Chapter 88: Gossip Plan

At exactly nine o'clock in the morning, the signing ceremony for the transfer of all real estate of SN Group to Global Group ended smoothly.
Rosalind looked at Dylan, smiling slightly. She felt warm in her heart when she was floating in the flood and he reached out to help.
“Thank you, Dylan.” Rosalind said gratefully.
“I think it's profitable so I'll buy it, you don't need to be grateful to me. I will transfer the remaining amount in two weeks because the value is a bit large so the bank cannot arrange it immediately.”
After saying that, Dylan turned and walked out of the meeting room. Rosalind looked at him with disappointment.
He was always so cold, even if that girl disappeared from this world, he would never pay attention to her, not even as a reserve person.
Leaving the Global Group, Lyle and Alisa took Rosalind home. Doris had been waiting for a long time and as soon as she saw the three people entering, she immediately stood up.
“I heard your father's assistant say that this house is not on the list of transferred assets.”
“That's right.”
“Then quickly sign the transfer paper to me. You sold the land in the south of the city, so you should give this house to me. Anyway, I'm used to living here.”
“Madam, if you want to continue staying here, I have no objection, but I cannot transfer the documents to your name. This is my father's house, so I want to keep it.”
“This girl, are you planning on letting me go with empty hands? I spent so many years taking care of your father and you dare to be so ungrateful?”
Alisa walked over, put the stack of papers on the table, and told Doris to open it. Doris picked up the stack of papers and gritted her teeth in anger. She was about to rush towards Rosalind, but Lyle quickly blocked her in front of her.
“The land in province D and that money are all she can give you. If you don't need them, return them.”
“Return them? Dream away. I'll take even the smallest part.”
After saying that, Doris angrily ran back to her room. Rosalind bowed her head sadly. Letting Lyle witness this scene made her feel ashamed, but if he wasn't here, Doris probably wouldn't have let her be.
Even if that woman couldn't ask for more property, she would still jump up, scratch her, and cause chaos to vent her anger.
Lyle waited until Doris pulled her suitcase out of the villa before saying goodbye to Rosalind and hurried back to the company.
When he passed Stephen's office, he saw Paul standing hesitantly outside, but he was in such a hurry that he didn't ask and went straight to his office.
Daria had just left Stephen's office when she saw Paul. Before she could say goodbye, he grabbed her hand and dragged her down the corner of the stairs. He looked like a teenager, scratching his head and ears, looking back and forth.
“What's the matter, Paul?” Daria asked in surprise.
“Ah... Miss Daria, can you... can you help me with something?” Paul hesitantly said.
“Just say it, don't be shy.”
Paul hesitated for a while and then told the whole story. Tonight, he planned to propose to Ella but Stephen suddenly got excited and asked him to go entertain customers with him after work.
He knew that the chairman and deputy general director were both in a bad mood, so he didn't dare to complain, so he asked Daria for help.
Seeing his pitiful appearance, Daria couldn't bear to ignore him so she nodded in agreement. She thought to herself that there were too many broken relationships in the company so if she could help someone find happiness, she should help.
Because Daria had not left for long before jumping into the room, Stephen was a little surprised, his eyes bulging out to look at her.
“What's wrong? Did you forget something again?”
“Mr. Stephen, please take me with you to meet the customer tonight.”
“Girls should limit drinking alcohol. Paul will go with me.”
“Let me replace him, don't ruin his big event.”
“What do you mean?” Stephen put down the pen in his hand, leaned back in his swivel chair, raised his head, and asked.
Daria smiled and told Stephen about Paul wanting to propose to his girlfriend. He nodded, took out his phone, swiped it, pressed a few buttons, then turned to her.
“Where is that restaurant?”
“What? Don't you have to meet customers?” Daria's eyes widened.
“They postponed the appointment date. Tonight I will take you to see Paul's proposal.”
Daria nodded slightly and turned around, continuing to go to other departments to give instructions and urge them to do their work.
She felt very happy, not because she had the chance to gossip about others, but because she would have dinner with the person she liked. If she and Stephen got there, they would have to have dinner.
Time passed rhythmically. Looking at the clock and seeing that it was almost five o'clock in the afternoon, Dylan stood up.
He was about to leave the office when Paul knocked on the door and walked in, in his hand was a dark blue velvet box.
Although the wedding did not take place, Dylan did not ask to stop the stages of making the wedding rings and the wedding dress, so today, everything was completed on time.
Taking the pair of wedding rings from Paul's hand, Dylan felt so pathetic. Even if he used gold, silver, and jewelry, he still couldn't buy Nancy's heart.
“What about the wedding dress?” Paul looked at him furtively.
“Pack it up and bring it to the car for me.”
“Yes.”
Paul bowed his head and quickly left. Initially, he planned to propose to Ella after Dylan got married, but now that his boss's love affair was broken, he stopped waiting.
The strong wind passed by, and the white snow accidentally fell, thickly covering the road in front, the rows of dry, spindly, shabby trees without a single leaf clinging to them darkened the entire sky. The scene was tinged with sadness and desolation.
On winter days, when the afternoon light still lingered and did not want to leave, the night had already fallen, and the bells from the church rang out, evoking a deep sadness.
Dylan felt his heart was so tired that he wanted to stop loving her but he couldn't, that figure unconsciously overwhelmed his mind, never letting him go even for a second, a minute.
His thin hand gently touched the familiar phone number, and then the hopeless “beep, beep” sounds continued to ring.
Even though he knew Nancy had abandoned this contact number, he still held out hope that at some point, she would accidentally use it again and pick up the phone.
In the cold weather, he only dreamed of a warm family home, where there was her, him, and their children.
After a moment of bewilderment, he drove home, preparing to go to the pub. Since she left, he had been hanging out with the heirs of major domestic companies.
The original model of a typical male businessman was gradually being destroyed in the eyes of everyone, but thanks to that, the business opportunities of the Global Group were continuously expanding.
