Mayumi is waiting patiently at the station for Rokuhiko and Shihou. Her father said Rokuhiko would be here with some luggage. Both his and hers, so maybe that's why he's taking his time so much. She is about to go and find a restroom because she feels something wrong with her when she sees a familiar face; she recognizes it as Isami Shihou. She walked toward him, asking why her father wanted her to go to the Isami estate.
"Seichi-san didn't tell you?!" Shihou asks, surprised that he didn't explain to her the reason why she's here in the first place.
"Yeah! Ah, and I'm going to the restroom for a bit! Just wait for Rokuhiko here! He has my luggage!" She said and runoff.
He stands there waiting and wondering why Amagi Seichi didn't explain the reason to his daughter and why he wanted her to go to his house, maybe because he doesn't want to explain it anymore or he's lazy to explain it to her. After a few minutes of waiting, Mayumi returned with a troubled face. Noticing her discomfort, he asked her what the problem was. She looked at him, worries written on her face.
"Shihou-san, can I ask you for a favor?" she said shyly and slightly embarrassed.
He never thought that something like this would happen in his life one day. When Mayumi asked him for his help, he didn't know that this was the help she needed. Looking in front of him, a massive product he doesn't even know how to use stands. How would he accomplish this embarrassing mission of his?!
Looking at the sanitary napkin in front of him, he doesn't know what to buy. If only he had asked Mayumi what brand to buy. Then maybe he had already finished this and managed to return to give it to her. But because of the embarrassment, he quickly leaves, and now he doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know any of this!
There are writings in the products that baffle him. Some say it's big, some are small, and there are also scented and non-scented. What is this?! He doesn't know what to do. He is so focused that he flinches after hearing someone giggle, turning around to see Shima Sumi.
"Buying some for your girlfriend, Shihou?" she asks with a slight smile.
"Shima-san! No, it's not--" he couldn't complete his sentence when she shoved a product into his arms.
"Girls like this brand, so you should buy her that! And oh, don't forget to give her chocolates! Girls crave sweets when they're on their period! Oh, I need to go now! Good luck!" she said and left.
Maybe Shihou needs that good luck of hers. After all, it's already embarrassing enough to pick one, but paying for the products in the cashier is way more embarrassing for a guy, and he wasn't even her boyfriend!
Mayumi is waiting patiently for Shihou to arrive. She was feeling bad letting him do this. She knows how embarrassing for a guy to buy pads! While waiting for him, Rokuhiko finally came with her luggage, stating the little explanation he gave him. While busy talking to each other, they didn't notice Shihou approaching.
Rokuhiko is the one who noticed first calling him and asking why he was late. He didn't answer him, not acknowledging his presence, and went straight to Mayumi to give her what she needed. She quickly excuses herself before going to the bathroom. Opening the bag, she startles when she sees the bar of chocolate and some sweets in the bag. Didn't she say to buy her just pads? And how did he know that these are the pads she likes?
Mayumi forgot to tell him what brand she likes due to embarrassment, and he also left right away, so she didn't have a chance to say it, but it seems like he got the pads she likes. But how did he manage to handle the embarrassment while buying these things? She smiles to herself, looking at the sweets that rest inside. Shihou could be sweet sometimes.
When they reach the Isami estate, Rokuhiko's gaping in awe at how big the house and place are, Mayumi chuckles while giving Shihou a water bottle. While they're on the ride, they discover that the great Isami Shihou has a weakness called motion sickness. They didn't know that Shihou had motion sickness. That explains why he always walked to school and home.
"Ah, by the way! Shihou, why does dad wants me to go to your house?" she asks, curious because her father nor Rokuhiko didn't inform her of the reason.
"Oh, I forgot Seichi-san didn't tell you, right?" she nodded as Shihou gave her the bottle back.
"Umm, yeah! And why is Rokuhiko accompanying me?"
"Seichi-san wants you to meet the whole Amagi family. He also wants you to introduce yourself to the 12 family heads, even though he doesn't want you to interact with them! He doesn't have the choice because Arihiko-sama told him to do so! In the meantime, you're staying here in the Isami house! As for Enami, Arihiko-sama wanted to meet him. That's why he was accompanying you!"
"Wait, Shihou! Who is this Arihiko person?" Rokuhiko asks curiously, Mayumi agreeing. Shihou gave them a disapproving look before sighing.
"Arihiko-sama? He is Tsugami Arihiko, the one who's managing the 12 families, with their laws, passing a new title as the head of the family, and he is the one who has the power here! I mean, he is the one who's ruling this country! Don't you know any of that?" Shihou asks, quite annoyed and somewhat surprised by their lack of knowledge. How did they not know who the person was handling the country? Are they human beings?
"Anyway, let's go inside! After all, it's already going dark!" as they get inside, they startle when someone tackles Rokuhiko in a hug catching him off guard causing their fall.
"Sayu! What are you doing?!" Shihou exclaimed in shock.
"He is! Brother! He is the one who saved me when I was about to be hit by a car last month! He is Rokuhiko!"
"Eh?!" the three of them startle by her statement. Mayumi and Shihou both look at him, seeing him with an awkward cheeky grin and saying it was true.
"Oh! I didn't introduce myself! I'm Isami Sayuri! I'm brother's little sister!" Sayuri, the little girl with short vermillion hair up to her shoulders and blue eyes, introduces herself while clinging to Shihou's arms.
"I'm Amagi Mayumi!" Mayumi said, introducing herself with a smile. Sayuri smiled too, leaning closer.
"Are you by any chance are my sister-in-law?" she said straightforwardly. Mayuri and Shihou both blush bright red at her bold statement.
"Sayuri, what are you saying?!" a light blush spread on his cheeks as he asked in embarrassment.
"Shihou! You have visitors?" they all look, seeing a young man smiling at them with vermillion hair and blue eyes. He looks like he is in his early 20s.
"I'm the eldest son Isami Keisuke!" he smiled and introduced himself to them.
"Enami Rokuhiko!"
"I'm Amagi Mayumi!" she introduces herself, her blush already gone.
"Ah! You are Seichi-san's daughter!" he said as he patted her head with a big smile.
"You two should rest because you still have many things to do tomorrow! Don't worry, the school already knows about your absence for the following days!" Shihou said as he led the way while ignoring the teasing his siblings had been throwing at him.
Mayumi is standing in front of a tree; she can't sleep. So she decided to walk around the house until she met Shihou on the way. He was the one who brought her here in front of the tree. Being one of the 12 families is so hard! Shihou explains that once she's already in the Amagi estate, she will start studying all about the 12 families and the laws, especially the sacred laws.
Mayumi admires how dedicated Shihou is to his duties. Then suddenly, she thinks, does Isami Shihou have a girlfriend already? No, he's not! Maybe he already likes someone! Filling with curiosity, Mayumi began to ask.
"Shihou-san, do you like someone?" the question caught him off guard, but he still answered it. The hesitation in his voice is noticeable.
"No, I don't have..."
Mayumi stands there quietly. That explains all, wasn't it? Shihou began to think, does he don't have someone he likes? He began to think, and suddenly, he began to speak without realizing it.
"There might be someone..." on that sentence, Mayumi's curiosity began to rise and ask the question to herself. She's curious about who it was. But she is smiling even though she can feel her heartache after hearing those sentences. Ignoring the feeling, she continues to talk to him.
