Mr and Mrs Richmond are in their room and Mr Richmond revealed his intentions to his wife.
" What!, you want the company to merge?" Mrs Richmond exclaimed surprised at his decision.
" Yeah, that seems to be only solution as of now" Mr Richmond said.
" Which company do you have in mind?" Mrs Richmond asked.
" I already called my friend william Nelson" Mr Richmond said.
" You mean Nelson group of companies?" Mrs Richmond asked.
" Yeah"
" You didn't tell me he's your friend" she said.
" Actually he's an old friend we met few weeks ago" he said.
" So you're saying he agreed to that?" Mrs Richmond asked.
" Yeah, he decided not to collect any interest of any sort after we merge, it will just be run by both Nelson and Richmond" he said.
" Oh My Goodness, that's great......he accepted all that, that man is indeed God sent. may God bless him" Mrs Richmond said.
" Wow, this is indeed great testimony, he did all of that without asking anything in return?" She said excitedly.
" Actually he did asked for something in return but it's up to Bella now" he said.
" What did he asked?" She asked.
" For the merge to take place, Bella will have to Marry his Son, so they could run the company as one" Mr Richmond said.
" Really?, Do you think Bella would agree to that?" She asked.
" I really hope she does cause that's our one way for the progress of the company" he said.
" So will you tell her or should I?" She asked.
" I will but not now, I still need to inform the board members about this" he said.

Frank's POV

" Sir, I know we got off on the wrong foot and I'm so sorry about..."
" I was scared and naive cause of my past relationships, and then you showed up and asked me out on your first day at work"
" I couldn't think of anything else and also can't trust that what you're saying is true" Fortunate said.
She has been doing a lot of that lately, she's been trying to get my attention but I ignored her totally.
She just don't give up and she came to my office as well this morning to apologizing for her behavior.
" I told you Miss Bernard, I'm not angry at you, I'm just not interested anymore, you need to understand that" I said to her.
" Then let's start afresh, we can work this out" she said.
" There's nothing to start, maybe you're right maybe when I asked you out in the first place in was just trying to get into your pants" I said hoping that she will back off.
" Sir, I don't care anymore as long as you and I are together" she said.
" Miss Bernard, let's stop this right away. this is a company so let's start being professional..."
"...and if what you have to say has nothing to do with the company I'll suggest you go back to your office" I completed.
" I understand Sir but please promise that you will think about it" she said and I sighed.
" Fine, I'll think about it" I replied then she smiled a little then left.
This girl is very persistent, she's like a bug that wouldn't come off, I think I've said NO to her enough maybe I should give her a chance.
If Fate wants us to be together then we will surely be and nothing will hinder that.
This past few days has been great, the company is blooming everyday infact I just secure seven contracts not long ago.
I made sure I make my parents proud and don't want to let them down.
Few hours later when it's time for me to go home, I pick my bag and went out.

After parking the car I entered the house and meet both my parents in the living room.
" Good evening Dad, Good evening me Mom" I greeted.
" You're welcome" they replied.
" Frank please come sit here there's something I need to discuss with you" Dad said.
He has his serious face which mean whatever it is he wants to say must be important.
I walked to them and sat on the couch facing them.
" Frank, I want to applaud you to the great job you've been doing in the company for the few days you took control"
" C'mon dad, it's my company what else do you expect " I said.
" Yeah and I'm proud of you" he said and j smiled.
" Thanks Dad"
" Remember our discussion the last time about marriage?" He said.
" Yeah"
" I've found you a wife" he said.
" What?, Dad why?" I asked.
" I told you the reason already" dad said.
" C'mon Dad, you can't just choose for me who to spend the rest of my life with, it's my life dad" I said.
" This is the reason I put in my best act in the company hoping that you will change your mind concerning this arranged marriage of a thing" I added.
" It's important Frank, because the company needs to merge" he said and I stared at him in disbelief.
" Merge?, why do we have to merge?, The company is standing firm and in it's best position so why do we have to merge?" I asked.
" A close of friend of mine needs help and that is the only way to help him, I owe him a great debt" he said.
" But dad?, merging isn't something you can just do like that ...what if something goes wrong?" I asked.
" Which is why I want you and his daughter to get married as well, that will strengthen the bond between the two companies" he said.
" Daddd" I said.
" You have to do this Frank" he said.
" Dad it's unfair, I've done all you asked me to and you couldn't even grant me what I requested, it's so unfair Dad" I said then went to my room.

Few minutes later my mom entered my room and sat beside me on the bed.
" C'mon son, you know your dad only want the best for you" mom said.
" Mom, you told me if I keep up a good act and behavior and focus on the company that he will change his mind, then why is he doing this?" I asked.
" Like your father said, the man was an hold friend and he's going through a tough time and your dad is the only hope" mom said.
" I just don't like the fact that I'll be spending the rest of my life with a total stranger, this is twenty-first century, people don't do that again" I said.
" You'll like this girl when you see her, she's beautiful" mom said.
" Mom, that's not how it works, what's the name of this company?" I asked.
" Richmond Enterprises" Mom said and my eyes bulged out in surprise then I sit properly.
" What did you call it?" I asked.
" Richmond Enterprises" she said again which confirms that I heard it right the first time.
" You mean Richmond Enterprises which has a branch in America and its Headquarters in Nigeria?" I asked.
" Yes.. That's the one" she confirmed.
" What happened to the company?, They have no problems last I heard" I said.
" Yeah, something really big hit the company" she said.
My parents didn't know It was Richmond Enterprises I worked for while in the State.
So that means if our company is to be merge to Richmond Enterprises then that means I'm marrying Bella.
" Wait Mom, do you happen to know the girl's name?" I asked.
" Yeah, her name is Anabella, do you want me to send you her pictures?" Mom asked.
" No need, tell Dad. I agree to whatever he decided" I said Happily.
" Really?, that's good to know, I'll inform your father immediately" mom said then went out.
