Shruti's POV
We went to her place, it was so huge with policemen guarding it.
Her parents welcomed me with open arms. I felt very comfortable around them.
After some time, Siddharth also came and he greeted uncle and aunty. They were really happy to see him. Aunty had prepared his favourite food and he smiled like an over-excited kid and hugged her.
They had to reach their Kul Devi temple first thing in the morning, to offer the first card of marriage to the Goddess to seek blessings for them.
So they left for the temple at night after dinner. Uncle told Siddharth to take care of us. He nodded and told them to rest assured and have a safe journey.
Once they were gone, three of us went to their big garden and there was a beautiful setting with a big and comfortable garden chairs table and a large 3 seater garden swing with cushioned seats and backrest.
Maurvi and I sat on that swing while Siddharth occupied a big comfortable garden recliner.
Three of us were talking about their coming marriage preparation. And they told me some funny incidents as to how Bhaiya thought that Maurvi had a crush on someone else... And then when he was about to kill her sister's boyfriend as he was over-friendly and was asking her to get married soon.
It was all so funny that I was laughing like lunatics. Then he started telling me something uncle assumed about her and her face became absolutely red.
" Siddharth !!! Stop right there. I swear, I will kill you. I hate Gautam, how can he tell that to such a tease like you?? "
" You know she didn't even look at bhai that day. Her face was like a tomato as he calls her. "
" Siddharth !! Stop, please... Three of you are hopeless, I don't know how aunty deals with three of you. "
" You called dad as hopeless?? Let me call and tell him."
" I dare you to do that and If you do that, I will not help you with Shruti. "
" Hey what is going on??? " I asked as it seemed that Maurvi was going to faint because of embarrassment.
" Ok, bhai's tomato, let me tell her. Just her... Please. I will never talk about it again." He said to her and she nodded shyly.
Siddharth told me how uncle assumed things about her and the conversation was so funny that I burst out laughing. Both Siddharth's and I were still laughing. While she hid her face in her hands.
" Oh God, uncle is really something. But he is so cool, it is so good to see such a friendly relationship between parents and kids. You have an amazing family, all of them are really good. "
" I know... And I am the best. " He said and we both rolled our eyes.
" What ?? Maurvi, who is your most favourite of the Jindal men ?? " He asked.
" Uncle !! " She said without even thinking. I smiled at that.
" What do you think, Shruti?? "
" Undoubtedly, Uncle ! "
" The second one ?? " He asked looking at both of us.
" Gautam," Maurvi said with a smile.
" Bhaiya," I said.
" What?? At least you take my name yaar !!! I can understand that she would take his name but you too?? " He said looking at me with a pout.
" What ?? I said what I feel. "
" Ok. Fine... No one loves me. But I am my mom's favourite. " He said and we both laughed.
Just then bhaiya called on Maurvi's phone and she smiled shyly.
" Hello!! .... I am good. Laughing at Siddharth's antics with Shruti... They are staying at my place today..... Yes!! ..... What?? No !! I am not calling you here..... " She was talking and was turning red with every passing second.
Siddharth started grinning at her. She hit him on arm and went away excusing herself.
" She was blushing like anything. How can someone blush like that? " I asked.
" You don't know my brother. But one day very soon, I will make you blush like that too. "
" Forget it... "
" Wait and see darling.... " He smirked.
" We will see. So, you are planning to stay here too? "
" Yes, how could I leave such a golden chance?? " He said winking at me.
" Golden chance?? " My heart started beating faster.
Awww..... He thought it was a golden chance to stay with me.
I love him... He is so cute.
" I can't miss the breakfast made by her. " He grinned.
What?? Breakfast??
I hate him ... Idiot !
" Yeah, of course. Bye, goodnight will meet you at the breakfast time. " I said and got up from the swing to go inside. But he caught my hand and pulled me and I fell on top of him.
" What is the hurry, beautiful?? Spend some time with your boyfriend too. " He said smirking.
" No, my boyfriend is much more interested in food. "
" Awwww... I love to see you getting jealous. Of course, I wanted to spend some quality time with you my angry bird. "
" I was not jealous..." I said.
" Ok, then stop being angry and let's enjoy this beautiful and cool night. " He said and descended his lips on mine.
It was so sweet and soft that I almost felt like crying. A tear escaped my eyes and I hugged him.
He was shocked to see me like that.
" What happened?? "
" Nothing... I am sorry. I didn't trust you. But I could not ignore those pictures. "
" Shhh leave that now. Everything is well of it ends well. "
" I love you, Siddharth. "
" I love you to the moon and back. Thank God you said this. I was dying to hear you say that. " he said and hugged me burying his face into my neck.
I kept sitting on his lap tied in his warm embrace. I was feeling so good. Finally he loosened his arms looked at me with so much love.
" I am happy that all the misunderstandings are over. Every thing will be fine now. "
" My struggle hasn't finished yet. " I said.
" Don't worry, I am there to support you. "
" But my family ?? They are not going to accept us easily. "
" Leave that to me and my family. "
" But... "
" Come on angry bird. It is such a beautiful night. Don't waste it in thinking negative thoughts. Don't worry. " He said and kissed my forehead.
I smiled and nodded. He showed many light kisses on my face, I really liked the feeling, but I had to stop him. So I pushed him and sat down on that swing again but he also joined me there.
" Where has she gone?? "
" Oh, she must be pacifying Bhai as he is not here and we are. She teased him by saying that she can't invite him here. I am sure Bhai is upset with that. " He said.
" He is really good and funny. "
" Yeah, of course, everyone is good, just I have all the problems. Right?? "
" Right !! " I said with a smile.
" Ok, fine... go and talk to all of them."
" Ok, please give me their numbers. "
" Shut up !! Don't even think about it. "
" But you suggested me. "
" Why didn't you ignore my stupid suggestion?? You always ignore the good ones. " He said while glaring at me.
" I ignore that stupid suggestion. Now, I think we must sleep. "
" Hey, I would love that let's go to my room. " He said and I hit him on his chest and he threw his head back and laughed.
" Stay for some more time... I am enjoying every minute of this. I wish to spend every minute of all these 3 days with you. Please stay with me. "
He said and we both kept talking till late and then went to our rooms.
It was morning and I saw that Maurvi was not in the room so I went looking for her. And I found her in the garden. She had already slept when I came after spending time with Siddharth.
" Good morning, Shruti. " She said with a smile.
" Good morning !! "
" I was planning to make breakfast, what would you like to eat? " She asked me.
" Anything you want. I eat everything. " I said as I didn't want to bother her.
" Ok, then I will make what Siddharth likes. "
" Hmm, he is crazy about your cooking. What are you making? Will you teach me? "
" Sure !! Let's see... Ok, we will make something nice and easy. "
