Chapter 22 I Will Always Fall Back To You

Camila*_*
Who said that I couldn't feel myself again after getting to meet the mystery man and putting up with his stress? Just like a cop put a criminal behind bars, I had succeeded in not just putting Logan Creed behind bars, but to sleep.
May his gentle soul rest in peace. My only regret was that I couldn't ask him to greet Mrs Lopez for me. Oh, I forgot, he would be in hell, not in heaven.
I went into the hotel after getting out of my car and meeting the ground with my feet. The receiving hall was filled with clamoring guests with either glasses of wine in their hands' grasp or putting their speech mechanism into its main use.
I looked back at the exterior ground through the big entrance glass door and was just noticing a bunch of cars parked, and oh, more was coming.
"Oh busy day, is it?" I asked a worker hastily coming toward me, but he hurried off before he could answer me with a speech, instead, the steady nodding of his head before he was engulfed by the impatient guests for the recipes he was carrying on the tray confirmed my obvious suspicion.
I trudged ahead and retrieved a glass of wine from a tray stand and went into the reception hall where liveliness meets the beauty of socialism.
"Wow" I exclaimed. Must be some pretty important person. I wondered what the celebration was about, while my ears received the beautiful classic mix from the DJ slightly overshadowing the noises from everyone and everything else.
The interior designers must have given their very best in making the place look better than it was, but unfortunately, it would go back to what it was once the event was over.
I sipped my wine from the glass cup and glanced around the hall to capture any interesting person; there were enough drinks, what else could complete it without sex, hey, a little fun wouldn't hurt.
But first, I needed to know exactly what it was and who was responsible. I went to the registry hall and went straight to the big event register log book.
"Jesus fucking Christ, how the fuck is this log book so big and confusing and …" I gritted my teeth flipping through the endless number of pages with overcrowded records. "How the fuck am I supposed to get to know my next potential client" I muttered to myself.
"Is the Mayor's grand daughter" a voice issued behind me followed by quick footsteps and a tight and sweet caring hug. I smiled, and turned around, hugging her back.
"Where have you been?" She asked once she got disengaged with me.
I sighed and raked up my eyebrows. "Been a little busy. Hey is just a day, don't—"
"Is just a day? …" She exclaimed with a chuckle. "Don't tell me you didn't miss me?" She said, giving me that fluffy disappointed look.
"Aish knock it off, Mandy, I —"
"No, in fact, I won't, Camila…" she leaned close to me, while her beautiful scent throwed up into my noise, her hair smelled of rose, and I wished I could just take her into my arms and cuddle her till the next 24 hours.
"Until you let me get a taste of you, today…" she slipped out her tongue, tipped on her toes for a raise-up and licked around my lips. Her lips moved to my neck and her increasing breathing was observed.
"You're always sweet, why?" She whispered into my ears and brought herself closer to me as her hand traveled gently into my panties.
"Umm, this isn't a good time, or a good place…" I tried to pull her out but her resistance was enforced and aided by her finger which she used to stimulate my labia, making me let out a quick and distracting moan.
"Mandy, please" I managed to trudge her off and made well my trouser. How the fuck did Mandy grow? What the fuck was happening?
Everything was changing for me, and the big change was the advent of Logan Creed, the only man that had made me put up with fear and made me feel like I was weak and needed him to fill a void in my soul, oh thanks to the universe, he was off my track.
But Mandy, I should be the one dominating, but I wasn't into teenage girls, but she was hot, damn it.
"So what now?" She expressed disappointment.
"Mandy, is not like I don't want you or avoiding you, this isn't, I'm just not in the mood…" I sighed, and held her two hands "and you should understand"
She shrugged. "Well, not like I can force you to"
I chuckled. "Actually, you're good at that" if not that I was strong enough to pull off sexual excitement. She parted her lips to talk but I had to divert the conversation to something else.
"Umm…" I picked up the log book. "Can you arrange for another system of record keeping? I'm surprised that this is how we do it here, like when the world has gone digital we are still doing this?" Mandy looked at me with disbelief and I wondered why. "What?" I asked with a wrinkle in between my eyebrows.
"You're actually the one that made it so" she replied.
"Wh-what me? How? When?" I inquisitively stammered.
"Seriously? Do you expect me to start telling you history now?"
Wow, Mandy has grown wings. How? "Ah, well, hire a data specialist or record keeper? What do you call it? Whatever" I walked out grabbing my wine, wasn't finished yet, ha!. She stood there and watched me get immersed into the reception hall.
I went to fill up my glass cup and remembered who was hosting the event— the Mayor's granddaughter. She sure would be an interesting girl, and I was sure going to find her.
I took up the mantle to find the Mayor's granddaughter, even though I had no idea what she looked like, but obviously if you saw the celebrant or host in an event you would know, right? No? Well, I'm Camila Lipa.
"Excuse me" I smiled like i was a pure soul to a group of men and women, and within them was the Mayor's granddaughter.
      "Hey" they greeted.
"You are the Mayor's granddaughter, right?"
The beautiful young woman smiled cheerfully. "Apparently, haha" we laughed.
"Nice to meet you…" we shook hands, and the others left us alone. A good time and chance to get to know her better.
She was obviously younger than me, but just with a few years, if that counted. I had lived a seemingly long life and surprisingly still young, when I should be older.
"I'm the owner of the hotel, just came back from a mini journey, and I learnt that you are the one, congratulations" I smiled at her, she smiled back and we went to sit down at the bar.
"Oh nice to meet you too. Thank you. It must have been a long journey" she said, and I furrowed my eyebrows, depicting a slight sign of confusion; no I didn't really get it, I told her a mini journey. "I mean, building a hotel in Vegas? Must have have been a hell of a journey"
"Oh" I took a sip from my glass cup with a smile. "Sure it was" no it wasn't, all I had to do was end a life; that was it.
"And I find it interesting interacting with successful and strong women, every successful woman is strong, you know" she said.
"Of course, that also depends on your definition of success. Women who run a home, even single moms are damn successful, you know?" I raised my cup to her and emptied the remaining content into my mouth.
She was having a hard time agreeing; yes, I know. She didn't really buy it, spoilt rich people, and I didn't give a fuck about any of it, just talking to her so that I could have her in my bed in the next few minutes. But jeopardy…
"Oh I'm so sorry!" Mandy exclaimed, as the wine she was carrying on her tray poured a bit on the Mayor's granddaughter dress. She wanted to cry; must had been a costly dress. I looked at Mandy and shooked my head— she did it on purpose.
"Is okay, i will clean it, excuse me" she got up, obviously not too okay and disappeared from my eye's reach.
I clicked my tongue. "Not cool, Mandy, not cool" I snarled and got up to leave, she walked closely behind me.
"You just said you weren't in the mood?" She fumed.
"And so what?" I scoffed, walking faster.
"I know you, I know you were just about to get laid"
I turned back with force that we nearly collided with each other. "And what has that got to do with you? Huh? This is my life not yours"
"I'm not sharing you with anyone" she added.
"Well, I'm not yours." I concluded and whisked away, walking into my room and locked the door behind me. Immediately I left the door's corner, I felt a strange feeling slurp over me. I turned around as a swooshing sound creeped into my ear and gasped at the sight of…
      "Lo-logan" I stammered. "Is that a gun?"
