Luna's POV
Pulling my phone from my pocket, I reached for my headset and started playing one of the songs of the boys that are still open in public.
I can’t believe I only know a few songs when their songs are such gems. Also, I found out they received so many awards when they were active.
I suddenly remember that time when Jack suddenly sings. I can clearly see how much he misses doing it. Somehow I feel so bad because the guys misses doing what they use to do. I was kind of wishing they can get back into singing.
"Oh, noona!" I was startled when I heard Jack’s voice. It was too loud; I was surprise I even heard him even with a headset on.
He just came in inside the convenience store. Natalie looked at his direction and even the two customers inside was startled. I can’t even contain the kid’s excitement. Why is he so loud anyways?
He was looking at me weirdly, a grin literally showing in his face.
As days go by, that’s when I really realize how weird these boys are.
My shift is almost done. I will be given another time to rest though.
"Oh, yeah? " I smiled as I watch him march my way towards my direction with a whole determined look on his face. "Wait," my stomach churned when I realized he isn't slowing down, so I removed the earpiece without bothering to turn off the music and got the scare of my life when his arms wrapped around my waist, lifting my body off the ground.
"Jack!" I screamed in shock and panic but I only heard his laughter echoing on the hallway, a few of the people laughing at our state.
I covered my face in embarrassment when he continues to carry me. I even heard Natalie screaming telling Jack to put me down because I might fall.
Is this normal for them?
"Put me down, Jack!" I hissed but he just shrugged his shoulders. What the hell is he thinking?
"I was given instructions to bring you to the house and it took me twenty minutes to find you, noona. That is unacceptable," he laughed but I still confused.
That long? He should know I am just either at their house or mine, plus the convenience store if I have work. And yeah, maybe I visit my grandparents a lot of times but finding me shouldn’t be that hard. Especially not now when I am no longer traveling.
"I can walk on my own, dummy,"
But even after all those protest, he didn't put me down, much to my disappointment. He is such a strong kid.
I didn't know how long it was but I feel like all the blood in my body went to my head and when he put me down, I sway a little and I swear I would have landed on my feet if not for the person who grab me by the waist to keep me from falling.
"Careful..." my body stiffened when I felt his breath hitting the back of my neck sending me a tingling sensation throughout my body.
Holy shit.
"Ohhh, Devon!" Joseph teased and Jiro wiggled his eyebrows. What the hell is wrong with my cousin? Is he into this too?
The rest were all sprawled on the floor and Sarah was smiling at me so I can’t help but smile back
Jack was looking at me weirdly, his eyebrow raised before joining the others.
"Are you two dating?" Jiro started nagging which caught the attention of his hyungs who lifted their heads and looked at our direction.
Blushing a little, I moved forward to be away from Devon and scowl at the others. Why can’t they leave us at peace? Even Jiro is starting to be really annoying.
Wrong move. Because doing that, my earphone got disconnected on my phone and the music I was listening with blasted on the room, everyone's eyes looking at my direction when Devon’s voice echoed.
I gulped.
Jack looked taken aback and so were the other boys. I smiled awkwardly and did not bother speaking. I know it’s been so long since they heard their music playing because nobody dares to play their old songs in their house. I noticed that even before, when their songs rarely get played in public while they are there, they tend to really go away.
I try my best not to listen to their songs when they are with me out of respect.
"Wait a second, is that ahm, is that our song?" Joseph asked and I bit my lower lip while I reach to turn off my phone in panic.
And right there and then, I watch as Devon started walking away. He did not even leave me a glance and the boys looks at me knowingly.
Jiro move forward and tapped me on the shoulder.
“Don’t worry about him. He’ll get better, I promised,” my cousin stated. Jack was pouting but smiled nonetheless.
“Can I ask though what’s your favorite song?” he asked and the others looked at me as if they were waiting for my response.
“Well,”
I didn’t know what to say because to be honest, I really like all of their songs.
Like, a lot.
