Bella's POV

I woke up with my head banging heavily, it was as if I was being hit with a hammer cause the headache is very disturbing.
I tried to get up from bed and my hand hit an alcohol bottle lying beside me then the event from yesterday started flooding in.
Started from when I caught that bastard at the hotel, and when I saw him naked humping a lady in his house.
I remember getting home and cried my eyes out then went to the fridge to get two bottles of beer and drank to stupor.
I'm not a fan of beer but with what happened yesterday I had to take it.
Recalling the event made my swollen eyes freed another stream of tears, I just can't believe this is happening.
" Is she still in her room?" I heard a familiar voice from outside.
" Yes, since yesterday" I heard my maid replied.
" What happened?" I heard the voice clearer this time and it turns out to be Stella my secretary.
" After she came home last night, she said she doesn't want to be Disturbed and she locked herself in" Lily said.
" Ma'am please open up..... it's me Stella" she said but I said nothing.
" Ma'am please" she said again then I went to open the door.
" Ma'am, what happened?, have you been crying? Your eyes are swollen" She asked as she saw my face.
" please Stella, I don't want to talk about it" I replied.
" I didn't see you at work then I decided to check on you, I tried your line but it was switched off" she said.
" I'm fine, i'll be at work tomorrow, you can go now" I said.
" Are you sure you will be okay?" She asked.
" I'll be fine, I just need a day off" I replied.
" Okay ma'am, I've sent some documents to your email"
" Alright I'll check it out" I replied.
" please take care of yourself" she said.
" Thanks Stella" I replied then she left then Lily came forward.
" Ma'am, should I prepare your breakfast now?" She said.
" Yeah and please make it something light" I said.
" Okay ma'am" she said then left.
I took a deep breath then stood up and went to have my bath.

I got dressed and came down to the dining to have my breakfast and Lily dish it out for me.
I find it difficult to eat cause I don't really have an appetite.
" Ma'am, it's been three years that I've been working for you and I know something is not right" Lily said and I know what's trying to say already.
" You barely get angry and even if you do it's not to this extent, something else is up" Lily said.
" You can say that" I replied.
" Heartbreak?" She asked.
" Something like that" I replied.
" I understand but you shouldn't let that draw you back, you're a strong woman and you continue being strong"
" You have to get past this and shows that nothing can pull you down, remember you have a company to run so you need to stay strong" she said.
" Thanks Lily, I really appreciate" I said.
" You're welcome ma'am" she replied then left.
She's right I can't let this pull me down, this relationship has cost me one great opportunity to secure a contract which I just lost.
I can't let that happen again, I need to get back in the game, there's alot more to do.
Fortunate's POV

I got home with great anger to bash on Cynthia cause she's the reason Frank is no longer interested in me.
I can't believe this actually happen, I have him right close to me, I have him begging to accept him but I was so stupid listening to Cynthia.
I can't let him go, I have to find a way to get him back, he has to accept me back, he has to become mine.
As I entered I didn't see Cynthia at home which means she's yet to come back from work.
I went to my room to freshen up and start to make dinner.
I was making dinner when the door opened and Cynthia came in.
" Heyy girlfriend" she said as she entered but I refused to replied and she came closer.
" What's the matter? Why's your face like that?" She asked.
" It's your fault..... it's all your fault, I shouldn't have listen to you in the first place" I said.
" Heyy slow down girl....what are you talking about?" She said.
" FYI your big plan failed, my boss now rejected me" I said.
" You mean after you told him you agreed to date him?" She said.
" Of course, he told me he's no longer interested. I tried getting his attention afterwards but he's not even looking my way" I said.
" I'm so stupid, I shouldn't have listen you and your stupid plan" I added.
" Heyy, I'm sorry for trying to help you, last time I checked you're the one afraid to get involved with another playboy"
" Don't just try to put all of this on me, I acted according to your information, I haven't met him..."
"....but you did you said you thought he's a Playboy, so this is no one's fault but you" she said and went to her room.
she does have a point, I'm also to blame cause I shouldn't have acted to what I see and heard.
Cynthia is not to blame she's just trying to help and to be honest her plan does work but didn't end up the way we wanted.
Perhaps, it was me that carry the plan the wrong way, i shouldn't have take it that far.
I went out of the kitchen and went to Cynthia's room and see her going through her phone.
" If you're here to put more blame on me just go back already" she said without looking at me.
" I'm sorry Cynthia, I'm just so angry and don't know what else to think" I said.
" And the only thing you can think is that I'm supposed to be blame...huh, I'm sorry I won't meddle in your affairs anymore" she said.
" C'mon girl, I'm sorry, I take the total blame, your plan indeed work but I carry it out wrong" I said.
" I'm sorry" I said.
" Fine. so what really happened?, What went wrong?" She asked.
" I don't know. After telling him that I accept him, I was expecting him to smile and accept me back only for him to tell me he's no longer interested" I replied.
" So what do you want to do now?" She asked.
" I can't let him go, I have to have him, he has to be mine" I said.
" Then you have to keep getting his attention, it's possible that he's trying to get back at you for rejecting him before" she said.
" So you're saying, he can later accept me?" I said.
" Yeah, if he doesn't have any girl he will probably accept you back" she said.
" I pray so, because this is a golden opportunity that I can't afford to miss" I said.
