Shruti's POV
It was the wedding day and the clock struck 5 so we thought of going to our room and getting ready.
I asked Vidhi to come fast to get ready. We were going to our room to get ready when Vidhi's mom called her to come. She told me to go and get ready and went to talk to her mom.
I went to our room and took out my dress and accessories and went to get freshen up.
I was thinking about what Siddharth said last night. I couldn't sleep after that.
Maurvi said that Siddharth loves me ... Was it true?? My heart started beating very fast.
I had tried not to be alone since last night. I was avoiding meeting him. This was not the right place to discuss all this.
It's not just what I saw that day...
He was interested in Dr Isha. She has been telling her date stories to her friends. I happened to hear one of them, when I was passing by...
Anyways... I was here to enjoy this wedding and will do it. I will not spoil my mood.
I will not think about him.
But he is here and is all set to win your affection and attention.
Nonsense... He is here to attend the wedding.
His would-be bhabhi proclaimed that he loves you.
But Dr Isha also says that they are in a relationship.
Maybe she just lied...
Why would she do that??
Why would Maurvi tell lies ???
Yeah... But... I don't know.
You know, Maurvi was speaking the truth.
I don't know... Let's not think about it right now.
Just then, Vidhi entered the room and shut the door. She leaned against it and closed her eyes.
What happened to her?
" Hey Vidhi, What happened?? Are you alright? Shall I call Vikram bhaiya??" I said touching her forehead and checked her pulse.
" Don't be silly, I am ok. "
" Are you sure?? " Just then there was a knock on the door.
" Vidhi someone is at the door. " I said.
" I don't want to talk to him. "
" Vidhi, open the door. I need to talk to you. " Shubh said from the other side of the door. But she neither said anything nor opened the door.
" Open the door, Vidhi," he said again.
" No... Go away. " She said and rushed into the washroom.
I didn't know what to do with both of them, so I changed into my dress.
Just then Vidhi's mom called her on her phone but as she was in the washroom, I picked up the phone. She wanted her to come for some help. I told her that she was taking bath so I went to help her instead.
I was coming back after helping her when a waiter passed by me. I was feeling thirsty so stopped him and picked up a juice glass.
Just then a child, who was running around, bumped into a waiter and he spilt the contents of his tray on my dress. I was shocked as hell.
Oh god !! I had selected this dress for the wedding function. I panicked and rushed to our room.
Vidhi looked upset too but she was shocked to see me.
" What happened?? " she asked and I told her. I tried to wash off the stains but it was not easy.
" Don't worry, I will give you another dress. "
" Oh no, I have another dress but that is not as beautiful as this. That's why I chose this. "
I took out another dress but Vidhi didn't like it much.
" Let it be, I'll give you another dress."
I argued but Vidhi didn't hear me and gave me one brand new dress. "
" But how can I take it?? "
" What is the issue?? " Vidhi asked with one of her eyebrows raised.
" Nothing much, but I think I am short for this dress. " I said as vidhi was taller than me.
" It's ok, you wear my footwear. It will add to your height."
" But it is absolutely new. "
" So?? What is wrong with that?? " She looked confused.
" I meant that you have not even worn it once. You must have brought it for some occasion. So how can I use it? "
" Shruti, you know how crazy I am about shopping, if I need 5 dresses, I buy 8. This is an extra dress, don't worry. Just go and wear it. No more discussion!!! We are getting late. "
" It is... a bit... too bold for me... I have never worn such a dress. "
" So it is time to do it now. No one is here from your family. So don't worry, wear it. It will look very good on you. " She said and pushed me to wear it.
I wore it and we both went out to join others for Sehrabandi.
Vikram bhaiya was looking like a Rajasthani prince. After all, they belonged to the royal family.
I saw Siddharth along with others, he looked much more handsome than he always looked. He was also wearing the traditional outfit.
Siddharth's POV
Vikram bhai's dad, male relatives and all his friends wore turbans, Sherwanis and Achkans too. Bhai and I were also dressed in the same way.
I came out of our room and went looking for her.
Now I was getting very restless, as I needed to talk to her. But she was not ready to listen to me.
I tried with everything in me to suppress my feelings but every time they came back with increased intensity.
Enough was enough now... Now, I wanted her in my life.
Just then I saw her coming with Vidhi.
Shruti was looking so pretty that I could not take my eyes off her. The moment I saw her, I was dumbstruck. She was looking so beautiful and hot.
She had never worn anything like that before. I could not imagine her like that.
Oh my God !! I was having breathing problems all of a sudden.
Her dress was a bit bold with almost a non-existent back in her blouse. I couldn't even breathe properly. One could literally say that she took my breath away.
Was she doing it deliberately ??
No !! Why would she do that she was not even interested in me... But then what happened to her all of a sudden??
She was looking..... God !! Help me, I don't even know if I should look at her or not.
Of course !! you should look, you idiot. She is yours... Would you want someone else to look at her?? My soul scolded me.
No !! I will not allow that. She is mine.
I wanted to hide her from everyone. I saw a guy looking at her with interest. I glared at him and thankfully he understood that he should stay away from her.
I had to be near her, in case I had to send another man away after breaking his jaw.
She was looking at me too and when she saw me looking at her she just glared at me.
" So.... were you just checking out me? Liked what you saw? " I said going near her.
" You must be crazy if you think so..." She said rolling her eyes.
" It's ok, angry bird !!! Accept it, you were checking me out. Why are you denying it, you can look at me as much as you want." I winked at her.
" How do you know that I was looking at you?? Does that mean, you were also checking me? " She said raising her eyebrows
" Of course, I was. I can look all day if you want. " I said.
" No thanks !! I am not interested. Get lost." She said and started walking away but I pulled her in my arms.
" Stay with me. You are looking extremely beautiful today, I can't let you roam around all alone. " I whispered to her.
My eyes were all over her body and I gulped visibly.
" Get lost !! You have no right to tell me what to do and what not to do. I will do what I like. Now go... "
But she pushed me and went away.
What the hell !!!
