Luna's POV
I slowly opened the door on Devon's house with Sarah behind my back.
We look like some thief trying so hard to sneak into their house, afraid that Devon would catch the two of us.
I'm still not sure how I would be facing him. I feel like, everything was my fault for pulling some tricks so Jack would sing.
I was ducking behind the counter. Sarah and I decided to came in at the backdoor.
"You look stupid."
I was startled when I heard some voice which made me lift my head in instant, forgetting the corner of the counter just beside my head, so my head hit it very lightly.
I glared at Sylver who was chuckling along with a beaming Joshua.
So the other are in the kitchen.
I watch as Sarah chuckled before she jumped to Joshua.
"Oppa!"
Joshua hyung sweetly sweep the little kid on the ground and carry her, kissing her on the cheeks.
I slowly move my way and sat on the chair beside Sylver, who was drinking coffee.
"Hey," he greeted me amusingly.
"Sup, Sylver!" I greeted back and his eyes sparkled a little.
"So you already know huh..." he muttered after putting down the coffee on the table.
Joshua had put down Sarah who immediately ran out of the kitchen to find her Jack.
"I did." I said a little upset. "Anyone of you could have told me. I feel so stupid."
I heard Joshua sigh.
"We weren't sure how to say. It's our first time meeting someone who doesn't know us after what happened." Joshua scratched the back of his head. "Not that we met a lot of people but yeah, for two years, you're one of the few. We struggle in other places before too."
"Plus, Jiro was your cousin." Sylver looked at me. "We thought you know and you just don't mind."
I grinned at him.
"I don't really mind actually. I don't really care if you're some idols or ex-idols. I mean, we're all the same after we die." I told them and my skipped a little after I saw Joshua oppa smiled.
"Where's Devon by the way?"
"At the living room, with the rest of the boys." Sylver replied as he sips another of his coffee.
I started fiddling with the hem of my shirt.
"Is he okay? I mean, are you all guys okay?"
Joshua's eyes went soft. "Don't stress yourself too much about what happened Luna. It's not your fault."
"And it isn't the first time this had happened so it's pretty normal. Well, except the part when Jack sing." Sylver said while thinking deeply.
"What exactly happened? I mean, I have heard a gist of it but, what happened that made you all leave even after the insane success that you're having that time?" I asked, a little confused.
Joshua and Sylver went silent.
"Oh, you don't have to tell me. I know it's personal." I told them as I wave my hands.
I'm not expecting them to answer anyways. It's their story. To tell their story or not is their choice.
"We were given a choice." Joshua started.
"Dream vs family...brotherhood" Sylver continued.
I looked down. I feel like I'm getting what they wanted to say.
"You chose family." I said as a matter of fact, realizing myself how selfless these boys had been and how great their bond is.
"You chose your brother over your dreams, over your chance to perform on stage."
The two nodded, somehow in a daze.
"We thought it didn't matter. We all came together because of music but I was glad to have found people to share my moments with." Joshua mumbled.
"We chose not to leave a brother behind. We can sing any day. But I don't think I would be okay singing in front of thousands of people missing one member of my family." I looked at Sylver who was staring blankly before him. His words seem so natural, like it came from deep within.
"TRIGGER can never be a six member, Five or four. We're a seven-man group, singing as one."
I looked at both of them amazed.
I understand that they loved each member so much but to sacrifice your dream and own happiness, that's remarkable.
Somehow, I felt ashamed of myself.
My head snapped to Joshua's direction when I heard him laugh.
"Fuck, I can't believe I'm crying over this."
My eyes went wide open. Joshua hyung doesn't swear. And indeed, I can see a train of tears falling down his cheeks.
"I heard you." I looked around and saw Jiro coming over. He tapped my shoulder after acknowledging my presence then went straight to the kitchen counter to grab a glass of water.
"Don't ever tell Jack that I cursed Jiro or I'll kill you." Joshua glared at the younger guy. I looked at Sylver but he just shrugged.
"Luna, I'm coming over on your Mom's birthday by the way." Jiro said as he moves a little closer to us.
I almost forgot, it's my mom's birthday next week so I would be going home.
I smiled after what Jiro had said. Our family would flip once they saw us came together.
"I'm coming as well.” Joshua grinned at me.
"Me too." and Sylver.
"That means all seven of us will go." Jiro concluded.
My brows furrowed.
"You still go as one for the food?" I asked exaggeratedly.
They laughed.
"We're all going and we'll watch how you show Devon around to our cousins and to your parents."
My cheeks turned red after what Sylver said.
"Do you really like Devon?" my cousin seriously asked.
So do I like him?
"I guess." I answered. I know I'm physically attracted to him but apart from that, I'm not really sure with my feelings.
Jiro looked bothered.
"Why?" I asked.
He hesitated a little before he looked the two older guys beside us.
"I want to know how you truly feel about him because I don't want the both of you to get hurt." he started.
Sylver cleared his throat.
"Devon is in a mess right now. I mean, emotionally. But you're the first girl she'd allowed to enter his life. I'm not sure what relationship you two are having but I support it."
I smiled at Sylver, appreciating his words.
"But I'd like it if you two would stop kissing when I'm around. It's disgusting!" I turned and hit him on his shoulders while Jiro frown.
"Ever since we met you, Devon seems to slowly be getting back to normal" Joshua oppa mumbled.
Then I remember Devon.
"I'm not even sure how he feels for me." I said looking down.
"Why don't you ask him?" Jiro smiled.
"Huh?" I said confused. "It's not that easy, fucktard."
"Language, lady." Joshua reprimanded but I just rolled my eyes.
"It is Luna. Because Devon already heard everything."
"What?" I panicked.
"I forgot to say that he's standing outside the door eavesdropping even before I came in." my eyes went wide, so as the two others beside me.
"That means he heard you two talking about him as well."
Jiro said laughing over his hyungs who were looking at each other in panic. He has to run for his life when Sylver started hitting his shoulder.
I never knew the sloth can run.
I slowly walked out and saw Devon staring right at me, his arms crossed on his chest, his rectangular smile showing.
And here I was trying to sneak in to his house earlier afraid to face him after what happened but here he is, smiling at me.
What should I do with this guy?
I tried to follow the boys and avoid Devon but he simply blocked my way, stopping me by the arm.
Butterflies soon erupted on my stomach after the sudden contact.
"So you really like me huh?" he said while softly looking at me.
Devon is indeed weird. One moment he's angry and the next one is he's serious.
But I'm more getting scared of myself for somehow getting used to his weirdness.
And is it wrong for me to say that I'm loving how weird he really is?
Or should I say, I'm starting to love the guy?
