Many people have become addicted to gambling. Of course, who would be able to miss out on the immense fun that comes with being uncertain? Gambling has always been an interesting thing in human life. Human beings love challenges, no matter if they are weak or strong. Challenges are always a spicy seasoning that will be loved. Especially when risking something for a big prize, it will be even more interesting if you hold a sense of misfortune in your hand. It's a great feeling. It feels like gambling with your eyes closed. It sounds like a fool going too far. Like not thinking about risk. But then again, gambling with your eyes closed is much more thrilling and fun than with your eyes open. *** Justice must always be served blindfolded. Often, the power of justice is broken. The power to weigh everything fairly and get equal treatment is often broken by other forces. Power often makes justice broken and undermined. "Do you believe in justice?" asked Fallen of the small boy sitting proudly in front of her. "I believe more in uncertainty. Is there a single human being in this world who can be sure where his footsteps will go every time he wakes up from his sleep?" the little boy replied. Fallen smiled slightly. "I like your words. You always give me answers that many people would not expect. I am honored by your answer." Fallen knew and believed that the little boy in front of her was the embodiment of uncertainty, fear, disaster, and misfortune. The little boy smiled sarcastically. "What brings you here?" he asked with a haughty tone of voice. "Curiosity?" Fallen herself returned the smile no less slyly. "Can you tell me?" The question sounded more like a challenge. The little boy laughed. It was clear from his voice that he was mocking with his cute voice, typical of children who had not yet reached puberty. Not to be outdone, Fallen laughed too. Without knowing the exact reason, why she was laughing at the same thing was uncertain. "You greedy son of a bitch! Going to jump through time as well as different dimensions. Rummaging through all the things you shouldn't need to know just to fulfill your desires You're no worse than a beast living wild," the boy said with a mocking look on his face. Fallen felt no offense. Even in her heart, she agreed with him. To her, the little boy was just giving an honest answer. There was no bad feeling in her to deny all that. "You're not angry?" The little boy stared at Fallen intently, as if he were about to pounce on her. "Did you expect that I would be angry with you? Huft... dear, instead of feeling angry, I feel very honored by your words just now. You're great at judging others," Fallen said sincerely. "Your words sound more like insults to my ears. You seem to be good at sarcasm in a subtle way, isn't that right?" challenged the little boy. "Those words never have any proper justification. I don't mind how you would perceive it. I said it sincerely," said Fallen, ending with a faint smile. "Damn." The little boy again smiled mockingly. "Your curiosity is a disaster for others. I am telling you of the coming darkness." "A disaster?" The look on her face turned slightly more serious than before. Catching a hint of change from the look on the Fallen's face, the little boy looked pleased. "I don't usually get that kind of look from you. Are you afraid to face anything outside of your plan?" "A little... I must admit that I feel scared." Fallen looked at the little boy with her characteristic gaze. "You must feel happy, finally being able to see this fear in me," she complained. "You should have that, shouldn't you?" The little boy looked down at Fallen. "Because you are only human and have limits. Never try to expect more than you can handle as a human." "Thank you. You always remind me of my existence in this world, just as a human. Never more or less." She then extended her hand to the little boy. "Take me to that dark reality." The little boy took Fallen's hand and threw it into a deep, dark pit. "Meet and seek the truth among the darkness." After that, everything happened very quickly. It was as if the conversation that took place had never happened before. *** People who want to know darkness have fallen into it themselves. Whoever wants to know ugliness never realizes that the ugliness is in his own eyes. The act of knowing the secrets of the future is tantamount to self-destruction. "Is there anything you want to know about the truth itself?" the little boy asked the figure that passed in front of him. "Huh? Excuse me, but boy, isn't it dangerous to talk to a stranger like this? Where is your home? What are you doing out in the rain like this?" Halb himself was surprised to find a child suddenly reprimanding him like this. "Don't you want to know the truth?" he asked once more. Halb frowned; he was at a loss as to how to respond. After all, his current instincts were telling him to immediately stay away from the little boy. But there was a pity in his heart that made him unable to leave the child alone in the heavy rain. She ignored her fear. "I don't understand your question. But do you want me to take you home? It's not good to linger in the pouring rain like this, especially by yourself," Halb offered sincerely. He observed the little boy; from his outward appearance, he looked nothing unusual. He was just a boy, wearing a yellow raincoat, and had a pitiable expression on his face. But despite his appearance, which did not look intimidating at all, the aura possessed by the little boy was very intimidating. "Aren't you interested in knowing the truth?" The little boy always asked the same question. It was obvious that he wanted to find out from Halb. "I will tell you. But for now, will you come with me? We can talk there." Halb pointed towards a small teahouse located across the street. "Come with me." Halb took the little boy's hand, grasped it tightly, and led him away with him. The little boy smiled wryly as he did not reply but followed Halb. Letting Halb take him away.
