"I don't know if I can come up with a good reason myself. Even if I told you that my words just now were sincere, I'm sure you wouldn't believe me. It will all come back to you too," I replied.
"You gave an ambiguous answer." Nakamori looked like she was no longer interested in the conversation. "Where's your restroom?" He rose to his feet and looked around for the toilet.
"Over there. You just walk straight there. Just look for the black door," I told him, telling him where he should go.
"Thank you," he said, and he walked in the direction I had pointed.

Dark. How strange is it that it's still daytime? Not only that, I felt like asking, Why did my head suddenly hurt so much? It feels like my head has been hit hard by something. Was there an earthquake?
I hurriedly got up and immediately took a look around me. Nothing had changed. I was still in my room. Nakamori wasn't there, but I was sure he was in the restroom and still hadn't returned. This was so strange. Nothing happened, but why does it feel so awkward? I have a bad feeling too. It was as if I sensed a frightening figure.
Suddenly there was a shrill scream that was so distinctive. The scream came from the direction of the toilet. I reflexively ran towards it. I was afraid something bad would happen to the girl.
Arriving at the bathroom, I found Nakamori, who looked like she might be scared. I'm not sure if I'd call her scared because the look on her face was too flat. But I had a feeling that she was scared.
"What's wrong?" I asked frantically. "You're not hurt?"
Nakamori pointed with his index finger to one corner. I followed the direction he pointed and found a strange figure that had no discernible form.
"What the hell is this?" I took a step back and could sense that there was great danger looming. I grabbed Nakamori's hand and led her to run with me. Avoiding the creepy figure I feel scared now.
Nakamori and I ran away from the figure. Suddenly, something unexpected happened. In front of the two of us, a huge black wall appeared. The wall was blocking both of us from passing the path in front of us.
"He's approaching!" screeched Nakamori. Even though she was screeching and frightened, her face was still too flat.
I looked back and confirmed what Nakamori had said was true. The horrifying black shadow was chasing us; it approached us and opened its mouth wide as if it were going to devour us with its mouth.
Damn! This has gone too far. Sooner or later, we would both be caught and devoured. There was no chance of escape. The wall in front was completely blocking both of us.
It was only right that there was no escape. The shadow devoured us both. It greedily swallowed us like lumps of meat. I never thought that my life would end like this. Without being able to put up the slightest resistance.

"Saeran... Saeran... Saeran!" someone kept calling my name.
I slowly opened my eyes. It felt very heavy. I struggled to open my eyes and found Nakamori's figure trying to wake me up.
"What's going on? Where are the two of us?" I tried to get up, but my whole body hurt like hell. Especially my back felt like it was hit so hard.
"I don't know either. But it looks like we're stuck somewhere unfamiliar. Take a look around you; doesn't it look like a disused laboratory?" she said.
"Maybe," I replied simply. I still couldn't digest all of this properly.
"Look at that tube!" Nakamori told me.
I turned my head toward the tube and found a figure with a strange shape inside the tube.
"Doesn't that look like a human? Ah, or is it a corpse?" Nakamori said. "Want to take a closer look?"
I followed the girl to see what the figure inside the tube looked like. And sure enough, just like she said, I found an almost decomposed human body inside.
"There's one more. Take a look!" Nakamori tugged on my hand, leading me to one of the other tubes.
"Isn't this too much?" Looking at the contents of the canisters, which were not much different from before, made me wonder about human morals.
In one of the tubes, there was a human body that was in a condition similar to a corpse that was almost destroyed by decomposition. But strangely, the human body seemed to be attached to strange machines. There were many wires attached to the body.
"Looks like he's still breathing. Could these people be human experimentation objects?" Nakamori looked quite serious while observing the figure. Instead of being scared, he seemed quite enthusiastic and curious.
"It's possible," I replied simply. I didn't understand if this was, in fact, a failed experiment. It's possible, but this is too terrifying. Could they be zombies?
"We better get out of here!" I turned to Nakamori, telling her to get out of there as soon as possible. It was too dangerous to linger here.
Nakamori agreed, after which we both left this strange place.

There are many rooms inside this room. I was really curious: how could the two of us be transported to a strange place like this while we were previously in my house?
"This doesn't make sense; how could we be here? I can't digest any of this," I complained desperately. No matter how many times I thought about it, it didn't make sense. I didn't even know where we were right now.
"I'm much more curious about the strange figure that swallowed us earlier. It seems like he's the one who brought us to this place." Nakamori looked a little lost in thought; perhaps he was still thinking about that strange figure. "Hey, did you guess what that strange creature was?" He didn't seem to panic and still had time to think calmly about the strange creature.
"I don't know either," I replied quickly. In a way, I was grateful that Nakamori didn't show too much fear. It made me feel a little relieved that I hadn't gotten carried away with panic. To be honest, I'm pretty bad under pressure myself. If the person I was with at this crucial time showed excessive fear, it could have provoked me.
"Don't be afraid... I think we can find a way out," Nakamori said, trying to calm me down.
Hearing her words just now made me feel a little embarrassed. It seemed like the girl was sensitive and quite understanding of my current situation. Somehow her words just now reminded me of a classic drama scene.
