"Daddy, we are visiting the St. Blaire University today, is it okay if I stay in Jasmin's house after that?"
"Okay, we will fetch you at 6."
"Okay, got it. Thank you, daddy!"
"You should be careful there, okay?"
"Yes, Daddy Alvin."
"And do not entertain boys."
I smiled at him and he squint his eyes.
"Don't tell me you already have a boyfriend?"
"No, I'm focused on my study!"
"Or do you still have a crush on Nicholas?"
"No!"
They both nod and I shake my head like crazy. 
"I don't like him, yes, not a bit."
"Why does it seems like your convincing yourself?"
"No, I know that we both hate each other."
"The word hate is a bit hard do you know that?"
"Of course."
He won't be annoyed if I didn't bother him, then maybe we are both on good terms?
Wait, I doubt that. He is so unpredictable, that is why I hate him.
"Anyways, hate or not I do not wish to bump into him today."
"That's impossible my dear."
"I know."
I sighed and continue eating when I was done I brush my teeth first and kiss Daddy Jeff and Daddy Alvin's cheek before I left our house. I take a cab to bring me to St. Blaire University. I talked to Jasmin pretty late last night and she told me that she will wait for me outside the university so we can go to the gym together.
I was excited the moment I step outside the cab and there I spotted Jasmin who was also looking for me.
"Jasmin!"
"Wah. Rosalyn! I missed you."
"Oh I miss you too!"
"You're just on time, let's head now to the gym since I reserve us a seat there."
"Okay."
But on our way to the gymnasium, Jasmin pointed out a building and said that it was Nicholas and Jasper's building.
"They were both on the basketball team and..."
She continue to talk about Nicholas but my attention was on another topic.
"You saw it too, right? I saw a handsome guy!"
"Shut up, he was already taken, didn't you see the girl? She does look like a model!"
"Yeah."
"Jasmin!"
"... and. Huh? Oh, Jenson right?"
"Yes, can you find your brother for me?"
"What did he do this time?"
"The coach was finding him, Nicholas, too."
"Maybe they were in their room."
"I already go there to find them there but I didn't see them. I also texted him but he was not replying at all."
"I'll go check their room again."
"Thank you, we will try to find them on the west wing."
"Okay... that idiot."
"Let's go now?"
"What I'm going to do without you, Rosalyn? My cousin and twin brother was such a pain right?"
"Yeah, so we should not leave each other side. Let's go look for them now."
"Uh, I'll text Alex not to leave our seats."
"Alex? Is it a girl?"
I asked her and her smile widened then she shake her head.
"No, he was a friend of mine. I'll introduce you to him later."
"A friend?"
"Yes."
Then she get her phone and texted her 'friend' she was giggling as they continue to talk. When we reached Nicholas and Jasper's room Jasmin received a call.
"Will you please look for them inside, I'll just take this call."
"Okay."
I walk towards their classroom and I notice that they were being noisy. I frowned when I heard them shriek, they must be having a good time.
"Gosh, I didn't know that you have a romantic bone!"
"Ah guys, why don't you all calm down?"
"Just what are you talking about?"
"Feigning ignorance aren't we? That was really suspicious!"
I look inside and there I saw Nicholas back, even though I can't see his face I knew that it was him. Should I call him now?
"I think it was a misunderstanding, I didn't attend last night's dinner party since we have a family dinner outside."
"Yeah, Nicholas does have a family dinner while I didn't attend since I'm feeling tired that night. Please don't assume that we are dating. Nicholas looks uncomfortable you see."
The girl beside him spoke in a soft voice. She was also tall and have a blond hair and her hair was tied neatly and had some loose curls.
She must be totally pretty.
"They already came up with an excuse. Okay, we will keep our mouths shut and pretend nothing happened."
"I don't know what to do with you guys."
"You two look together. I'm jealous."
"Yeah. Such a perfect match. We do approve of your relationship!"
