"You know, maybe the police's eyes were blurred," Luke said while his eyes were closed.
I looked up at his close eyes. "You know what, you are so choosy. Don't you like it? We're cute together according to him. And, am I ugly in your eyes?"
"No," he opened his eyes and look directly into my eyes. "But you're not beautiful either."
I parted my lips out of shock. I held my chest where my heart was and acted hurt by what he just said. "Oh my god! It hurts my feelings."
"Whatever." He exclaimed and looked at the other direction.
I pouted while still treating the bruise on the side of his lips. He's excessively theatrical, huh? He's not even that handsome.
I did not talk after that. I just continued to treat his bruises. We are here in his condo, I don't know why he doesn't want me to just treat his bruises outside. He said it was better for us to just be here for our safety. But that's okay, at least I know now where he is staying. It's easy for me to see him all the time because I think, I can stay here on weekends.
"There, it's done." I stood up and gather everything and put the medical kit to the place where I got this earlier.
I sat down next to him. I picked up the T.V remote because I plan to watch Netflix, even though I haven't been able to let him know if I can use it. But before I could open it, I felt hungry so I stopped. I haven't had lunch yet. I pouted.
I looked at Luke and I caught him staring at me but he immediately looked away like it's just nothing. He also bit his lower lip.
"Do you have some food?" I asked as I hold my tummy.
He didn't answer, instead, he look at the kitchen. I got it! I sighed and stood up and went to the kitchen to check if he has food. But, there's nothing makes me frowned.
I come back to the sofa with a sad face. When it's related to the food, I will never be in shame though it's really embarrassing to ask someone if they has a food. Besides, it's his fault that's why I haven't eat lunch yet. I'm so hungry.
I looked at the balcony just near us, seeing the blue sky turned into an orange makes me feel more hungry. I didn't notice that it was getting dark outside. 
"You didn't eat lunch, right?" He asked without looking at me.
I nodded a little. "Isn't obvious?"
He took a deep breath before picking up his phone. My eyes widened when I realized he has ordering some food for us. It was embarrassing. But on the other hand, happy because he doesn't like that I'm feeling hungry. I smiled automatically. 
"What did you order?" I asked when he put down the phone from his ear.
"Food of course," he said. I frowned and I just rolled my eyes.
He stood up and went to the balcony. And he crossed his arm in front of his chest, and then faced me. "It's getting dark! What time you'll go home?"
"Are you telling me to go home now? You're the one who brought me here!" I pouted after I said that.
"Psh, you-" he suddenly stopped because someone rang the doorbell. Maybe, his ordered arrived and I was right! It's our food.
While he was busy preparing our foods, I took my phone and I texted Claire. I said I might be late coming home now, and she replied 'Okay. Take your time'. Weird!
Sometimes they will get angry when I come home late or they will ask me why I came home late. But now... It's different. It's new.
"Done!"
We ate immediately, we didn't talk or even look at each other anymore because he was busy with his phone and I was busy with my food. He had a smile while typing and then he was also a bit far from me so I couldn't see who he was chatting with. He obviously didn’t want to show up.
I quickly finished my meal and then washed the dishes I used. After that, I was just on the sofa watching Netflix. And Luke was still busy with his phone. This is so annoying! But something came up to my mind.
I smirked, planning something ridiculous. "Are you done chatting with someone, babe?" I asked.
He nodded without looking at me. "Yes, Babe! Wait a minute."
He suddenly stopped when he realized what he just said. He bit his lower lip to stop himself from smiling so wide and he did. He looked at me and I just smiled at him. Nakakatuwa pala siyang asarin.
"Uhm... S-sorry," he looked away, can't look at me.
"Why are you saying sorry, babe?" I really emphasize the word 'babe'.
"Uh... S-stop calling me that, babe..." He's blushing. Oh my god! I giggled and without thinking pinched his cheeks.
"Babe you know, you are so cute when you're blushing," I said that made him blushing darker.
"I... I did not blush." He stuttered making me chuckled.
"You did. And you still are." I laughed as hard.
"No!"
"Whatever. Look at the mirror so you can see yourself."
He followed what I said, he looked in the mirror to look at himself. I just chuckled, he looks so cute really! When he saw that I was right, he calmed himself before sitting down next to me again.
"Let's just watch movies together." I approached him and leaned my head on his shoulder, I wrapped my arm around his arm.
And that's exactly what we did, we just watched on Netflix what we could see there. Just a few hours ago, I felt sleepy that I should not feel now because...
OMG!
When I woke up the next day, my eyes immediately widened and I looked around the room, I was suddenly nervous. But when I remembered what happened last night, I immediately calmed down. I thought I was kidnapped by someone.
I got up and went straight to the bathroom to fix myself. When I came out of the room, I didn't see him. Luke's shadow was not there, I also checked in the kitchen, in the living area but he was not there, maybe he already left. I was about to leave but something caught my attention, a note that was attached to the center table. I picked it up and read, then I just found out that this note was for me.
I cooked you a food, it was on the dining table. It's up to you whether you eat it or not. After that, leave my condo!

I smiled even though it looked like he was rugged. I went to the dining area to eat.After a minute, I left because I'm sure Claire and the others are looking for me because I didn't come home last night.I also left a post-it-note written is ‘Thanks!’.
When I arrived at our condo, I did not see any of them. I took a deep breathe then went straight to the bedroom and took a shower. I also charged my phone because it was dead last night. After taking a bath, I decided to go to sleep because I had nothing else to do.
