"Congrats Al!"
"Thank you!"
"Sheez that was nerve-racking, you look cool on your last shoot. My hands were trembling while I was taking a video of you!"
He then froze for a minute before he smile and asked me.
"You did?"
"Yeah. I'll forward it to you so you can have your copy too. You were really cool a while ago."
"Thanks Rosalyn, I owe you one."
"Huh, what did I do?"
"Uh, that's for you to find out."
"Not fair, I don't remember the things I did since I was nervous the whole play and I think I didn't do anything for you guys. I just the whole play."
"Haha."
He was now laughing loudly but looking at him was kinda relaxing.
"If you owe me one, what about you treat me to lunch?"
"I was about to ask you that."
"Then deal let's meet at the mall later."
"Okay, I'll see you later then."
"Mm." 
I watch Allen go to his teammates when Jasmin bumped my shoulders.
"What was that? Tell me you liked him, don't you?"
"As a friend."
"Eh, so you still like my cousin?"
I looked at her with wide eyes and sighed in the end. Why am I overreacting?
"When did I have a crush on him, Jas?"
I even rolled my eyes. Don't react to much, self. 
"Since when we are still kids."
"You don't have a proof."
"Just continue to deny it Rosalyn and one day... it'll just pop. Your world while surely turned upside down."
Then she winks at me and I feel having goosebumps all over my body.
"That will never happen trust me."
"It was like a curse, so you need to be careful."
"Jasmin."
I am now getting scared by the things she was saying right now. When I look at Nicholas I bite my lip and frowned as I watch him talk to Jade.
"I don't have romantic feelings for him, not in the slightest. I'm sure that my heart was not betraying me."
"Hmm."
We didn't talk about Nicholas again and when I go to Jasmin's house we just watch a movie then I received a message from Allen. They just finished eating barbeque and he will go straight home to take a rest and we will meet at the mall at 1 pm.
"Jasmin about Alexander."
"Yes? What's with him?"
"He was just your friend?"
"Yeah, and he sees me as his younger sister."
"But you like him?"
"I dunno."
"You look happy when you were talking with him."
"I guess I like him."
"You change your mind that fast."
"I'm confused, but instead of thinking it, countless reflections... I choose to go with the flow. I can't confirm if I do have a feeling for him but I was happy when I'm with him. Hmm, did you get my point? I'm not good at explaining."
"A little bit. Jasmin what about this one, my friend..."
"Yes, what's the problem of your friend?"
"She told me that she was also confused. She hated him and there is no doubt about that and there her heart beating so fast whenever he sees him and she can't help but to get mad. She's also frustrated since she doesn't know if her heart was beating so fast because she's totally hating him to the bone or if she likes him. She's so bothered by this, what do you think?"
"So complicated."
"Yeah, it was exhausting just hearing those for my friend, Haha."
"If I am in her position I will do some weird experiment."
"Just like?"
"If I'll get jealous when he got a girlfriend. Just think of a scenario where he was dating this girl and he kissed her-"
"Jasmin, you can stop now. It's my friend's love life that we are talking about and hearing this kiss thingy makes me want to puke. It's gross."
I clench my teeth when I heard the word kiss that Is why I cut her.
"Hehe. Did you suddenly remember a bad memory from the past?"
I grabbed my hair and buried my face in the couch. It's embarrassing that I got his first kiss accidentally. It was such a bad timing while we are playing, I slipped and grabbed onto something not knowing it was Nicholas.
When our lips touch he cried so hard like when I blow his candle when it was his birthday, he just won't stop crying.
"Haa, it's embarrassing."
"Haha."
"Hey, you two."
"Oh, Jasper. Did the after-party just end?"
"Yeah, barbeque was the best. I'll sleep so don't be noisy."
"Thanks for informing us, Rosalyn let's sing a song so my brother will fall asleep so fast."
"Noo!"
"Yey!"
Jasmin laughed and Jasper put his hands on his ears and started to get upstairs. I was glad that their interaction ended after that, Jasmin didn't do what she suggested and we do continue watching the movie.
When we got bored we played board games and eat dessert. When it was already 12:30 I left Jasmin's house and head straight to the mall. I sent a message to Allen saying that I was on my way and he chat back saying he will wait for me at the entrance.
I easily spotted him since he stand out just by standing. He was wearing a black shirt, faded jeans, and sneakers. He looks like he was going on a date while I'm still in my school uniform.
"Hey, Al."
"Rosalyn."
"I'm sorry you are well dressed while I am still in our uniform."
"No, it's fine."
"I stayed at Jasmin's house before I head here."
"I see."
"So, where are we going to eat? I'm a little bit hungry."
"Whatever you like."
"Oh, I wanted to try ramen. Is that fine?"
I suggested and he nod.
"Sure."
"Then please wait for me at the Japanese resto while I will go to a clothing store. I promise that it will be fast."
"I'll join you!" 
He immediately said and I laugh. He then cleared his throat and I smile.
