"Yes! He's my boyfriend!"
I choked on drinking water when I suddenly heard Anne's voice from the living room. I wiped my mouth with the back of my palm then went to them. It was another monday and we all just came home from school except Anne. She went to her boyfriend's condo that's why she didn't go to school earlier.
When I sat down next to Alice, I only noticed a man next to Anne. Maybe, that was her boyfriend. He looks kind and cheerful.
"Is he your boyfriend, Anne?" I asked Anne as I pointed to the man next to her.
"Yes." She smiled. "Guys, this is my boyfriend, Adi. Adi, they're my friends."
"Hi, Adi!" We said all at once.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you all." He smiled a little, obviously shy.
"I thought you would introduce him when I came back here? A week has passed but you just brought him here today." I chuckled.
That was what she said last Monday. But, that's okay, I don't want to pressure her to introduce her boyfriend to us right away.
"We are sorry about that. We are both kinda busy last week," She said and looked away.
"Yeah, okay. Okay. That's fine! Adi, welcome to Anne's world. I hope you will " I smiled at both of them.
"Wow. Are you trying to annoy me, Blaire." Anne laughed sarcastically and I just shrugged.
"So..." I stood up. "I'll just take a nap. Enjoy!"
After that, I went to our room just to take a nap. I'm not feeling well since this morning and I don't know why. I feel sick right now and I just don't want to tell them because it might be a disturbance to them.
When I entered the room, I immediately lay down on the bed and covered myself with a thick comforter. I don't know why I've been feeling bad since this morning. I always felt dizzy but sometimes, my body feel both cold and hot at the same time. Oh my god!
I heard the door opened by someone so I removed the comforter wrapped around me to see who it was. Then I saw Anne and Roxie. I immediately sat down as they sat on the edge of my bed and smiled.
"Are you okay?" Roxie asked worriedly.
I laughed naturally. "Of course. Do I look not okay?" I lied.
I don't want them to worry about me anymore. I also don't want anyone to worry about me too much. I always think that I might be bothering them. Besides, I can do this alone, it's just a fever. I'm probably not going to die of fever, am I?
Anne was about to apply her hand to my forehead but I stopped her immediately.
"I'm fine. Come on! Don't worry about me. Okay?" I smiled fakely.
Anne rolled her eyes at me. "Fine! Fine!"  They sighed and stood up ready to leave.
"Just call us when you need something, Okay?" They both said at once.
I turned my face into serious expression. "Yes, Madam Roxie! Yes, Madam Anne!" I chuckled after I saluted at them.
After that, they left the room so I could breathe easily, and at the same time, my body fell on the bed. My head hurt even more because of them. Maybe, I need to take medicine for the fever, so that tomorrow I will not have a headache and fever as well.
I closed my eyes to take a nap but suddenly my phone rang. I rolled my eyes before picking up my phone on the side table. I smiled when I saw who was calling. It was Luke so I answered it immediately without thinking.
"Hey," I looked at the ceiling and smiled.
["How are you?"] He asked, obviously worried over his voice. I don't know why, he doesn't know that I'm not feeling well.
I chuckled. "I'm fine! We just met and talked earlier, right?"
["Yes, that's right. I'm just being paranoid by something I can't explain."]
My brows furrowed. "Why? You can tell me everything so we can figure it out together."
["I don't know. It's nothing. Maybe, I just missed you."] I imagined his face, looks so happy.
I was shocked and I could not speak immediately, I didn't know how I would feel. I swear, there's something wrong with him. It's not the same as before. I mean, he's not mean or rude to me anymore, he's showing me another signal.
["Hey! Are you still there?"]
"Y-yes. W-why would you miss me, you just took me home, right? You're always picking me up at the university and then take me home right after."
["Yes. I don't know why I've always miss you."] His voice is always serious. Nothing's changed.
"Hey, luke! You have been doing this for almost a week. Don’t you think I might think differently?" I said. I hugged the pillow on my side.
["I don't care. Think what you want to think, maybe that's just the way it is.]
"What do you mean? I'm not assuming something but you know what, I'm thinking that you want to court me by doing this."]
["So wh-"] what he was going to say was cut off because the line suddenly died.
I was just shaken by my head and then I put my phone back on the side table. My smile remained on my lips. I can't help but smile. I closed my eyes, trying to sleep but it didn't happen.
Luke picks me up and takes me home every day. Isn't he tired? I mean, he goes to university every day to take me home after his class. It’s exhausting to drive that far every day. Duh! Sometimes, I just think that maybe he is courting me even though I know that is impossible. Very impossible to happen.
After a couple of minutes, I feel drowsiness visiting me so I immediately fell asleep.
I woke up because of the sunlight hitting my face. I immediately covered myself with a thick comforter so I could sleep again but it never happened.
I removed the comforter that covered me then tried to sit on the bed first but my head hurt, I suddenly felt dizzy causing me to lie down on the bed again. I sighed. What is this? Why my eyes feels so hot like it wants to cry?
I tried to sit up again even though my head really hurt, I touched my head and it suddenly ached like it was being torn. This is so hard for Pete's sake. I thought this is just easy but it's not, especially that I'm not used to take care of myself when I'm sick. My mom always do everything when I'm sick but she's not here.
I saw a glass of water and then a note attached to the glass. I took the glass to get the note and read it.
We know that when you are sick, you eat straight away. So we remind you that you need to brush your teeth and clean your face using a clean water before eating. Go to the bathroom and clean yourself first. Take care!

