Homepage/Her Marriage To The Vampire King/
The Man Of Her Heart
I
After a week, Quacey, arrived at the Kingdom of Glodeos, still with his disguise look. No one knew, except Dreckos, Marshall, and the spouses, King Timodore and Queen Asalea knew about the twin’s return and the conditions on how they are coming back to the Kingdom. Quacey was introduced in the Glodeous Kingdom as a nephew of Dreckos.
Another week have passed and Neoma, still with her disguise look and who will be was introduced as a daughter of a long lost relative of Queen Asalea, came back to the Kingdom of Knostica. At the airport, she waited for the driver of the Knostican Kingdom to fetch her. Sensing that the driver might not see her and more so, not recognize her as her looks have been different and so her name, Neoma, decided to walk toward the departure area and looked for the Knostican driver.
While walking, pulling her traveling bag, she was suddenly surprised when her traveling bag has been bumped by another traveling bag.
“Opps!” she said surprised as she looked back to know who was the owner of the black traveling bag that bumped her purple traveling bag.
When her eyes caught the face of the owner of the black traveling bag, Neoma has been stiffening. She could not understand why, but her heart suddenly beats so fast and her eyes were glued to the man’s gorgeous face.
“Apology, Miss, I did not mean to bump your bag. I was in a hurry since my driver is already waiting for me outside,” the gorgeous man who seemed to be in his mid-twenties suddenly said that made Neoma return to her right senses.
Neoma nodded shyly. “It’s alright. Excuse me, I am in a hurry too,” she retorted before she turned her back from the man, who followed her back with his narrowing eyes.
“So, you came back, Neoma, at last. You seemed to have grown much prettier although your aura seemed to be so different now,” the gorgeous man thought as he continued to look at Neoma’s back while walking, following her from a short distance.
Neoma on one hand, who has very strong senses could feel that someone has been eyeing her from a distance. With a fast-beating heart, Neoma turned her back again to check and she held her breath when her eyes once again landed on the same gorgeous face of a man that she saw a while ago. Immediately, she turned her head back and walked faster until she saw the Knostican driver with a placard bearing her disguised name.
The man saw it when Neoma approached the Knostican driver holding a placard but his eyebrows suddenly rose when he noticed the name written on the placard. His forehead furrowed and automatically his wise mind thought that something is going on at the Knostica and Glodeous Kingdoms.
The man smiled meaningfully as he once again threw a doubtful look at Neoma’s back.

Neoma pretended to have not known where the Kingdom of Knostica is. She further pretended not to know where to go when they arrived at the Konostican Palace.
“Sir, could you please bring me to my aunt Asalea?” she said while smiling at the driver, who readily nodded at her.
“Sure, Miss. Please follow me,” the driver said as he walked ahead, toward the room of her parents at the Knostican Palace.
“Here, Miss. This is King Timodore’s and Queen Asalea’s room. I am sure she is still inside,” the driver said again as he smiled and then he stepped back when the door opened after he knocked thrice.
“Nea!” Queen Asalea who was about to call Neoma in her true name, good thing, Neoma gave her a big eye look, almost screamed in excitement.
“Oh, Aunt Asalea, you are still so beautiful,” Neoma retorted as she winked at her Queen Mother, who smiled widely at her.
The driver excused himself and when he was away already, Neoma entered her Queen Mother’s room, closed the door, and hugged her mother tightly.
“I missed you, Queen Momma,” she whispered and Queen Asalea, hugged her daughter tightly and caressed her head.
“I missed you too, Neoma,” she whispered lovingly to her daughter while continuously caressing her hair. “Hmm, I love your new look. No one could be able to detect that you are actually my daughter Neoma,” Queen Asalea added, teasing Neoma.
Neoma laughed and flipped her hair to tease her Queen Mother back. Suddenly, she remembered something.
“Queen Momma, can I ask you a question, please?”
With a raised eyebrow, Queen Asalea nodded. “Of course. What is it, my dear?”
“Queen Momma, what did you feel the first time that you saw King Father? Did your heart beat fast and you feel suddenly shy?”
Queen Asalea’s eyebrow lifted more as she heard her daughter’s question.
“Why, did you feel that to a man already, Neoma?” Queen Asalea asked with curiosity in her eyes.
Neoma looked at her Queen Mother and nodded, smiling wide. “I did, Queen Mother, in the airport, a while ago.”
And, Queen Asalea’s mouth fell open. She could not fathom what to feel.
“Mother, hey!” Neoma, flickered her fingers, which sound suddenly awakened Queen Asalea.
“Err, what did you just say, Neoma?”
“I said my heart beats so fast when I saw that gorgeous man in the airport, Queen Mother. I am already fifteen years old, so I guess, I just met the man of my heart. Would it be correct for me to assume like that, Queen Mother?” Neoma asked again, which surprised Queen Asalea once more.Download Novelah App
