Luna's POV
"Keep quiet. She's still sleeping."
"Hey, Noah, stay away from the table. You almost knocked out the vase. I swear this kid."
"It wasn't intentional Joshua hyung!"
"That's what you said when you accidentally knocked down the stacks of plates in our kitchen." I heard Joseph exclaimed
"Or when you broke the handle of Jiro's refrigerator. Oh my god."
"Really? We're talking about those things now?"
I can no longer help it, a chuckle escaped my lips but I had to stop midway when I felt a surge of pain just below my stomach.
"Hey, Luna, are you okay?" I opened my eyes and saw Jiro seating next to me, worry written all over his face.
I looked around and saw the boys standing around me. Jack was biting his fingers, while Joseph was desperately clutching on Noah's arm.
Then I felt a small pair of hands on my shoulders. I looked up and saw Sarah looking at me teary-eyed.
"Hey, why are you crying?" I asked her while I carefully sit on the bed.
I scanned the room noticing the familiar site and realized that I was once again inside Sarah's bedroom.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Jiro asked.
"Ow, I feel okay."
Except from the pain that I was feeling on my stomach and a little numbness in my head, I felt okay. I'm guessing it was because my hair was pulled a little too hard.
Then I remembered what happened and unintentionally, my body started shaking a little. Images of that scary incident started flashing before me, like a scary movie I wish I never wanted to see. Those times he harassed me, those memories I have kept hidden in my memories are all coming back. At that, tears started streaming down my cheeks, my consciousness once again slipping, almost unaware of my surroundings.
Fear flashed through my eyes, remembering Jae Hwan's face.
Jiro hugged me immediately while Sarah started crying out loud.
"Wait, can somebody bring Sarah outside first?" from the corner of my eyes, I saw Jack carry Sarah and went out.
I felt Jiro cooed me and I calm down a little.
I'm not a person to get really scared but I panicked real hard when it concerns Jae Hwan.
He's frightening.
"We brought you to the hospital to get you examine. Except for the few bruises, they said you should be fine so your mom said to send you home. She's afraid that guy would come to the hospital." he said. He was so careful, as if afraid I will have a breakdown again. I tried calming down, do grounding until I can make out my surroundings once again. I focused on my cousin and keep in mind that I am safe with them.
Finally, I looked at him and smile.
"What happened after I passed out? And where is Devon by the way?"
He started scratching the back of his head.
"Natalie screamed for help when you were being held. Luckily, me and the boys were loading our luggage for the trip so we heard her."
I then remembered Natalie. I bet she was scared.
"Before we came, we saw you running outside." Noah added. He looked inflicted and still worried.
"We're sorry we're a little late." Joshua added.
I looked at them and smile.
"That's fine." I told them. I am so glad they even came to help.
"And Devon, ahmm, he-" Jiro stuttered.
"What?" I asked curiously.
"He's at the police station with Sylver hyung." Noah explained.
"Why?" I asked a little concern. "Did something happen?"
The boys started pushing each other not wanting to tell the seemingly bad news to me.
"Cut it out guys before I break each of your necks." I told them.
"When you passed out, Jack run and held the man but Devon nearly lost it as he'd beaten the guy to death. It took all six of us to stop him from killing the guy." Jiro explained.
"I mean; I can't blame him. I actually wanted to kill him myself when I saw you lying on the ground."
I looked at Noah and gave him a smile.
"Who's that guy by the way?" Joseph asked.
After I explained everything to them, our eyes went to the door when we heard it opened.
"Guys, Devon, how did it go?" Jiro asked as he stood up from the bed.
Devon walked towards me.
He looked exhausted.
"How do you feel?" he looked at me not minding the guys around.
Before I knew it, we were left alone in the room.
I tap the space beside me asking him to come over which he did.
"Are you okay? Do you feel hurt or anything?"
I lift my hand and brushed the strands of hair covering his eyes.
I love seeing his eyes.
Then I felt his hands reached mine.
"I feel okay, stop worrying." I whispered.
He cupped my face and like how it always is, my heart starts beating so fast, I had to clutch my chest, afraid my heart would fall any minute.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there to save you." he whispered. "You got hurt."
His eyes looked sad.
My left reached his cheeks and I can't help but brush the part where he had a bruise.
"What happened to your face?"
"That guy hit me one time. Don't worry, he won't be able to come near you anymore." he assured me.
"I know." I muttered.
I smile when he pulled me closer.
"Too bad, I was excited to go on that trip." I told him while he's still hugging me. My hands reached his back as I hug him as well.
I'm not really sure what we are but I'm happy with this
"Don't worry, we'll set it on a different date."
We continued hugging until we heard the door open.
"Are guys still not finished being all sweet and all because we're actually tired waiting in here."
I laughed when I saw Jiro along with the other boys peeking.
"I swear Dev, you've become cheesy since you've met Luna."
The boys all came in along with Sarah who's no longer crying.
I pushed Devon a little while I gesture the girl to come over.
Sarah almost jumped and sat beside me.
"You're going to sleep with me right?" she asked.
"Ahhm," I looked around and saw the boys nodding.
"You can't stay alone at your house if that's what you're thinking." Jiro said.
So I turned to Sarah and nodded.
"Yey! You'll be like my new sister!"
"No!" our eyes all turned to Devon when we heard his voice.
"Tsss, let's go outside. It's already 6 and my stomach is growling" Joshua said as we all stood up.
"Why don't we have a picnic at the rooftop instead? We can grill those meats that we're supposed to eat in the waterpark." Noah exclaimed.
Soon enough, we were all on our way to the rooftop but before I can even go further, I felt Devon pulled me back so we were left alone in the house.
"What?"
He suddenly gave me a peck on the lips before he run towards the rooftop.
My mouth hung wide open and my hand landed on my lips.
What just happened?
I was out for a minute when I felt a hand tap my shoulder.
I got the scare of my life when I saw Sylver walk pass me.
"I swear I am always at the right place but at the wrong time." he muttered.
I stomped my feet in embarrassment.
What's with Sylver always catching me and Dev's awkward moments?
I swear that man was weird.
But moreover, I'm getting more confuse on what Devon and I are now?
Whatever. Just enjoy this moment, Luna.
Soon enough, me and the boys were all busy playing around.
At least my day got better.
