Chapter 61 Meeting her

Two weeks have been passed, and Harvey was able to discharge from the hospital. I'm currently in the kitchen while grating the cheese on the spaghetti.
I've been planning to visit Harvey at their house, and I'm going to bring some food, so we can have some snacks to eat.
I sliced those boiled eggs and put them on the spaghetti. I put the fried fries into the strainer, and serve them into the food container.
At the same time, I poured the strawberry juice into the juice bottle and prepared all the foods that I'm going to bring.
When all the things have been set up, I went to the bathroom to wash. After some time, I fixed my clothes and dried my hair.
I took my phone, and called his phone number, luckily, he answered it immediately.
“Hello? Where are you? Are you busy?” I asked while packing all the important stuff. He replied that he's not busy that much, and he's staying at their house.
I smiled even though he can't see it. The call ended. My mother appeared out of nowhere, and she's crossing her arms again, while her eyebrow was raised.
“Where are you going? Are you going to have fun? Sapphire, can't you see? Instead of having fun with someone, why can't you do or give some good ideas for our business!” I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
“The nerve, Sapphire! How old are you? You're not young anymore, you must know how to handle our business! You should know how to talk to our business partners!” I looked at the ground, and hold the straps of my backpack.
“Look at your grades! You're lack skills and critical thinking! You should focus on the things that can enhance your skills, and mind!” she's always shouting, and demanding my grades.
I don't want to ruin my day, I remained silent as a sign of respect for her. She will not go to listen to my side.
“You're a daughter of the intelligent, and skillful businessman! You're such a disappointment for this family!” I bit my lips to prevent my tears from streaming.
She stumped her feet while walking away from my direction. I sighed, and my shoulder slumped down.
I'm avoiding this kind of scenario just to maintain my good, and cheerful mood. However, it seems like it's slowly getting ruined.
I feel like there are a thousand needles inside my heart. There's a lump in the throat.
Furthermore, I drank some water to avoid being a crybaby. Although, the water couldn't push all the sadness inside of my chest.
She's always like that, even if I got a high grade, she's still mad. If I got some awards, she's still angry.
I don't know where I should go with, or what can I do to make her feel proud and happy. On the other side, my father didn't want to have some time just to talk with me.
To get along with me, or the whole family. I don't know if he's just busy, and he's having a hectic schedule.
He didn't bother to check if I'm fine, or someone is bullying me. Instead of just being proud, he will compare me to his business partner's child.
To be honest, I don't like it. I have some other skills, or I can do something. They are expecting me to do some unbelievable stuff like the daughter or son of their partners.
I want to tell them that I have my talent, who knows if I can do something different from the others.
It's just like, if you can't do that thing, you can still try it, but someone can do it better than yours.
There's a time that you can do better, but someone can't do it properly. The people still have a long journey to explore, and to experience.
Most people had unique skills or talents. It's either based on their experiences or based on the articles that they have already seen.
We should be patience, and wait for the right time. Who knows if someone is still seeking their talents or skills.
You can grow every day and can learn every day from your mistakes, and experiences. I'm not the best person to give some best pieces of advice.
At the same time, all I can say is keep seeking for the better, or best. Continue your journey, just remember that doesn't stop someone's life, and don't control their life.
If they want to be happy, let them be. If they are having some mistakes, let them learn from them. Just don't stereotype someone, you don't know if he or she is doing all his or her best, but you keep judging the person.
All I know is, even though I'm doing all my best just for them. They are still not satisfied with it. They want more.
Sometimes, I'm wondering if they are right or wrong if they are just controlling my life, but on the other hand, it will result in good things.
If I learned their techniques, maybe, I can be a successful person soon, but the one thing that I promised to myself.
I won't force someone to do my expectations, instead, I will expect success, even if the process is too slow or fast.
Just trust the process, and everything will be alright and will be set at a good place. I sighed because of my thoughts.
I decided to walk than ride a car. Not only that, I just don't like to ride.
All of a sudden, the surrounding became cold. I don't know if it's just my senses, or the surrounding just changes the temperature.
I shook my head and focused on the pathway. After 30 minutes of walking, I reached McKenzie's residence.
Finally, I gently pressed the bell button, and wait for a few minutes. No one came, and I pressed it again.
I looked at my wristwatch. After 5 minutes or ten minutes, Mrs. McKenzie went out while smiling.
I smiled from ear to ear, and wave to her, “Good afternoon, Ma'am! I assume that you are Harvey's Mother, nice to meet you,” I greeted.
“Are you one of his friends? Does he's expecting you to come here?” she asked. I looked at the ground, and start to speak softly.
“Ma'am, he didn't know that I'm going to visit him, I brought him some snacks because I'm worried about his health.” His mother giggles.
“What's your name?” I gasped. My heart is going to throw up, but I need to maintain a good attitude.
“I'm Sapphire, one of his friends,” I replied to her question. “Let's get inside, the clear sky before is getting to be dark, I assume that it will be going to rain.”
She opened the gate, and we walked inside the house. She offers me to wait, and sit down. I nodded and gave the foods that I made.
I told her that I'm willing to help when it comes to preparing the food, but she insisted that she can do it, and I'm their visitor.
However, I'm not convinced that I'm just sitting here, so I decided to help them.
A familiar voice reached my ears, “What are you doing here?”