I shook my head a little bit and smiled. They really know me. Well, they're my best friends since Elementary. I got up then went straight to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth as well.
When I got out of the bathroom, I approached my bed and took the comforter to wrap around my body because it was cold, very cold.
I left the room and went to the kitchen to cook my breakfast. But something caught my attention again. I approached the dining table and there was a cover in the middle and then there was a post-it-note as well. Again? I took the post-it-note and read it.
We know that you don't want us to cook for you when you are sick, so just think that we did not cook this breakfast for you. NOT US! And take care of yourself, my pretty sister.

Fine. Chicken soup, hot lemon tea, oranges, medicine, and one glass of water with a note. Those were the ones I saw when I opened the... What do you call it again? Just, covering! I took the note attached to the glass and read it.
We know that you don't want us to know that you have a fever now, so just think we didn't give this medicine, okay? And take care.

I took a deep breath then started sipping on the hot tea. It tastes good. After that, I also started sipping on the chicken soup. It tastes good, too. I have a chef now. I took the medicine after I ate.
I feel a little better now, I'm not too dizzy anymore but it's still cold even though the weather is hot. And I don't know why I seem to be crying like my tears are falling without my permission. It shouldn't be like this.
I shook my head and then I went to the bathroom in the bedroom. I decided to take a bath because I feel hot now, my whole body is sweating profusely. But before I could take off my clothes, something caught my attention again.
I approached the sliding glass door of the shower area and took the post-it-note there then read it.
We know that after you eat, you will take a bath. So, we remind you that you are not allowed to take a bath because you have a fever. Don't be hard-headed! Just take a half-bath. Don't wet your head and back! You should listen to us, Blaire. It's for yourself, not for us. Take care. Loveyou.

I have no choice but to take a half-bath. I looked around. I just noticed that our bathroom is beautiful.
There are many places in my bathroom that can be described in better detail. It has chrome handles and a chrome waterspout. On the side of the sink is placed a vase with flowers. On the white counter, there is nothing but the pearly sink that is embedded into the countertop, there is only one thing and that is the vase with flowers. To the left of the sink is the wooden cabinet, where bathrobes, extra towels, extra soap, extra shampoo, extra toothbrush and toothpaste, and so on are placed. To the right of the sink, there is a shower area surrounded by a glass wall. The next area is the toilet area. This area has one toilet and a toilet paper rack next to it for easy access. Across from the toilet is the gigantic tub. This area has a blue shower curtain which covers up the off-white tiles. The tub is white and has a chrome showerhead, chrome handles, and a chrome plug to take baths. Those are most of the details of my bathroom.
I took a quick half-bath and after that, I just wore a terno sleepwear. When I finished, I took the comforter and wrapped it around my body before went out of the room and go to the kitchen again.
I was about to wash the plates I used when I saw a piece of the note attached to the faucet. I sighed before took it and read it.
We know you will wash those plates you used, so we tell you not to do that anymore. Leave that there. Okay? We all know you well than anyone, Blaire.

Aish! It's annoying. Then, what should I do right now. I don't want to just lying on the bed the whole day. It's more tiring.
I rolled my eyes in the air before went into the living area. I hope this time, there will never a piece of note for me. But my thought was wrong.
I know you are planning to do it, so I am here to tell you not to focus too much on watching on Netflix, it might hurt your eyes and make you dizzy again. You are so hard-headed that's why you are not feeling well.

They are very worried about me, they all have a note to remind me, huh? Really? I rolled my eyes in the air before opened the T.V and watched Netflix.
After a few minutes, I heard a knocked on the door so I panicked a little. I stood up then I peeked at the peephole first so I could find out who was outside. I was surprised to find out who was waiting for the door to open.
I put my hand on my chest because my heartbeat suddenly quickened. He immediately looked up at me when I opened the door.
And I noticed that he looked like he came from school before coming here because he was still carrying his bag and his hair was a bit messy and he was wearing a facemask, but I could see the concern in his eyes.
I was surprised when he slowly hugged me causing me to back away a little. It's like he's so tired and resting on me by hugging me.
"I'm worried about you, even if it's just a fever, someone should still take care of you," he said calmly. He let go of me but he stared at me directly into my eyes.
"And I should be the only one to do that. You understand?" I blinked. "Blaire, do you understand?" I immediately nodded when his voice change a little bit.
