Imogen's Deed.

SCARLETT'S POV
I hummed about my room, as I dressed up for work. I wasn't styling my hair today, I'm letting it fall down my back in its shiny glossy glory.
As Ashton already briefed me on the reason Chairman Kyle was at the company some days ago, I already understand the situation.
Let me say this now; Imogen is so childish and immature. What does she think I am? Some idiot? Well, I'll just ignore this since its the first time but the next time she tries it, she'll definitely be hearing from me.
About my ongoing task with Lexi, we were able to come up with an outstanding outcome from our research even though it was only yesterday. Given the speed we are moving at, I'd be done with the task in few more days.
After staring at my reflection in my full length mirror, I smiled in satisfaction as I picked up my clutch bag and walked out.
NARRATIVE
Imogen was lying on her bed chatting with Yori as she cackled evilly in anticipation of seeing the result_which she believed would be positive, of her actions yesterday.
*Have you seen her today? Did it work?* Yori texted.
*Girl, I'm still in bed. It's warm in here unlike outside but I'll go check now because I can't wait to see the dramatic transformation.* She sent back.
*I know right. I just hope she doesn't suspect you.*
*How would she? I wasn't caught in the act and I've long sent that maid away for some days, in case she dares to spill.*
*Woah! You are such a bitch! :)*
Imogen grinned and hurriedly tossed her duvet off her body as she climbed off the bed. She quickly wore her fluffy slippers and walked out of her room and down the stairs into the living room, still in her nightie but wearing an overall on it.
She sat down on one of the couch and crossed her legs on it, while she pretended to be busy with her phone, meanwhile she was waiting for Scarlett to come downstairs. Imogen couldn't wait to laugh over her appearance.
"Imogen, what are you doing dressed like that and sitting there?" Imogen raised her eyes only to find Ashton walking out of the kitchen, completely dressed for work with a bowl of oats in his hand."Aren't you going to prepare for work?" He asked again.
*What is he doing? Why not ask the maids to prepare that and serve it for him on the dinning table?* She frowned slightly but soon returned her gaze to her phone. He wasn't her problem at the moment.
"I'm not in a hurry to go to work like you. Come on Ashton, we own JP's Enterprise we aren't the employees but the employers. Try to breath down a little on this work thingy, I don't wanna hear you fall ill or faint one day at the company." She answered him with her eyes still on her phone.
"I see," Ashton shook his head and proceed to sit on another couch before settling with his bowl of oatmeal.
He knew better than to proceed with the conversation. Imogen may never change from being such a lazy ass.
He hadn't taken more than two scoops of oat in his mouth when from the corner of his eyes, he saw his elder sister walking down the golden spiral staircase, looking even more beautiful than ever. Ashton didn't know when he choked on his food and Imogen who was about to give him a bored look, saw his eyes were somewhere else and she immediately trace his gaze to the staircase.
How's this possible?! She mentally screamed.
Scarlett stood midway down the stairs with her hand on the banister, looking so gorgeous like a fairy from a supernatural realm.
She was dressed in a loose nude colored v-neck long-sleeved blouse which was tucked in a black palazzo pants, nude Prada clutch bag, nude ankle-strap platform stiletto and her neck was adorned with an exquisite silver festoon while her wrist adorn her silver-grey bracelet. Her long black hair flowing over her back in a lovely cascade gave her an enchanting appearance. Her long lashes even more obvious due to the mascara she had on.
Scarlett narrowed her eyes at Imogen as she smiled lopsidedly.
"Why, Imogen? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Imogen's eyes widen in shock when she heard Scarlett's words.
FLASHBACK
NARRATIVE
"Imogen, I don't think we should do this? Not only does it look immature, it's also uhmm...horrible. Her skin and hair might never get better again. Let's go back." Yori tried to dissuade Imogen once more.
"Pfftt! Why suddenly so weakhearted Yori? This is unlike you. Besides, you know better that I'm not changing my mind. I already planned to do this so let's stick to it. Afterall, we're here already." Imogen said as she pushed the door open to Scarlett's bathroom. Immediately she got in, she rolled her eyes around in search of her toiletries.
She smirked as she saw them in the section they were neatly arranged. She was about to reach out her hand to Scarlett's shampoo bottle when Yori's voice stopped her.
"Wait, Imogen." Imogen retrieved her hand back and turned to Yori in puzzlement. "We can't just pick it up like that. What if she's a very meticulous person who often knows how she leaves her stuff?" Imogen nodded in agreement. Yori made sense in what she said.
"So what do we do?" She asked.
"We make sure we leave no traces behind. Good thing the substance is a colorless and odourless chemical. Before we touch her stuff, we have to make sure we master how she left it in our head, that way we'll be able to return them in the exact position she'd left them."
"Jeez! How couldn't I think of that? You are such a smart ass, Yori." Imogen praised with a pleased smile over her face. Yori chuckled with a shrug.
"Come on, let's get back to work. We have to hurry." She said and Imogen nodded agreement.
Moments later, they were done with their childish but harmful plan. If Scarlett returns at night and have a shower_as she's likely to do, her entire skin would develop rashes hours later and her hair color would change to a mixture of purple, blue, red and yellow. How horrific she'd look.
Only Imogen and Yori knew where she got such substance. Even Cora was clueless and had no idea what they were up to at the moment.
With excitement and mischief bustling in her heart, Imogen carefully returned the containers back to their place as neatly as she had found them.
"Let's go." She said to her friend, as she hurriedly walked out the exquisite restroom into Scarlett's grand room. She looked around the room with a smirk still on before she catwalked towards the door, forgetting she had left behind something really important.