"I just think it's better if we go together."
"Are you sure you won't get bored?"
"Yes."
"Let's go then!"
I held his arm and drag him to a clothing store. I pick the most decent dress there and paid for it.
"Let's eat now."
"Ah, this is different from what I imagined."
I heard him murmur something so I look at him.
"You're saying something, Al?"
"Nothing."
I nod at him. I walk on his left side as we head straight to the Japanese resto while he was pointing out the other shops that will visit later.
"Let's try the arcade. It's been a while since I've played there"
"Yes, let's do that. Let's also check the bookstore later."
"Yeah. What about we watch a movie after that?"
"This looks like a date, Al. Haha."
Even though he is quite tall, I still see how his face reddened.
"Friendly date?"
"Gosh, of course. I'm not that pretty for you to date."
"You're pretty, Rosalyn."
He said without batting an eye.
"Well, you look serious so, thank you."
"I'm telling the truth."
I have a passable face and Nicholas made it clear that...
What the hell?
I suddenly saw Nicholas who was sitting in a café and when I look who was sitting in front of her I unconsciously frowned. I am the one who averts my gaze and looks like Allen didn't notice them.
"This is good!"
I said when I finished my ramen.
"Yeah, we should try it again."
"Right, I'll surely recommend this to Jasmin she will definitely like this."
"Jasmin... the girl sitting beside you?"
"Yeah. Why do you like her?"
"No, I just remember that you were looking for her at the resort right?"
"Yah, I knew her since we were still kids. She's like a sister of mine."
"That's nice. So... your friends with Nicholas?"
"Oh, we do know each other."
"Haha, I see. Anyways, have you ever wondered what already happened in the orphanage?"
"I did go back there once but I was told that the kids already transferred into another orphanage since Sister Alysa died."
"I still remember that you like to say to everyone that your mother will come back for you. Did you already find her?" 
I stare at him and then I shake my head.
"Sorry for asking a such sensitive question."
"No, it's fine. My mother probably didn't remember me. She may be resent me too since I do look like my father. I don't resemble to her that is why she did grow tired of me."
"Do you hate her then?"
"I don't know. Back then I can still remember her face clearly, maybe I feel nothing now since I can't remember her face."
I laughed in the end. Allen didn't say anything.
"For now, all I want is my Daddy Alvin and Daddy Jeff. I'm doing fine now."
"We're on the same boat."
After that, he said that we should already go to the arcade. I didn't notice the time since we are busy playing and when I got tired we sat on a bench there.
"Do you like to eat fries?"
He asked as we stare at the stalls there.
"Sure."
I waited for him and when he got back he handed the fries to me.
"How much Is this?"
"I thought it was on me today?"
"Well, it was the ramen."
"Still, just eat it."
"Thanks, Al."
"Yeah, Sure."
"A while ago you were taking pictures of me you should send them to me okay?"
"Instagram?"
"Yeah."
"Okay."
"Thank you! Just search rosesrrosalyn."
"I'll follow you okay?"
"It's up to you, you will see nothing there."
We just silently sat on the bench there eating fries while we both watch the people.
"I did enjoy today. Thank you."
"Me too."
"Let's go to the bookstore now."
"What book are you going to buy?"
"Anything, that looks interesting."
"Allen."
We both look at the man who blocks our way. He was looking at us with a straight face and when he stared at me. I smile at him.
"Dad."
Eh? I see, so he is the one to adopt him. It was sure awkward that we did bump into him.
"Hello, Sir."
This is awkward. Just why? 
"Hello. Are you two done on your date?"
"Ah, Sir we are not on a date."
I scratch my head and gulped when he was still looking at me with a straight face. Such a scary person.
"We are about to go home. Right, Al?"
"Mm."
"Then let's go now, I will drive you home."
He said that to me and I just smile at him.
"Thank you, Sir."
It was pretty awkward while we are inside the car. When I look at the time on my phone it was already 5:45.
Jasmin
Rosalyn, dinner will be at our house.
Your daddies are here too. (＊￣︶￣＊)
                                              Okay. I'll head there now.

"Where should I drop you off?"
"Ah, Greenville, Sir."
"Okay."
"Thank you, Sir."
I just told him to drop me in the guards' house and I'll just call my dad to pick me up there but he insist to drop me in front of Jasmin's house.
"Are you a Monteverde?"
"No, sir. My daddies are friends with them."
"Oh, so you know Kataluna Monteverde?"
"Yes, Sir. Are you perhaps a friend of Aunt Kat?"
"Yeah."
I didn't ask him again after that and said my thanks when I was already in front of Jasmin's house.
"Thank you, Al. Have a safe trip, Sir, Al."
"Yeah."
I watch their car leave before I go inside but the first person that I see was none other than Nicholas himself. Ugh.
"Head inside your daddies were waiting for you."
"I know. Hmp."
I walk passed to him and head inside. He was still wearing the same clothes a while ago, did he also just get back after their date?
Ugh, why do I even care?
