Luna's POV
I walked in tiptoe as I exited Sarah's room. I was so exhausted that I didn't realize that I fell asleep beside her. I was just supposed to make her sleep but then I ended up the same.
Once I carefully closed her door and got the shocker of my life when I turned around and saw Devon standing in front of me, his rectangle smile greeting me a little too excited than necessary.
My heart started pounding real hard.
Damn Devon and my heart.
How come I never noticed this smile of his.
"Hey." I greeted him as I try to fix my disheveled hair.
"Beautiful." he muttered.
My cheeks turned red.
Did he just say I am pretty?
And then I noticed him sway a little.
My brows furrowed when I realized there is something wrong.
"Dev, are you drunk?" I asked him.
I looked around and saw the other boys all plastered around the living room, Jack's feet are on Jiro's face while Joshua was hugging Noah's arm. Joseph was on the floor, face planted on the ground.
"I won!" he happily cheered as he jumps up and down. "I knew it; they were wi-weak." his voice a little slurry.
"Ge'ez, did you actually did a beer pong or something?"
I chuckled when he started doing what seems to be a celebratory dance mainly by waving his arms up along with his body.
This is most probably the most unreserved Devon that I've ever seen.
I pinched his cheeks "You're so cute." I can't help but exclaim.
"Of course I am," he smirked as he gestured a peace sign just below his eyes. And then he started winking.
Oh God, this guy will be the death of me.
If that wouldn't make him any cuter.
"You know what, you should go to bed," I said as I put his hands down. He seems to have enjoyed doing his hand signs too much.
"Nope!" he said popping the "p" on the end.
He then pulled me by the wrist and lead my back to the unoccupied cushion in the living room.
I felt a current of electricity waved all throughout my body. My body tensed a little but I later pushed that thought. I can't let this chance pass by. This is the first time that I'm seeing Devon like this.
"I want to show you something," he said as we sit beside each other, our body touching each other since the couch isn't really enough for two persons to fit.
I gulped. "What?" I asked though I'm starting to feel a little suffocated by sudden closeness.
He looked at me seriously. "I actually have an elephant on my body."
I covered my mouth.
"What the actual fuck Devon!" I said as I then covered my eyes not even wanting to see what he is about to show me. Not that I don't like it but, ge'ez.
"Yah, what were you thinking?" he said as he tries to pry my hands out of my face which I reluctantly did.
And then he showed me his arms and there, I found what he was referring to.
I laughed out loud. "Oh my God! There is really an elephant!"
He chuckled at my reaction.
I had to stop and wipe away the tears that are starting to flow down my eyes.
"God, that was funny Dev." I told him as he watched me in awe.
"What?" I asked him curiously.
"Thanks." he said as he stared directly at my eyes. I had to bow my head a little not being able to handle his strong gaze.
"Hmm, for what?"
I started fiddling with my hands, getting a little uncomfortable. I'm not really used to him being like this.
"For what you did for my sister." he said and I had to look up to see how sincere he looked.
"Ow." I said a little surprise. "That was nothing," I told him. Well, I don't really know what he needs to thank me for. I just talk to his sister.
I resist the urge to touch his face when I saw him smile. "That was actually the first time that I saw her crying and sharing things about how she feels. She's normally very reserved and she doesn't want people to know how she felt. She doesn't even share her thoughts to me."
I looked at him a little shocked.
"Did you heard what we were talking about?"
He smiled timidly. "Just the last part. I just heard the part when she said that she had been a bad girl. I wanted to comfort her that instant but I reckon it's better to leave you guys together. I'm just happy she's starting to express how she feels."
I blushed a little. I never knew that my small talk with Sarah had such an impact on both siblings.
"I am happy I was able to help." I smiled at him.
I swallowed my saliva when I noticed him looking at my lips.
No, stop what you're thinking Luna.
But then he started moving his face towards mine, his eyes still fixed on my lips.
"What are--you--what are you doing?" I stuttered as his face continues to move closer to my face.
I felt my surroundings slowly moving.
What the hell. This isn't some kind of a movie right?
What the hell is happening to me?
I felt the butterflies going wild on my stomach and my inside is starting to feel different sensations that I'm not familiar with.
My eyes closed when I felt his hand on my chin lifting my face a little and my heart started pounding real hard when I felt his lips on mine.
My body froze in its place unable to move at the sudden contact.
Kim freaking Devon is actually kissing my fucking lips. Oh God, I can die.
Before I can even respond to his kiss, I felt his lips left mine leaving me an empty feeling.
My eyes shot open and my cheeks blushed into crimson red when I notice him staring at me, smiling like a crazy idiot.
And then I got the shocker of my life when his body slowly fell straight on the couch, his eyes closed, I can hear him slowly breathing, a smile still plastered on his lips.
What the heck. Did he actually fell asleep just right after he kissed me?
A small smile showed on my face. My hand automatically went up and wipe the sweat on his forehead.
What should I do with this guy?
I slowly stood up and adjust his position on the couch so he would be comfortable. I stared at him for a minute.
"I think I'm starting to really like you Kim Devon." I muttered.
As I turn around, my mouth went wide open when I saw Sylver smiling cheekily at me, a cup of coffee on his hands.
"Where you there the whole time?" I asked him nervously which he just replied with a nod. I covered my face in embarrassment.
I wish the ground would open up and swallow me this very minute.
Before I knew it, I started running to the door so I can hide my tomato red face leaving a laughing fuck ass Sylver behind.
