Chapter 5 Five

Arlene POV
"We live beyond the galaxy."
A sentence that clarified to the three of us the question lurking in our minds.
Solenn left in hiding from behind me. "Y-You aliens!? Are you all here to envade our world!?" she turned to me, simultaneously holding my shoulder.
"OMG, really Arlene, we are not alone in our universe!" shee said and even shook my shoulders, causing me to feel neck pain from shaking my head.
I pushed and waved my arm. "Stop that! I'm dizzy."
She sniffed and folded his arms. I just turned to Gray and folded my arms.
"I can only think of one theory. The power of the crystal we got, maybe when it was destroyed. If what I thought was true ..." He stared at his two hands. "Healing is up to me. So I need to find my fellow guardians. Other powers are very dangerous and can't be controlled lightly, unlike this."
The three of us fell silent.
What it says doesn't sink into my brain. I still can't believe what happened before. Creepy, yet amazing, and fascinating.
We felt to each other who would speak first. The information it gave us was too much to be speechless.
"Kru, kru, kru… spooky." said Solenn. "What now?"
"So…" Larmine raised an eyebrow. "where do you think… your colleagues are?"
"I-I don't know— wait!" he stood up suddenly and turned to the window to peek outside. We were shocked because of that. "Is it possible, is it possible for me to feel them?" he turned to us.
"Duh, we're aware of you. Well, in the shows we see, when they are connected to each other, special bond-like, it's possible…? Yeah, maybe it is…" Larmine replied, before flipping off her hair.
"I-I'm feeling something right now"
Solenn gave him a bored-look. "Maybe you just have diarrhea?"
"Solenn? Seriously!?" Larmine.
"Ok, I'll stop. It's just as shocking," he pointed out. "What's your name?"
"G-Gray"
She crossed both arms in front of his chest. "Oooh, handsome name. Whenever I have problems, I'll Gray on you—"
"Solenn!" I said. I turned to Gray. "Where do you feel?"
"Outside, approaching here. Slowly, like… walking…?" I invited them all out.
What was happening was really surprising, but a part of my body was pulled closer to him. I want to help him with whatever he says. I do not understand. Maybe that's why you told my story before. It's your fault grandpa. What are you telling me about grandma. Because of this happening I seem to believe that. The mess.
When we got out Gray immediately walked around. He headed down the road while we were purely next to each other. He seems to be following where he feels his companion is coming from.
Gray immediately stopped walking. We saw a carefree man. "K-Kairo!! Kairo here!" Gray immediately turned to it.
The man smiled and ran over to us. First step… everything seems to be in slow motion. In his second step he suddenly disappeared. Our eyes just widened when he appeared in front of Gray and was out of balance, causing him to fall on Gray's body in a hug. They looked at each other.
At once their mouths opened. "Teleportation"
"I'm just getting used to it. I-I just need to control my brain." Kairo said. "B-but, how did this happen?"
Gray introduced us to his companion and explained the situation. Larmine greeted enthusiastically because even though Kairo has tan skin, he is very handsome.
Here's the hot look. Smoking hot raw if it also comes from the smoking ball. Tsk.
"Renz, we were together before. But because of teleportation I got away."
They were obviously in trouble. The three of us were just watching them. They are the only ones who understand each other so we didn't even bother to answer.
Gray turned to us. "Will you three come with us?"
"No/Yes." Solenn and I said at the same time so we looked at each other.
"Why are we coming? Hello, Arlene, when have you been interested? We still have a job, what are we going to leave!? Hey, my bake shop! Besides, they need you at HQ," he said and poked me in the forehead .
I snapped at her. "I just feel it, why not?" I said. "They can't solve the case because they don't know, the reason, right? You think they'll believe? So let's go! It's time!" my persuasion. I'm really curious now.
"What about my company? I'll just leave?" Larmine replied with a raised eyebrow.
Solenn nodded and faced him. "Ha, FYI, you're just sleeping and doing make -up. You probably forgot that you have three managers and two secretaries who always haggard you because you just give orders. You're also chilling, aren't you? They seem to be the ones suffering. Your company. Well, they are not at a loss because their salaries are high. " aniya Solenn.
I looked at the two. "All right, we'll come. No choice because the fire stars have already decided on me."
"A-All right, l-let's hold hands." Kairo said. He held out his hand.
Solenn's eyes suddenly twinkled.
He was about to take it when suddenly Larmine stepped in and pushed Solenn backwards.
"Why? What's that for?" Larmine.
"Let's teleport. If you don't mind."
"Really? I'm fine." she quickly took Kairo's hand.
Solenn, on the other hand, quickly took Gray's hand even though he didn't offer it. I, on the other hand, could do nothing but hold the same hand of my two dear friends.
In less than a second we moved somewhere. I had an incomprehensible sensation all over my body.
I felt my whole body lighten and I felt a little dizzy, like I was floating. The two felt the same way, except for Kairo and Gray. That only lasted for a while. We were exposed to an abandoned warehouse.
"He's still inside. I can feel it." Gray said.
"Do you feel it?" Kairo turned to Gray "Looks like you're the only one capable of that"
The two entered first, the three of us followed. Upon entering we saw a man behind us. I was dazzled to see tiny currents of electricity enveloping his entire body.
"Renz!" Gray was happy to call it that.
The two were about to approach him, but they suddenly stopped.
Renz slowly faced us. We stared at him in shock. The color of his eyes is yellow. He frowned when he saw us all, as if he didn't know who was in front of him. There was a confused reaction the trace on his face.
"R-Renz, it's us. Kairo, Gray…"
He does not spill. But, the currents enveloping his entire body gradually subsided. Perhaps he felt that those in front of him were not opponents.
But...
I have a bad feeling. I held Solenn and Larmine's hand, then we slowly walked backwards.
"That's right, Renz…"Gray stepped slowly.
Gray stepped once. At that one step Renz's forehead furrowed even more. The second step returened the amount of electricity that envelops his body.
"Renz, it's me. Gray…" he calmly promised.
The third step increased and intensified the electricity throughout his body. He stepped back once and had accumulated electricity in both of his hands.
Gray raised both his hands as if surrendering. "Renz, calm down. Calm, down please…" he walked slowly again.
At Gray's fourth step, he was obviously angry at it.
"Gray!" Kairo shouted.
He released the electricity accumulated in his hand. That spread all around. The electricity is like ropes connected from his body to the poles, walls and other parts of the warehouse. It seemed to claiming this place as his territory, and we were one of the audacious ones who dared to disturb him here.
It's nice to look at his power. Like a playing plasma and movable position. Beautiful, but scary.
"Renz—"
In a flash he hit us, thankfully we all escaped. I was expecting that too so I got ready.
It was bad because he looked angry — wrong, he was really angry. He shouted loudly causing the huge force of his power to spread all around. I almost got hit. Good thing we reached the pole and hid.
"Waaa!"
"Shut up! Solenn!" I no longer ignored Solenn.
I just looked at my leg that was almost hit, I felt so nervous.