It was five o'clock when I woke up because of the loud noise outside my room. I got up and went out of my room. There, I saw my friends laughing.
"Hey," I said while I was still rubbing my eyes.
"Goodmorning, girl!" They greeted me at the same time.
"I'm sorry I didn't come home last night." I sat on the sofa, in the middle of them.
"It's okay. Luke did message us last night." I suddenly looked at Anne.
"What?" I blurted out and she just nodded.
"It's true," Roxie said while eating ice cream.
"He said last night, you can't go home because you fell asleep. He tries to wake you up but you are really asleep." Alice rolled her eyes after she said.
I shrugged. "I didn't mean to fell asleep there." They just shrugged and smirked at the same time.
I rolled my eyes. I know what are they thinking. My god! We just talked nonsense things for a while. After that, we ate dinner then at the same time went straight to the bedroom to go to sleep.
They fell asleep quickly, and here I am, wide awake. I want to sleep but I can't. I took my phone from the bedside table then scrolled down at FB, then when I had nothing to share, I opened my Instagram.
But I suddenly remembered something. I searched his name on Instagram, then I saw his account, I clicked on it and it looks famous. No! He's really famous! I smiled for no apparent reason.

He's really interesting. He really caught my attention though he ignored me on the first day we met.
I shook my head and sighed heavily before I tap the message button.
avablaire: Uhm hi, are you still awake?
I waited a few minutes before I received his reply.
lkvergara: Yes. You wake me up!
avablaire: Luh? Why me?
lkvergara: because you message me! Isn't obvious?
avablaire: Duh! You can choose not to reply! Why did you reply?
I waited again, a minute, two, three, four, five, but he didn't reply. I just put my phone away and forced myself to sleep.
The next day, it was so very stressful, I didn't know that there was a meeting yesterday. Sunday meeting. I just talked to our president if can I attend to the next meeting because I felt bad yesterday, it's really good that they believe in me.
"Zamora!" I looked at the coach, who called me.
"Coach!" I approached him. "What's up, coach?" I asked.
"Next month is the swimming competition. And I want you to know that next week is the start of our training." He said. That fast?
"Next week right away, coach?" I asked in shock. "That fast?" I asked and he nodded.
"That's right," he shrugged. "So, you have one week to do everything you want. Because next week we will be busier. Understood?"
I just nodded and then sighed before he finally left.
I forgot that the swimming competition was also near and only now did I remember. I would have planned not to join this year but, I don't want to disappoint them, our coaches. We have 2 coaches, female and male. And they're so good at teaching us.
One week? What will I do in a week?
I just walked to the parking lot. I don't have a class anymore so I'll just go home. So sad, I have no one to be with in our condo. Claire and Anne have a date. Lev wasn't in the condo, I don't know where she is. Alice and Roxie are in their boyfriend's condo. And me, lonely.
I got on and drove home to the condo but suddenly, I stopped the car because something came out of my mind. I took out my phone from my bag and then I message him.
avablaire: Are you there at your condo?
He replied immediately. Wow! That was unexpected.
lkvergara: Yes.
avablaire: You just got home?
lkvergara: Yes.
avablaire: Did you eat your lunch?
lkvergara: Yes.
What's wrong with him? He's really annoying, huh?
avablaire: Can I go there?
lkvergara: Yes.
avablaire: Why the fvck your answers is always yes? What's wrong with you?
avablaire: Do you have a crush on me?
The last one was just a joke. I chuckled after I tap the send button and I was so shock when he replied.
lkvergara: Yes.
"What the?" I said because of shock. I didn't reply and just drove my car to his condo.
I think I know now where I will stay for a week. Maybe, he won't refuse me, right? Besides, I have extra clothes in the backseat now so, I don't have to bother with that. I'm always ready!
When I arrived, I immediately went to the Elevator. But too many people lined up. Is it broken? Or is it really just a lot of people waiting? Aish!
I have no choice but to use the stairs. Luke's unit is on the 12th floor. I took a deep breathe before stepping up the stairs. Well not that bad, I can also exercise for incoming swimming competition.
When I got to the 12th floor, I gasped as I walked over to his unit. So tiring.
When I was in front of the door of his unit, I leaned my forehead against the door to breathe a little. When I was pretty okay then I knocked, but I knocked a few times, no one opened.
Don't tell me he leave his condo because he knew that I was coming? I sighed. I knocked a few times again but no one opened it. I sighed. For the last time, I had my fist up like I was about to knock when the door suddenly opens. Thank god!
But damn! My eyes widened and my lips parted as well when I looked at him, my gaze slowly become lower from his head to toe. I looked up at him again. He is currently wiping his wet hair using the towel around his neck. He's half-naked.
"Oh! You're here?" He asked like he didn't know that I'm going here and as if he didn't see that I was sweating right now.
"Y-yeah," I whispered as I slowly nodded. I take a gulp and trying to take my eyes away from his body.
"Why are you here?" He asked suddenly.
"Maybe, I need to go home now. I should... come again next time," I said, ignoring his question.
I turned around and was about to walk when he suddenly took my hand. I looked at his hand before looked up at him. He stared at me for a long time to the point that I couldn't take it anymore so I averted my eyes.
He sighed. "Stay. Please stay," He said in a low but baritone voice without taking his eyes off me.
