Logan parked his car and when his feet met with the earth, he walked hastily and disappointedly to Camila who leaned against her car waiting for him. "What was that about?!" Logan scolded her. Camila laced out from the car's leaning support. "You want to know? He almost killed me, I —" "We needed information! Now we got nothing because you killed him." "Logan would you fucking stop blaming me?!" "No! You are a killer! All you do is kill! You have got an empty soul, you have shedded a lot of blood, a lot of lives gone like fowls… and you don't want to change" he said the last part in a soft tone, as if he was sorry. "Fine…" Camila chuckled. "I am the devil's daughter anyway, or probably, the devil herself…" she brought the car key and dropped it into the palm of his hand. Logan looked at the key on his palm and back at her. "what? I don't understand" "We are done, Logan. Good luck in your mission, I am out of it" she moved away from him. "We had a deal! Are you just going to toss it down the dirt?" "Deal? Is none of my business, as you can see. Jacques deserved what he got. They weren't after me, it was all Jacques. I don't have any problem with the organization. And I'm sure as hell not going to trust any human being again…" She said looking into Logan's eyes with a regretful look and Logan wished he could just tell her that he could be trusted, but he had just obviously broke her heart. In defense "are you going to forsake knowing me? I promise to tell you everything abo—" "Know you?..." She said with a chuckle. "Logan, you just condemned me. I have no interest in you anymore. I just hope that you are as righteous as you claim to be…" she walked away, leaving Logan speechless. But after a few steps away, she turned around with words in her mouth. "You know, now that I don't have any problem with the organization, I think I might actually defend them, so you better watch your back, Logan. This is a devil on the lose, and you don't want to mess with this…" she gave him a light threatening smile and walked away, ignoring Logan's last attempt at convincing her. "Camila?" But she had turned her back to him already. Logan watched her disappear from the horizon. He entered into his house and after a few minutes, he heard a car engine rive outside. He rushed outside to see Camila hopped into the car and her face extended out from and through the window. "Thanks for the car!" And drove away. Logan looked at the key in his hand; the spare was gone. He smiled. **** *Camila*_* The next morning, I saw myself sitting at the bar with different beers and liquors occupying my glass cup's space. The week had been stressful and out of order; wasn't my type of week, but since my life was fast changing, I had to accept it for what it was, whatever came my way and as I reasoned, I took my drinks with me on that ride. I chuckled at the thought that Logan really condemned me, and that was when the drinks started tasting bitter, really bitter. I thought we were getting off good, but it seemed like I was too bad for the righteous mysterious man. I pinched myself for feeling bad because of him. But why did it seem like I had lost something, something like him? He wasn't the only one that had despised or condemned me but why did it pain? Why should it even pain?! I hit my hand on the table! "Damn!" I growled ,emptying a tumbler filled with liquor into my stomach. But anyways, I was free. It was none of my business anymore. I owed him nothing. "Such a beautiful lady…" someone said sitting down beside me. I was going to hit him with a bottle when I turned around to face him, but I was caught halfway by the deepness of his eyes, and the fearless veil on his face, and ultimately his dominating energy; it was bigger and stronger than Logan's. "Can I join you?" He added, and I just nodded my head and faced my drink, muttering "Strange" to myself. I thought about him over again, and it clicked to my mind! He must be… "I am a friend of Logan…" he said with a smile. I looked at him with a more attentive eyes. "Buck…" I said with a gulp. "I see Logan has been filling you in" he said. I chuckled. "No, and its whatever" I didn't need to fear him, why should I? Logan made him seem like a very bad person and it wasn't my problem; I was a bad person too and he better put me in his updated list. "If you are here to blab about joining hands with him, I would do you good by telling you beforehand that you would be wasting your time" "Hmm. That is the least of my problems. Actually, I don't care…" "So what are you doing here?" I asked, extra cautious. "You must have a lot of questions about Logan…" "No, not anymore" and I had already lost interest in him too or whatever he came to do, but… "I don't think. And Jacques and the secret organization you work for?" He aroused my curiosity again. I pulled my chair closer to him. "What do you know?" He smiled. "I know everything" "And why should I trust you? Logan hoped I never get to meet you. You are bad aren't you?" "Isn't that all he does? Condemn others while he himself is a monster…" "He is?" He was right. Logan made it look like he was the most righteous person. And now, I knew I had to know more, but he stood up before questions started running helter skelter from me. "Wait, we are not done" I called him back. "You think it ends with Jacques using you? Have you ever asked yourself why almost every operation roams around you? Ever asked who the big player is?..." "What are you talking about?" He came back and dropped a paper on the table. "Maybe, just maybe you will find most of your answers here…" it was a map of sort with a precise address. "What is this?" I asked looking through the paper. "They have a quarter, maybe one of the heads" "And why should this be my problem?" "Because someone you know, more of a family member, is the big player… that's the game, Camila. You are being used and played by your own since the very first day, not just Jacques…" "Who is it" I asked, taking my brain in a remembrance ride, while my body got heated up for some violence, for some exploitation. He had triggered that, and I wasn't going to stop. "Go find out yourself" he answered and walked out of the Bar. I thought about it over and over again, and I couldn't target any family member who might be behind it all. Besides, they were all very much dead and I rather had a vague knowledge of any of them. It felt like they had been lost since forever, but when? Without wasting time, I chucked up ready to go. My phone slipped out of my pocket and as I picked it up, the thought of Logan glanced through my mind. I knew I had to wait till the evening. After resisting, I texted Logan, maybe I needed him after all. “Buck's helpful…" I snapped the picture and sent it to him.
