"Is that so?"
I looked at him and slowly nodded. I wonder why is he asking me something like that. Until now, I'm still wondering. He might have a problem or something?
"Uhm, why did you ask me like that?" I asked.
He looks nervous, there's a beads of sweat on his forehead. "Uhm, I just have a f-friend and he has a problem something... like that. So yeah."
I nodded and look again at the sky. So, iyon pala 'yon. "I feel sorry for him. Maybe, he didn't mean to lie to his girlfriend or maybe he just scared that his girlfriend breaks up with him. What do you think?"
"Both. I think. I don't know." He whispered.
I chuckled and wrapped my arms around his. "Let's just go. Let's sleep. I feel sleepy."
He didn't answer, instead, he just walked as both hands are inside his pocket and my arms are still on his. I also said goodbye to our friends that we were going to sleep and I also told them to go home because what time is it. They just nodded as their mouth are full.
When we got to the unit, Luke went straight to the kitchen while I went straight to the bathroom. I want to take a quick shower before go to bed. When I finished, I just wore a blue terno sleepwear.
"Are you going to sleep now?" Luke asked me when he entered our room.
I nodded. "Yeah, how 'bout you?"
"Later. I have something important to do." He chuckled because I pouted like a kid. He walked towards me and put his both arms on both of my sides as his face is slowly come closer and closer to me.
"Don't worry, I will sleep next to you." He kissed me on my lips.
He was about to leave my lips but I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck and kiss him more. We also slowly lying down on the bed. Few minutes had passed, I felt his right hand touching my abdomen down to my thigh. And his left hand is caressing my face down to my neck.
I slipped my hands inside his T-shirts and touched his abs. Hmm! I was about to take his shirt off when he suddenly held my hand, stopping me. He also stop kissing me. My brows furrowed and glared at him.
"That's enough. Maybe where else will it go." The side of his lips rose first before he kissed me once again and then he left the room.
I admit it, that's hanging. But on the other hand I feel so special, I feel so lovely, I feel so crucial, it makes me think that he won't want to take advantage of me because he respects me. He respects me so much, he respects me as a woman, he respects my femininity.
I really have nothing more to ask for. I went to bed and slept with a smile on my face.
When I woke up, I felt something heavy on my stomach, so I opened my eyes and I saw luke, sleeping peacefully. A smile placed on my lips. I slowly removed his arm and went to the bathroom to take a shower. When I finished fixing myself, I immediately went to the kitchen to cook our breakfast. And that is what I did.
"You're awake. Come, let's eat," I said happily when I saw him walking in towards my direction.
"You cooked all of this?" I nodded and placed the plates before sat down on the chair next to him. I cooked adobo and spaghetti. I will put these two on the ref. later.
We started eating and we didn't talk because our mouths are full. He seemed to enjoy my cooking. Well, that's good! And until now, I'm still thinking, what are we going to do now? I mean, I have plans but I don't know if he has.
"What do you want to do this week? We're free." I suddenly choked because of what he asked.
I grabbed the glass of water and drank it. "What? I mean, I have plans." I smiled widely and he just chuckled.
He took something from his pocket and showed it to me. My eyes widened when I realized that the piece of paper he was holding is mine. How did he get that? Where? When? I grabbed it from his hand.
"How did you get this?" I asked.
The side of his lips rose. "Secret!" My brows furrowed, he giggled. "Anyway, we will do everything written there."
My face brightens up. "Really? All of these things? " He nodded.
"So, hurry up and get dress. Okay?" I nodded. He left me here happy. I hastened my meal and then hurried to the bedroom to take a shower and fix myself, but before that I rested for a few minutes.
When I finished taking a shower, Luke took another shower. And when I finished getting dressed, he just came out of the bathroom. I just wore simple jeans and floral off-shoulder with my white sling bag and my ankle boots.
"Number 1, check! Number 2, check!" I said while checking the piece of paper I was holding.
"Will you stop? You checked there over and over again," He said. I pouted before putting a piece of paper inside my bag.
"Where are we going next?" I asked but he didn't answer, instead, he just winked at me as his lips slowly rose. What's with him?
Until we finally reached our destination, which is the zoo. There are only a few people so we don't have a hard time getting in, because sometimes when there are a lot of people coming here, it is crowded.
That's what we did! We walked around the zoo, we took pictures with the animals, we also took care of them for a while, as I requested. We also help some of the staff feed the animals. After the zoo, we just ate at the nearest fast food.
After we ate, next we went to the playdium bowling center in Quezon City. Honestly, I don’t know how to play it, I don’t really know.
"Do you know how to play it?" He asked as we got inside.
