Chapter 7 LAST MAN STANDING

Zero's POV
As the two approached me slowly, both carrying wooden sticks, I walked towards the metal pipe, picking it up cautiously, and faced them.
I saw the guy on the left charge at me, intending to strike me with his weapon.
I quickly blocked the wooden stick with the metal pipe, using all my strength, though my hands trembled from the impact.
Suddenly, the guy on the right, whom I had fought earlier, intervened. I recognized him and saw that he was about to strike my head with the stick.
I barely had any strength left, so I couldn't avoid the blow that landed on the back of my head.
Pain shot through me, and my vision blurred as I staggered backward, retreating slowly from them.
I touched the back of my head, feeling something liquid flowing down.
When I looked at my palm, I saw blood—evidence of the harsh blow I had just taken.
Anger flared up within me as I glared at the guy who had hit me. He seemed delighted with what he'd done and was now laughing.
"HAHAHA, does it hurt?" he asked, his laughter echoing.
"Prepare yourself. I'll make sure you regret this," I muttered under my breath, so quietly that only I could hear it.
I sprinted towards the two of them, gripping the metal pipe tightly, and swung it with all my might at the guy who had been laughing.
He tried to block it, but the pipe hit his face before he could raise his wooden stick.
It struck his right cheek, knocking out two of his teeth. He screamed in pain, falling to his knees, clutching his face, blood dripping from his mouth.
"Arghh, I'm going to kill you!" he yelled at me, tears streaming from his eyes, his mouth full of blood.
I stepped closer and swiftly struck his head with the metal pipe, knocking him out, leaving his head bleeding just like mine.
I turned to the left, seeing the other guy now frozen in fear.
I walked towards him, ready to strike with the pipe. But suddenly, something hit me hard, causing me to fall and roll on the ground.
"I'll handle this. Stay out of it," the heavyset guy said, now serious, as he turned his gaze to me.
I slowly got up, despite my body screaming to give up. But I couldn’t lose in this situation.
I had to keep fighting. There were people depending on me, and I needed to prove that I deserved to be the number one in this entire school.
I charged at the heavyset guy, leaping into the air to strike him with the metal pipe. But I was shocked when he effortlessly blocked it with his bare hand.
He quickly grabbed the collar of my shirt, lifting me off the ground before slamming me hard onto my back. Blood spewed from my mouth as I felt the impact of hitting the ground, forcing me to drop the metal pipe, which rolled away.
He tried to crush me under his weight, but I forced my body to roll to the left, narrowly avoiding what could have been my end.
I wanted to stand up, but parts of my body were numb and exhausted from the battles I had fought throughout the day.
The heavyset guy approached me and mounted me, delivering powerful punches with both fists.
I blocked his punches by raising my hands to shield my face.
Desperate, I searched for a way to escape this situation.
I looked to my right but found nothing I could use to hit him with. I then turned to my left, seeing the metal pipe lying nearby, just within my reach.
I looked for an opening in his attacks, seeing a glimmer of hope in this fight.
I waited for his right shoulder to rise, then quickly dodged to the left, reaching for the pipe. But he read my intentions, grabbing my left arm to prevent me from getting it.
"You really think I'd let you grab that pipe, kid?" the heavyset guy said with a grin.
"That's where you're wrong," I replied, elbowing him hard on the right side of his face, causing him to squint and release my left arm.
I immediately grabbed the pipe, held it tightly, and struck the left side of his head.
I hit him three times while lying on the ground, pouring all the strength I had left into each blow until his head bled on the left side, and he collapsed to the right.
I stood up slowly, using the pipe as a cane, feeling the exhaustion coursing through me.
I then turned my gaze to the last guy standing, his eyes wide with fear as he stared in my direction. I glared at him with intensity.
Terrified, he dropped the wooden stick he was holding and ran away.
I exhaled deeply, relieved it was over, realizing I was the only one left standing, the only one with strength remaining on this floor.
I looked around and saw the others lying unconscious on the ground, some with blood staining parts of their bodies.
"Zero!"
I heard someone call my name and saw Miyuki running toward me.
But just as she reached me, my vision blurred, and I lost consciousness.
