Luna's POV
"Your parents would be really glad once they found out that you two had already made up." my grandfather said while they accompany us on our way out.
Jiro and I just had a dinner with our grandparents, something that Jiro says he usually does once or twice a month and since I'm already here, of course, I should visit my grandparents more often.
My eyes went to Jiro's direction and saw him smiling at me which I returned. I am glad everyone had been happy about it. It only proves how stupid we two have been for being insensitive about our family's feelings.
"Grandpa, it's okay. We can get it from here. Besides, I and Luna had some place to go." Jiro said to our grandfather. Grandma decided to stay inside the house because she said she needed to make a call.
I looked at Jiro, my eyes looking at him questioningly. He just shrugged.
"Okay, make sure that you two behave." Grandpa looked at us and then gave each of us a hug. He hugged Jiro a little longer. "I know you always hang around the store a lot so make sure you keep an eye on your little cousin."
I wish I can pull Jiro's eyes because I swear he looked at my direction smugly as if indicating that he's somehow superior to us two.
"Grandpa, you don't have to say that. I can perfectly take care of myself. If not, I bet I'll be the one who'd take care of little Jiro here." I grinned at him which he just returned with a pout.
"Stop it you two. I swear to God you still act like some little kid." our grandfather said while shaking his head.
"Your fault." I childishly blamed Jiro.
"Says the one who won't stop talking."
And then we started making goofy faces with each other until our grandfather cleared his throat.
"I thought you have some place to be? You better go before I ask your Grandma to let you both stay inside the house so we can all have a little talk."
Jiro and I immediately bowed our heads and bid goodbye. Having these "little talks" with our grandparents isn't really something you'd anticipate nor enjoy.
Once we were out the house, I slightly pushed Jiro and he stumbled a little.
"Why did you do that for?" he half-screamed at me afraid that our grandfather would hear us.
"You almost got both of us in trouble?" I told him in a whisper.
"Hey, let's just go." he yanked my hand and pulled me along. Our grandparent's house is just a few blocks away from the store but I noticed that we're going to somewhere I was not familiar with.
"Where are we going? Aren't we supposed to turn the next corner?" I asked.
"The boys are in the park." he casually replied.
The boys, meaning, Devon will be there.
I stopped in my tracks which made Jiro stopped abruptly.
"What again?" he looked pissed which I don't give a damn because I might have a panic attack in the next five minutes if I don't go and calm myself this instant.
"Is Devon there?" I asked.
"Of course." he snickered. "It's Sunday and we always bring Sarah to the park every Sunday."
"Huh?"
"Are we going to stay here or are we going? Because I'm not really sure if I can wait for you while you do your little drama in here," he said as he put his hands on his waist like he's a damn drama queen.
He looked at me as if scrutinizing my whole being. His brows furrowed when he seemed to realized something.
"And why were you asking if Devon will be there, do you like him?"
My cheeks blushed immediately with just the sound of his sound.
"Damn Luna, your cheeks are burning red, oh my god!"
I had to move and cover his mouth afraid that someone would hear him.
"Shut up!" I hissed but he just pushed my hand away as he continues to laugh.
Once he's calm enough, he looked back at me. "Did something happened yesterday for you to blush like that? You did not kiss or something, right?"
If my cheeks can get any redder than the tomato state that it's currently in, I'm sure it would have been.
He was slightly laughing but when his eyes landed on my panic-looking face, his eyes immediately widen. "Fuck that Kim Devon, I'm going to kick that little piece of elephant!!!!" He said as he immediately dashes off. I had to run quickly so I can catch on him.
Oh my God! Why did you have to admit Luna?
I am afraid of what Jiro would do. Moreover, I am afraid of what Devon would say.
It wasn't even a good five minutes when we reached the park and my eyes widen when I saw the boys along with Sarah sitting on the ground with a picnic basket with them. If I'm not currently panting because of running, I would definitely say they looked so cute.
"Oh, Jiro hyung!!!!" Jack was the first one to notice Jiro dashing off, eyes fuming on Devon. It's not long enough for him to realize that something is wrong so immediately grab the smaller guy. I hate to admit it but Jack is indeed taller to his hyung.
"Let go, Jack. I'm going to kick that little elephant's---" he wasn't even able to finish what he was saying because Joseph came and covered his mouth.
"Calm down Jiro. Do you want Sarah to hear you?" Joseph sounded worried.
I almost came and hug both Jack and Joseph for stopping my stupid cousin.
"Yah! What were you thinking?"
"ay-ajskd-gdhfevf" his mouth was still being covered by Joseph and soon, the three boys were out of sight because Jack had pulled Jiro.
I almost collapsed on the ground out of exhaustion. It has been so long since I last ran a marathon and exercise. I definitely need to do something about it.
"Unnie!!!!" My eyes snapped to the other direction when I heard a girl call my name.
I smiled when I realize that it was Sarah who's calling me. I immediately walked to their direction.
I felt five pair of eyes staring at me.
"What?" I asked when I reached to them.
"What was that about?" Noah asked pointing at the three who were just a few meters away from us.
"Huh?" I asked pretending to be clueless about it.
My eyes made contact to Sylver's and an amused expression was written all over his face.
"Is Jiro your cousin?" He cheekily asked.
Everyone's eyes landed on us a little interested in what I had to say. Well, except for Joshua who already knows the truth.
It's little obvious anyway as we're both Park's. Though there's still huge chance that we aren't but, yeah, we are so I had no choice but to tell them the truth so I nodded.
They'd surely know eventually.
"Are you serious?" Noah asked.
"I knew it," Sylver muttered. "So that's why little Jiro was going ballistic." he half-whispered but I heard him clearly.
My cheeks went red because I certainly knew what he was talking about. I felt embarrassed when he looked at me and Devon knowingly.
Speaking of Devon, why is he not talking to me? I looked at his direction and noticed that he's not even looking at me but his eyes were glued on his phone. I swear I caught his lips tugged into a small smile.
Who is he texting with that is making him smile like that?
My blood started to boil.
So that's how it will be huh?
He's going to kiss me then go to sleep and then the next day, he'll forget about it. Not even a "Hi" or Hello". And then he's going to smile like nothing happened while he texts a good damn who knows who?
Okay, I'm getting a little irritated and offended nonetheless.
Fuck you Kim Devon.
I rolled my eyes in frustration before I turn around and walked away, not bothering to answer the continues call of the boys.
Whatever. You can go and text whoever bitch that is, I don't even care. Then I head back to the store.
I sigh. This isn't a good sign.
