"Laws concerning the 12 families' weddings?" Shihou asks Mayumi. She asks Shihou the law Tennou told her because she got curious about it.
"Well, in all of the 12 families. The Miya is the only one they're prioritizing in that tradition!"
"Eh?! Why?" Shihou sighed.
He knows that he cannot explain that to her, especially since the girl he is starting to like is Tennou's soon-to-be bride. Once Tennou enters college, Shihou knows he will announce that he wants Mayumi to be his bride, and there is also a chance that he might do it early, like right now. Once that happens, he doesn't have a choice but to back off. Sighing, he began to talk.
"Because they're the only ones with a short time to look for a bride. Once they enter college, they need to find their future partner. And once they finish college, they'll get married. So there's a law for the 12 families they need to abide by."
"Law? What is it?" She asks curiously and sits beside him. Shihou frowned. If only he didn't take an interest in this girl.
"The other families need to back off! If one of the 12 families falls for the future partner of a Miya, they need to back off and find someone other than them! Oh, and I forgot! Even if the chosen partner refused to be the partner of a Miya. The family of Miya will do anything to make them agree, even to the point of threatening them..."
"Eh! Why?" Mayumi asks, confused.
"Because they only have a short time to pick like what I've said earlier. Anyway, let's end this chat, shall we? You still have a lot of things to do tomorrow!"
Mayumi nodded, and they began to leave to go to their respective room. She can't understand why the Miya family gets all of the privileges. Is it just because they are the 1st family, or are there other reasons?
The sun shone brightly in Mayumi's room, causing her to wake up looking around. She noticed her surroundings; this wasn't her room! Panicking and standing up, she tried to remember where she was. Suddenly she remembers that she is at Isami's estate, and finally, she calms down. She scolds herself for being too forgetful, and she startles when the door to her room suddenly bursts open. Sayuri enters her room, running to her as she tackles her into a hug.
"Sister in law! I mean, Mayu! Brother said you should get ready! You're going to go to Tatsuya's house!"
"Tatsuya?"
"Yeah, Hayami Tatsuya! The 2nd in the 12 families!" Sayuri said as she dragged her to the bathroom so she could start getting ready.
Shihou is currently in the living room, waiting patiently for Mayumi. When she came out, he was astounded by her beauty. He tried his best not to show his blush and act cool. Then began explaining to her that she needed at least 5 hours of interaction with one of the 12 families before proceeding with the next one. The cycle should go by the 1st family. Unfortunately, the head of the 1st family, Miya Tennou, is still at school. He won't be home until noon. So the cycle would go like this.
"We're going to Tatsuya's house at 9:30 after 5 hours 2:30 is your next schedule. By 2:30, Miya Tennou is already on his way to his house since he'll ask for an excuse in school. So maybe we'll go there by 3:00. For now, the Miya house will be the last family you'll visit for today!" Mayumi's sweat dropped with his meticulous planning.
"Why only two families?!" Mayumi asks when she realizes that she's only meeting two family heads.
Shihou averted his gaze. He doesn't want to; he knows that Tennou wouldn't stop bugging him until he cancels the meeting with Mitsumori. The original schedule should be three families head by a day. But he knew Tennou wouldn't like that, especially since he likes her. Sighing, Shihou avoided her question and told her they needed to leave to go to Tatsuya's house right now.

Mayumi is surprised to meet Hayami Tatsuya, and she doesn't expect that he has vocal cord paralysis and is weird. He knows sign language; she's sure of it since he greeted them in sign language. But then suddenly he took a paper and showed them an emoji, and she couldn't understand why he was showing them an emoji!
"Umm, I'm Amagi Mayumi. Amagi Seichi's daughter!" she was surprised when she has presented with a paper with an emoji written on it.
" ＼(≧▽≦)／" she sweat drops, not knowing how to reply to him. She doesn't even understand why he's interacting with her like that!
"It's nice to see you again, Hayami-san!" Shihou said with a smile.
Shihou leans at her and whispers lightly.
"Hayami-san loves emojis; that's why he used them to communicate. He only communicates properly with Arihiko-san and Shima-san. He loves to make fun of the person he's talking to; that's why he used emojis as communication!" Mayumi looks at her and nods slightly; she thinks that explains everything.
She was startled when he placed another paper in front of her.
" (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*),ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ, (o^▽^o), (✧ω✧) " Mayumi lean-to Shihou's ear whispering.
"Do you understand him, Shihou-san?" he looks at her through the corner of his eyes.
"Quite a bit..." he whispers back. He is already used to talking with the man to understand him now. Then suddenly, he pointed to Mayumi then to Shihou and gave them another piece of paper.
" ヽ(♡ ♡)ノ, ( ˘⌣˘)♡(˘⌣˘ ), σ(≧ε≦σ) ♡, (❤ω❤) " Mayumi looks at Shihou, hoping that he may be able to translate it.
"He said we're fit for each other..." Shihou said, looking away to hide his blush. Hearing what he said, Mayumi blushed, looking at her feet. She was kind of slowly falling for Shihou, after all.
During the whole meeting with him, Mayumi couldn't get used to his way of talking. Besides that, he kept teasing them, making her embarrassed throughout the entire session. Somehow she wishes for time to speed up, hoping this will finish already.
"Anyway, Thank you for your time Hayami-san!" Shihou said, standing up and bowing before looking at Mayumi, who's doing the same.
"We need to go to the Miya house now. Tennou doesn't want us to be late! We're going home by 10!" he said as he began to walk away.
"You're late! It's already 3:05! I thought you broke your words, birdy! Anyway, kitten-chan is here! Let's go hit the cafe!" as soon as he said that, he dragged Mayumi outside the house. Shihou sighs, but deep down in him. He was jealous of how easily Tennou could touch her hands. He needs to back off, or else he will face the consequences.
"Why do you want us to be alone, Tennou-san? Shihou-san is my guide, you know!?" Tennou clicks his tongue annoyed, and holds Mayumi's hand tighter as he keeps dragging her.
"I hate seeing birdy around! Common, we have all the time until 10:00!" he said as he smirked at her. Mayumi just let him drag her. By any chance, do Tennou like her? Suddenly she remembers what Shihou said.
"Who is the girl you like, Shihou?" she asked, smiling but deep down, she was hurting.
"I think I like the same girl Tennou likes. So I need to back off..."
What if Tennou likes her? Then there's a chance that she was the girl Shihou likes. A warm heat spreads to her cheeks at the thought. She doesn't know she will fall for a man like Shihou. But she knows the chances of Shihou liking her would be around 0%. Nevertheless, she'll do everything to make him like her.
