The next day I get prepared for work, I adjusted my tie then went out of my room.
What my mother told me yesterday is still a surprise to me,
so Bella and I will be getting married?.
I never thought something like that can ever happen only when I fantasize about it.
So that means she's no longer with her boyfriend,
what could happen between them?
What went wrong?,
well whatever it is I don't really care cause it actually works in my favor cause I have no hand in their separation.
I got to the parlour and met both my parents at the dinning and I went over.
" Good morning mom, Good morning Dad" I greeted then sat down while the maid dish out my food.
" Morning Son" they replied.
" Your mother told me of your decision yesterday, why the sudden change of heart?" Dad asked.
" Nothing Dad, I Just decided to listen to you and get married, besides you always want the best for me" I replied.
" Oh. I'm glad to hear that" he replied.
" So when is this merge going to happen?" I asked.
" The merge can't happen until you two are married" he said.
" So when will that be?" I asked.
" They have to the end of this month, so anything that's going to happen must happen this month" he said and I was surprised.
" This month?, isn't that like too early?" I asked.
" That's the conditions they give" he said.
" Looks like they need our help that bad" I said.
" They must be going through a lot" mom said.
" What actually happened?" I asked.
" They have problems with the shareholders and things went South, and now they have no one to turn to" dad said.
" Except us" I completely grinning widely.
" Frank?, looks like you're happy about all of this ever since yesterday, is there something you're not telling us?" Mom asked.
" No mum, nothing I got to go now" I said then stood up to leave.
" Alright take care" she said.
" Bye. see you in the evening" I replied then went out.

I'm getting married in three weeks?, So in three weeks Bella will be mine forever.
I couldn't stop grinning to myself as I got to the company which makes everyone stare at me.
I got to the elevator and met fortunate inside then I entered as well.
" Good morning sir" she greeted.
" Hi, Good morning" I replied.
" I was just going to your office to give this to you"she said showing me some documents.
" Alright, let's reach my office" I replied then wait for the elevator to reach my office which it did inf five seconds later.
" Good morning Sir" Fred greeted as I got to my office.
" Morning Fred" I replied then went into my office and fortunate followed.
" Alright Miss Bernard, what's in the documents?" I asked.
" It's about the new model of our recent product, it's yet to be released so we need your signature for that" she said.
" Okay, give it to me" I said then she handed it to me then I signed it then give it back.
" Is that it?" I asked.
" That will be all" she said then turn to leave and she stopped.
" Sir, uhm. about yesterday have you..."
" Look here Miss Bernard, whatever you think could happen between us is definitely a fantasy because it can never happen" I said as she look disappointed.
" I'm sorry for starting all of this with you, sorry for that so please let's drop all this and concentrate on the company" I said and I watched as she shed tears.
" I-is t-t-there someone else?" She asked.
" Yes, and we are to be married this month so please enough with this, I'm sorry once again" I replied.
" Okay sir" she replied then went out.
She has to know that cause that's the only way I can help her, she needs to move on.
Bella's POV

It's been two days since I got here in Nigeria and we are yet to know what to do.
Though my father said he's working on something of which he refused to tell me about.
I've seen my mom and dad always whispering whenever they are together and immediately I joined them they just changed the topic.
I still don't know how they could be sitting comfortably when the company is at stake without them doing nothing.
I was trying to figure out a way to save the company and nothing is coming in which makes me more worried.
" The company might shut down Stella, and I don't want that not after all we've been through" I said to my secretary.
" Don't worry ma'am, something will come up" Stella said.
" Don't call me ma'am Stella, we are not at the office, so call me by my name" I said.
" That might be difficult" she said.
" Get use to it" I replied.
" Okay Bella, I think I have an idea of how to revive the company" she said.
" Okay, so tell me" I replied.
" By Merging"
" The thought cross my mind but I don't think that will be possible besides where do we find a company willing to merge with us?" I said.
" We just have to try?" She said.
" Fine, start work on it immediately, I need information about some companies" I said.
" Okay"
" I also need you to get in touch with the board and set an online meeting with them today" I said.
" Okay Ma'a..Bella" she said then left.
I stood up and went to the other parlour to look for my parents and found them together.
" Mom, Dad...I noticed you both are keeping something from me, whatever it is you know you can tell me" I said.
" It's all about the company" dad said.
" Yeah about that, I think there's a way we can save the company" I said.
" Okay, how do we do that?" Dad asked.
" By Merging but the only problem there is that where do we find a company that will be willing to merge with us?" I said and they don't look surprised.
" Actually that's what your mother and I were talking about" dad said.
" Your father is right" mom confirmed.
" Okayy, so have you found a solution?" I asked.
" Yeah we did, we found a company willing to merge with us" dad said.
" Really?, Oh My God, you finally did?" I said surprised.
" Yeah we did, they are willing to take everything on their shoulder" dad said.
" Wow, what is their clause?, what is the agreement?, what did they ask in return?" I asked.
" The man is an old friend of mine and he asked nothing in return, he's happy to do this for us" he said making me more surprised.
" Whatt!...woww, what's the name of this company?" I asked excitedly.
" NELSON Group of companies" dad said and it turns out to be surprise.
" NELSON?, You mean Nelson the multi-billionaire company?" I asked.
" Yes"
" But why would a wealthy company like that wants to merge?" I asked.
" Like I said the man is an old friend of mine and he's willing to do that for me" dad said.
" ohmyGod this is a great new" I said really happy.
" But he wants a tiny bit of something before the merge could happen" dad said in a strange way.
" You said tiny but your reaction make it seems like a huge thing, what did he want?" I said.
" Marriage" Dad said.
" Whaaat, marriage?, with that man?,is he a pedophile?, Dad how could you eve....... "
" Calm down Bella, you're not marrying the man, he wants you for his Son who is now the CEO of the company" he said interrupting me.
" But how could they want something like that?, giving their son to a strange lady who they haven't met"
"...and you dad why would you want to give your only daughter to a strange man?" I said.
" Because that's the only way to save the company, I didn't want to tell you this because i know you won't agree to it" he said.
" I thought you said he's your friend why can't he just help as a friend that he is" I said.
" He said the marriage will strengthen the bond of both company, he probably don't want any problem to occur in the future" dad said.
" What about the boy did he agree to this as well?" I asked.
" I got a call from my friend this morning saying that he agreed" dad replied.
" He agreed to marry a strange woman?, what kind of man is that?" I said.
" Bella, no one is forcing you to do what you don't want but whatever it is do it quickly" mom added.
" Bella, we are running out of time and whatever your decision is be fast with it or the company fall" dad said.
I know he's right but why would I get married to a strange man that I know nothing about him.
Why is all of this happening to me?
What have I done to deserve this?
Why am I the one punished for this?.
This is not how I plan to marry, this is not how I visioned it to be. Since this is the only way I have no other choice .
" Fine, I'll do it, I'll get married to him" I said.