"Really, guys? Stop it."
"Please stop it."
I shut my mouth when I finally saw her face. Haa.
"O my gosh, Jade's face beat red!"
When I finally catch up on what was happening I sighed and started to walk towards Jasmin. Their classmates were teasing him with Jade and now I know why he does have a crush on her. Jade was really pretty.
Even her classmates was agree on them being good together.
I bite my lip and sighed while I wait for Jasmin to end the call. When she was done she look at me and said sorry.
"So, is Nicholas inside?"
"Yeah a while ago, and before I even talk to him he already left."
"I see, my idiot brother was probably in the gymnasium so let's head there now."
"Okay."
Jasmin cling to me and we head straight to the Gymnasium, it was already full it was a good thing that she did ask someone to look for our seats. The moment we sat down someone announced that they will start in a minute.
The players started to warm up and I spotted some of my classmates on the other side. I wave my hand to them and they wave back.
"Your friends?"
"You can say that."
When he heard a buzzer the players went back to their bench.
"Haa, there you are."
"Oh, Allen."
He smiled at me and showed me the towel and drink to me.
"Can you hold this for me?"
Why me? Even though I don't want to accept I nod my head and his smile widened.
"Of course."
"Thanks."
"Good luck!"
"I'll do my best then."
"Shot, what was that?!"
Jasmin shrieked and slapped my arms.
"Ouch, that's Allen."
"I know him but I'm asking on what is the atmosphere on the two of you?"
"What? I don't know what you are talking about."
"You two were flirting aren't you?"
"No, we're just friends."
"Gosh, don't deceive me. I know that kind of smile! He liked you."
"You're just seeing things, Jas. That's just how he smiles to everyone, don't make stories."
"No, I'm not. You see it, he was with his friends a while ago but he go to you so that he could entrust his towel and drink. Still not getting the butterflies in your stomach?"
"Stop it, Jas. It's weird you know."
"Psh. Killjoy."
When the players started to line up they shake each other's hands. When it started the first to get the ball was the player of St. Blaire. They made a two-point shot and we all clap our hands.
"Did you know that Jade was a cheerleader?"
Jasmin suddenly said and stare at the cheerleading squad. She must be looking for her.
"I saw her a while ago."
I said still looking at the players at the court. When I look at the cheerleading squad again I saw Jade's beautiful face.
"Really?"
"Hmm. She was that blond girl."
"Wait let me check her face."
"Hmm?"
"She's pretty but your still the prettiest in my eyes!"
"Aw, thank you, Jasmin."
"But I didn't know that Nicholas was into blond girls."
So do I.
The crowd cheered once again when Allen made another three-point shot.
"He's good."
"Yeah, I didn't know that he was this good."
When Francine left that day the next day her friends, Alice, Ariel, and May didn't talk to me again. They were probably disappointed since Allen continue to look for me. I already told them that we are just friends but they won't listen to me so I just let them.
There is no point in trying to explain again and again since we are not that close.
I look at their side and shake my head. It's a pity that they won't listen to me.
When the 1st period ended the score of St. Blaire University is 28 while Flinton's score was 26. It was not a bad game and we can still catch up.
"You're doing great, Al."
"Thank you."
Then I handed his drink and towel to him. I heard his teammates call him but I think he didn't hear it since it was noisy in the gymnasium.
"Al your teammates were calling you."
He look back and nod at them, he smile once again at me and said thank you.
"Will you cheer on me too?"
"Are you serious?"
I asked him with wide eyes. Really, what's with him today?
"Yeah."
"I'll see."
"I will wait for it then."
He then smiled at me and wave his hands.
"See you in a bit."
"Ugh, Rosalyn, just go date him!"
"Jas!"
"What? He clearly has a crush on you, so date him!"
"Nooo, I told you we're friends. He is just a friend, Jas."
"Nah, you're just blind."
I shake my head and look at the players. When I noticed something. Why does he look pissed?