I shook my head. "I just want to try it." I pouted.
He laughed a little so I frowned. Is he laughing at me? Is it funny if I don't really know how to play it? Huh? That's why I want to come here because I want to learn at least a little.
He took two balls and handed me one. "Okay! I'll teach you. Come closer to me."
So that's what we did! When I first rolled the ball over to the pins, only two fell. In the second, I only knocked down twice. As for Luke, all his pins are always knocked down. 10/10. I envy him! I did not know that he knew how to play it. Then he laughed at me before because I always only fell two, so I threw the ball at him. Until we ended up on the rocky ball, we also spent a few minutes playing that game. We just stopped because the guard scolded us, it was our noise.
After that, we decided to go home because it was getting late. I also feel tired.
The next day, we did the same thing again, we ate breakfast together and then prepared ourselves and left again. We only did a 2 or 3 hours tour in Rizal park and Fort Santiago, we only spent a little time in Fort Santiago because we took more photos as a reminder that we came here together. After that, we ate lunch and then we went to the museum, it took longer because we really take around the whole museum and then we slowed down our walk and then we also took pictures.
On the next day, and the next next day, and the next next next day, we did the same thing again. That seemed like a routine for us for a week. We just followed what was written on the paper. Take a walk here, take a walk there. However, I'm still happy because I'm with him.
"Are you satisfied? Are you happy?" Luke asked.
I looked at him and smiled widely before slowly nodded. We just ordered pizza and we just started eating snacks right now. It was another Sunday and we were resting because we were really tired.
We just came home this afternoon from Boracay, we just stayed there for two days. We should have come home this morning but it was just delayed. So here we are, tired.
"Why are you asking?" I asked while my mouth is still full.
He chuckled. "Nothing! You know, I've been confused these past few days."
I stopped eating and looked at him as my brows furrowed. "About what?" I asked.
He smirked. "I am confused why I love you so much, even though I knew a lot of beautiful and famous women who are even more beautiful than you. So why you?"
It makes me shut up. What does he mean by that? He doesn't love me anymore so that's why he is saying to me like that. Is that so?
I raised my brow."Well... Because I'm unique!"
He laughed. "Unique? Seriously? Where is it?"
"Are you trying to annoy me? Huh? Well, you did well!" I rolled my eyes and turned my back on him.
"Hey don't be mad! I'm just saying what I think. You should be happy because I was honest with you." He let out a small laughed and then hugged me from the back.
I faced him. "So I really should be happy because of that? Huh?" He immediately shook his head.
I touched both of her cheeks and suddenly pinched them. He tried to remove my hand but I tightened my grip even more. But after a few seconds, I let go of his cheek.
"That's what you get when you keep annoying me when I'm not in the mood! Tsk!" I stood up and picked up my phone and checked what time it is.
It's already 3:10 pm so I decided to take a quick shower because it's cold for heaven's sake. Anyway, I want to get my belongings from the house because I am moving to our condo today, I need to move to the condo before the end of this day.
Moreover, Luke already knew about this, he would even take me to the house and to the condo as well. Somehow, we were able to complete what I had written on the paper before. From tomorrow, we will be busy with our studies, because we will definitely do more now.
When I finished fixing myself, I went out to the room. Luke is already waiting for me from the living room. I stopped. I noticed his cheeks, it is still red until now but this time, isn't obvious anymore. I feel guilty.
"Let's go?" I didn't move. Did he think I wouldn't notice that he was just forcing himself to smile? I approached him and I was about to touch his cheeks when he suddenly stepped back. I looked at him intently.
Then, I finally touched his face lightly and kissed both of his cheeks that I pinched earlier. I think I pinched him too much.
"There. Does it still hurt?" I asked but he just shook his head and then smiled. He kissed me on my forehead and he also intertwined our hands.
Until we get out and while he drives he doesn’t remove the grip on my hand. I feel so important.
"Won't you take that away? We might be cause an accident." I told him but he just smirked and winked at me. He also kissed the back of my palms while driving.
I just let him do what he wants, I can't stop him from being like that. I just looked outside the car window.
Sometimes I really don’t get what my boyfriend’s mood is. He often teases or annoys me, sometimes he woke up in the morning in a bad mood, sometimes he is sweet, just like this. So confusing.
But still, I love him more than myself. And about what he asked me on new year, I noticed that his friend did not really have a problem with what he asked me.
I was confused, I was nervous, I was scared for a reasons I did not know. Just when he asked me that, I was suddenly scared and... I didn't really know. I could not find the right words to describe how I felt that day.
But maybe, it's just nothing. It's just part of my freaking imagination and curiosity.
