, and good times, I want to spend my life with her. I don't want to lose her.
My heart will not be going to accept that, and I won't forgive myself if something bad will happen to her.
She's my everything, I split up our lips and decided to look directly at her eyes. She keeps staring at my eyes without breaking them.
“Actually...” She looked at the ground. I scanned the whole place, and my sight focused on the narrow place.
I hold her hand, and we walk to the narrow space of the room. When we reached the room, I removed her mask.
“Zoe, look at me,” I whispered, I'm holding her face, it's so smooth. Her eyes widened for a few seconds, and her cheeks became pink.
“What's your answer? I'm going disappointed if you decline my request,” I smiled to calm myself.
“I'm... not going to deny it, I like you too, Harvey.” I gasped because of her words. I can't believe we felt the same.
“Really?” My eyes widened, and my heartbeat was like a beating drum. I feel like something is tingling in my stomach.
I hug her once again. At last, we are official! After years of courting, and accompanying her. She's mine!
I closed my eyes, and let myself calm. If this was my dream, I don't want to wake up, because I won't let her go.
At the same time, I decided to glance at her to check her reaction. I love looking at her face and observing her reaction.
She's blushing uncontrollably. All of a sudden, the speaker beeped, and the voice of our teacher was all we can hear.
“Attention, Students! After 10 minutes, the party inside of each room will start, be ready, in addition for the campus officers, strictly don't remove your masks!” the teacher announced.
I shrugged my shoulder when our eyes met. She wears again her mask, and I fixed myself. We should leave this room.
We already left the room. I decided to go to our room to check if everything was fine, and we don't need to worry about them.
“Does everything all set? We should be in a hurry! Double time!” Our classmates set the doll.
I don't know why, but the faces of the dolls are giving me some goosebumps. Sheez, they were so creepy.
Some of them were missing eyes, while some of them are broken heads. They are smiling while having an angelic eye. They were sitting at the side of the table where the visitor can observe our room.
We proceed to the next room, and it's the travel party. The scenes are plane crashes, and there are some survivors, but some of the parts of the airplane were stabbed at their different parts of the body.
I gulped. The surroundings are burning while some of the students were serving the food at their table.
The next is the Clown party. I glimpsed at Zoe, she stopped, and looked at the clown with her knees were trembling.
“Are you alright? We are not going to that room if you're not comfortable,” I stated. She looked at me with a forced smile.
“Nah, it's okay, let's go?” I nodded. The faces of the clowns are different. Some of them were having wide red mouths, but some of them were having a crying eye.
I don't know how to describe it clearly, but all I can say is they have different emotions.
The next is Ghost party, as I expected, they were silent, and they are wearing all white. I shrugged my shoulder.
I don't want to get inside of their room. I immediately hold Zoe's hand, and we went inside the room of the Movie Party.
In my opinion, it's a good idea to watch some movies with her.
