The morning sun shined into the room, where Cassey laid down, half of his body on the bed, half on the floor. A tattered room, which Needed repackaging. But he didn't care about it that much, after all, he doesn't stay in most of the time. Suddenly, a woman screamed outside on a high pitch, just some metres away from the house in the market street. An old woman in her 80's worried up and down, asking for help from each person that passes by. All she did was cry, but she had a weak voice, and still yelled, and still weak "Help!.. help! Help! Someone help!" Shouted the old woman who was only getting attention but no help. And Most passer-by's only stared at her like she was mad. Some waved their head in pity, but it wasn't enough. She, still, seemed mysterious. The screaming waked Cassey, with a jolt up from the bed,he looked around him in curiosity, then looked through the window, but hadn't enough clear view. Mama came through the door, terrified herself, she had heard the screams, and she came to make sure her son is safe inside "Cassey, don't go anywhere.." "Mmm? Who says I am" "You're about to get out" But Cassey was concerned "Mama! There is an old woman out there screaming for help!" "Meaning? Do you know why she is screaming then? ... I .. I don't understand boy, but you can't help everyone..you.." Cassey interrupted again "I can ma, I can... always." Said Cassey determined, he reached out to the door, and went out. Mama just lumped to the bed, feeling helpless "I hope helping everyone doesn't take your life." Mama added, thoughtfully. **** The old Woman screamed more and more. Cassey approached her, while everyone else watched and went their separate ways. They thought she was mad, and not one of them, because everyone minded their own business, but still they watched the whole thing because it was both dramatic and suspenseful, and somehow attention-magnet. "Umm, w-what's the problem ma?" The old woman turned around, and held him "My son…" Touching his Face "My son…" now, it was getting weird and Cassey got confused. "Yea…" replied Cassey, and the old woman started shedding tears "She..she , she is dying!!" Stammered the old woman, sending Cassey in a frenzy, Cassey swallowed his gut, ready to know who was dying. "Ma,you have to be clear, who is dying and why is she dying??" The old woman didn't answer, she only opened her her eyes widely terrified. People slowly got interested in this, and they started coming nearer, multiplying to know what was really going on. "It is all my fault." "And….?" The old woman stopped crying and the atmosphere was so calm that all that was heard was the bird's whistles "I left her alone…to get help. I thought all will be fine! Will she ever forgive me?! For trusting her to harm itself? Thinking it will be good? Believing? As they say, trust no one...no one." Now,the crowd grew more and more concerned, each neighbor tapping the other, and thus, they grew in their numbers. "Hmmm... Look i got something to do .. back at…" The old woman interrupted! "But she chose you!!" To Cassey this was ridiculous "For what?? Doesn't make sense." Cassey turned to walk away as Throbs of horses waves in, from an unseen direction, everyone was startled, as this sounded like war horses, as if thousands of soldiers were storming in, eyes wide open. Eyes and ears trying to find and hear where it was coming from. Even if they chose to run before whatever it was showed up, they didn't know which direction to run to… it was coming from every possible corner. Back at the Harold's Home, Allen came to see Cassey but he wasn't around. He kept knocking on the door but no response "Hey Cassey!" Shouted Allen, still maintaining his patience "Ummm Anyone home??!" Mama opened the door, and smiled to the young fellow in front of her "Oh my boy Allen" Allen smiled back….just for the sake of it "How's the morning treating you dear?" "I wish I'm near the warmest fireplace in krinxville." Mama smiled at this "Oh come on, you young fellows have a stronger body, the cold Shouldn't affect you as much as it does the older population of krinxville." "Well." Said Allen with a shrug "Okay, come on, come on in and have a hot sip, from old man lam, his herbs makes the perfect tea…" "...Or the perfect beer." Mama was dumbfounded. "Umm well, umm I hope to someday, someday….just keep it for me,for the someday" Allen smiled, Mama smiled back again "Well, where is Cassey , I need to see him" "Ohhh right,he just went down across the road now." And as Allen turned to walk away, she called him back "And Allen…" "Yea?" "Tell that hard-headed lad to come back here now or I'll whip his butt, he needs to clean the stables of the krinxville riders, you know the game is on." "Ma? When did he start working at the stables?" Allen got concerned Mama looked at him and just shut the door. he walked away, heading down across the road. The sound kept getting louder and louder and … Suddenly, a man shouted from the crowd!
