" It's not a debate Frank, this is my decision" he said sternly and I went straight to my room.
I entered my room then dropped my bag on the table and laid on the bed.
I can't believe my dad is actually trying to get me a wife, why would he even do that? And my mom also sat there and said nothing about it.
Shortly, a knock came on the door and my mom entered.
" Frank" she called then sat on the bed.
" Mom, why you let dad do that?" I said.
" Son, your father is only looking out for you as any father would,..he needs to make sure you're ready for the company" she said.
" Your father has come a long way and put alot in the company, he trust that you can do a better job at the company which is why he entrusted everything to you" mom said.

" I think I messed up" I said to Cynthia as I entered.
" What do you mean you messed up?" She asked.
" Remember you told me to get him angry" I reminded.
" Yeah, so what happened?" He asked.
" I kinda shouted at him right in front of all the staff" I said.
" Really?....woww, that's great girl.....so what did he say?" She asked.
" Are you serious at all?....you don't even think he's going to fire me" I said.
" Nah....he can't do that, so tell me what did he say?" She asked.
" He-He didn't do anything, he just looked surprised then left" I said.
" He didn't shout at you or angry or anything?" She asked.
" No.... he didn't say anything, he just left" I said again and she smiled.
" Congratulations girl......you have your man" she said.
" What are you talking about?" I asked.
" He really do have feelings for you" she said.
" So what do we do now?" I asked.
" Go to him, and apologise for your action then tell him you agree to date him" he said.

Frank's POV

I got to work the next day and as I entered I could feel everyone's eyes on me and I stopped.
" I expect you all you all to focus on your job not for you to start gossiping around in my company" I said and they all sit appropriately.
" If you're not ready to do your job I'll have you all replaced in a minute, I'm very sure there are others out there willing to take your position" I said then went to my office.
It's not their fault it's mine and I have to make sure such didn't repeat itself, I entered my office and Fred entered after.
" Good morning Sir" he greeted.
" Good morning Fred" I replied.
" Sir, should I remind you of your meetings today" he said.
" Wait before you do that, call me Miss Bernard" I said.
" Alright Sir" he said then left.
I had to apologised to my dad yesterday cause I know a leader something like that can't happen.
I think this has to be settled once and for all and get it over with.

When Fred informed me that the boss wanted to see me I was scared a little bit.
There's a possibility that he want to sack me but if he wanted to do that his secretary will be the one to hand it to me.
So whatever the reason is that he wanted to see me, I'm not getting sacked.
I knocked on the door and entered after being invited in, I saw him and the countenance on his face shows that he's not angry.
" Good morning sir" I greeted.
" Miss Bernard, please have your sit" he offered and I sat down.
" I called you here to clear and settle some things which is not right for me to do" he started.
" I wanted to apologise to you for the trouble I caused you this past few days, I'm really sorry for my trouble" he apologized.
" No sir.......I should be the one to apologise for the way I reacted towards you yesterday, I'm really sorry for that" I said.
" Nah Miss Bernard, you're at no fault... you're just trying to concentrate on your job which is the right thing to do"

" I'm impressed with your Job and I want you continue doing so....... I'm sorry for the trouble once again" he said.
" Sir, actually I've agree to date you, this is me saying yes to your proposal" I said and he smiled.
" Oh Miss Bernard, you don't have to agree to something like that just because of what transpired.....I get it" he said.
