Luna's POV
I slowly removed the blanket that is covering my body and carefully put it on Sarah before I go out of my room.
I was startled a little when my feet landed on something soft.
I looked at the ground and saw Jack and Jiro hugging each other while Dev and Joseph were sleeping side by side.
Once I was out of my room when I saw Joshua and Sylver having a cup of coffee in the kitchen.
I barely saw Noah sleeping on the couch. If not for his loud snore, I wouldn't realize he's there.
I walked closer to Joshua and Sylver who both smiled at me.
"I hope you don't mind; we ransack your kitchen."
I just nodded as I grab a cup for myself.
Apparently, the boys had too much fun last night that we ended up inside my house as they all watch the Spiderman movie.
I didn't even realize that they all stayed in the house while me and Sarah occupied my bed.
"Don't you have anything to do today?" I asked the both of them.
"Naaa. We were planning to rest for the day since supposedly, we should be tired if we ever really went to the Water park."
I looked at him guiltily. It was my fault that's why the plan didn't push through.
"Whatever it is that you're thinking, stop that. It isn't your fault." Sylver said as he drinks his coffee.
My eyes landed on the ground.
"By the way, what's with you and Dev?" Sylver easily asked.
I had to roll my eyes.
"Whoa." I looked at Joshua who seemed shocked. "I knew it. You were both lovey-dovey and all. It's cringe-y." he said as if almost offended.
"We're not dating." I shyly told them. Just them I felt a pair of hands slipped through my waist, back hugging me.
"Good morning." His low tone voice sent chills throughout my body.
I had to catch my breath when I realize who it is.
Good Lord, Dev's voice was so low I swear it can be classified as something coming from six feet under the ground.
My cheeks blushed when I realized that Joshua and Sylver oppa were looking to both of us, the other was even raising his eyebrow as if telling me I just said something different.
"So who's not dating?" Joshua oppa gagged as he looked at both of us.
Sylver oppa just shake his head.
If my cheeks can get any redder than this, I hope it never happens. I probably look like a ripe tomato at this point.
"Hey, who are you dating?" Dev's face landed on the crook of my neck and I swear all the hairs on my body stood up when I felt the air of his breath made contact to my body.
Damn. Why is he being like this? And why is he affecting me like this? Why does a simple touch from him makes me melt immediately?
Just why?
"Hey, go back to sleep." I muttered unable to handle the emotion that is creeping inside me.
"I don't want to." he said as he hugged me tighter.
“Oh God,” I can’t help but whisper. My heart can leap out of my chest any minute.
"Yah, Devon, let the poor girl go. She looks like she'll pass out any minute." I heard Sylver laughing. He was trying to help but it also sounded like he was having fun seeing me struggling like this.
"It's okay. I'll catch her if she does."
What the hell is this man doing to me?
And then I heard a phone ringing. I was sure that was my phone. That was my ringtone.
It was a song named Hold me tight by some artist that I came across while listening to random music.
I fell in love with the voices so I downloaded it and made it my ringtone.
I quickly pushed Dev away and made my way to the living room where I saw my phone ringing.
Noah was already awake and he looked confuse as fuck while looking at my phone.
"Is that your phone?" he asked which I just nodded in return. My brows even furrowing at how curious he sounded. Why is he even looking like that?
Then I took my phone and answer the call. It was Yessa.
"Finally! Did you know how many times I've called you?" I told her as I answered her call. I slowly went back to the kitchen where the three boys were busy looking at me.
What's with them?
"Yahhhh!!!" I had to remove the phone to my ear a little when Yessa screamed.
“Oh, shit,” I cursed as I hear her rant continuously. She was probably scared and was nervous while waiting for me to respond. She had always been there for me since then so she knew how hard it had been for me because of the past incident. And I know it scared her to death. Somehow, I felt bad for worrying her. I should have called her first when I knew Mom would tell her. I always tease her but I care for her as much as she cares for me.
After I was sure she's calm down, I put the receiver back on my ear.
"Why did you not tell me where you are? I went to your house yesterday and your household was a mess. Your maids were all panicking and I just found out what that asshole did to you!"
"Calm down, Yessa. I'm already fine." I assured her.
"I need to see you. I'd die if I don't and I will kill that bastard by the way. I'm just telling you." I laugh at her words. As if she can really do that. The girl can’t hurt a fly. She’s just that delicate.
"I'll send you the address. And calm down please. I can't have another person going wild with me." I told her. It was already bad that everyone was worried. It’ll be so hard of every single one of them is acting like this.
I don’t really want to worry people and I appreciate the fact that they genuinely care about me but I feel better now. I guess that fully and I am not at my best but I will get there.
After a few more chitchat. I ended the call. Now, four pair of eyes staring at me. Noah had already join our party in the kitchen.
"What?" I asked them. What the hell is their problem? They were all acting so weird, I’m getting creep out.
They looked like they were confused and shocked at the same time. What the hell is wrong and why are they all staring at me like I did something shocking?
"What was your ringtone?" Noah broke the silence.
My brows furrowed. It was as if they were all waiting for my response.
My ring tone? Is that it?
"Ow, just some random music I heard online which I downloaded. Their voices were amazing,” I gushed. I remember having a hard time back then and just randomly listened to some music. I am not someone to like check singers and all because I am not really into music. I just listen to what will make me feel comfortable to be honest. “Why?" I asked them. Their reaction is weird. What’s wrong my music preference anyway?
"Do you know who the artists are?" Joshua asked, his eyebrow raised as if questioning my sincerity.
"I don't know. It was just one song that I listened to. Why, don’t you guys you like it? I mean, it’s fine if you don’t. I don’t really push my music preference with people,”
Then I heard them laugh.
"What part was your favorite?" Sylver looked curious.
"I don't know, the chorus? I mean all of the voices were beautiful but I guess I just fell in love with the chorus part. That very low tone of voice is something. He sounded like an angel." I smiled but it soon faltered when I saw them laughing their ass off while Devon was smirking.
I played that one chorus part with a voice a little too deep. And they chuckled even more.
What’s with them?
"What? Did I say something stupid?" I know I'm no music genius but I was just stating my opinion.
"Do you want to meet the person who sounded like an angel?"
I looked at Noah.
"Huh?"
Weird. What the hell are they going on about?
And then I heard Joshua oppa singing a part the same exact one on the song.
My lips parted immediately as I listen to him sing. He was singing it effortlessly and playfully but the voice sounded the same. Not my favorite part but I have listened to this song a lot of times so I was sure.
"No fucking way." I muttered. My eyes wide open. "No freaking way. Shut up!" I exclaimed.
Then Devon went closer to me and pulled me into a hug.
"I guess you're really into me huh?" He said smugly, his rectangular smile plastered on his face.
"That chorus…” he whispered. He was smirking, as if very proud of himself. “That chorus that you like the most, it was me."
I swear, Devon would be the reason of my early death.
