“You don’t have to know what is happening. Sit, and eat.”
Roberto dug into his meal and waited for her to sit.
“Eat, Martina. You need to use your medications.” Vincenzo whispered into Martina’s ear.
“What is happening tomorrow?” Martina asked in a whisper, and Vincenzo shook his head.
“Nothing is happening tomorrow. You should eat now.”
Martina looked at Roberto again before she sat on the other end of the dining table.
She pulled the plate to herself and opened it. The aroma of the food filled her nostrils, and her eyes closed automatically. Her mouth watered as she dug into her meal.
Vincenzo carried his plate and began to walk to the living room.
“Vincenzo… Sit here.”
Vincenzo halted in shock. He turned to look at Roberto and a smile crept up his face.
“Thank you, Sir.”
He sat next to Martina and started eating too.

The Next Morning
Roberto walked out of the house in his black Giorgio Armani two-piece suit, and his leather Giorgio Armani shoes.
He also wore a Giorgio Armani wristwatch to complement his dress. He walked to the car with his hands buried in his pockets.
Vincenzo walked behind him, and before Roberto entered the car, he turned to look at him.
“Is she awake?”
“Not yet, sir.”
“Make sure you provided everything she would need when she is awake. I need her in a better state at night.”
Vincenzo swallowed hard and bounced his head. He thought Roberto had forgotten about that, but he was mistaken.
“I have arranged things with the men that would be staying back. They would give her everything she needs.”
Roberto bent to enter the car after hearing Vincenzo’s response when Vincenzo stopped him which another statement.
“I can get you another girl if she isn’t still strong enough at night.”
Roberto glared at him, and Vincenzo moved back in fear.
“It was just a suggestion, Mr. Roberto.”
“If I needed another girl, I would have told you, Vincenzo. You don’t have to act stupid every time.”
“I am so sorry, boss! I would never do that again!” Vincenzo said in a loud voice and bowed his head very low.
Roberto’s men that would be going out with him all lined up in front of him.
“We all need to expect anything at Enzo Carrao’s house. He is one of the meanest, and his men are very trained! I am going there to talk to him, but things could go out of hand, so get ready and load all your guns!”
“Yes, sir!”
They all started entering the cars and Vincenzo entered the car that was behind Roberto’s.
Martina woke up and when she couldn't find Roberto and Vincenzo in the house, she walked outside the house.
The men wanted to stop her, but she told them she wasn’t going anywhere.
Two of them followed her as she walked out of the house.
She stood in front of the door and saw they had all entered the car.
“Hey! Where are you all going?! I need new clothes, and I need food!”
They all heard Martina’s loud but thin voice, and they all wound down the glass except for Roberto.
He looked at her through his tinted glass and scoffed.
“Mr. Roberto, there are no female clothes in the house. We are yet to stock the closets,” Vincenzo spoke to Roberto through his microphone.
“Then get something for her to wear, and order breakfast. Do I have to tell you that?”
“Yes sir.”
Roberto removed the microphone from his mouth and threw it on the chair. He took another look at Martina, who stood still.
“Martina, I have ordered breakfast for you, okay? I will get you some clothes when we get back.”
Vincenzo stretched out his head from the car as he spoke.
“No! I haven’t had a good bath for days now. I can’t wait for you to come back! What if you don’t return today? Or forever?”
Martina looked at the car, Roberto was in. She knew he was in that car because it was the only car in which the glass wasn't wound down.
“Martina, please don’t start this morning. We are going on a mission, and we need to leave now.” Vincenzo uttered tiredly.
“If you are going on a mission, I am coming with you. I don’t want to stay at home with these men. I am homesick already.”
She walked down the front steps and walked to Roberto’s car. She got to the car and knocked on his glass.
“Martina!” Vincenzo called fearfully.
“Wind down, Mr. Roberto.”
She said sarcastically, and he heaved a sigh staring at her. Bruno looked at him through the interior mirror. He wanted to know what Roberto was going to do.
“Oh no.” Vincenzo watched Martina in terror. Roberto cherished his cars and wears more than any human’s life.
And now, Martina was knocking on his glass aggressively.
“She is going to get herself killed.” Vincenzo’s driver uttered.
“Wind down.”
Bruno’s eyes widened at Roberto’s order but he did exactly what he was told.
The glass went down, and he stared into her eyes. He thought she was going to be intimidated by his look, but she remained confident.
“I am going on this mission with you. I am not staying at home. I am not your housewife.”
“You want to be my housewife?”
“Never! I would never get married to an asshole like you!”
She stormed to the other side of the car and opened the door. She sat next to Roberto before he could object.
When his men saw this, they alighted. They ran to the car and wanted to carry her out of it, but Roberto stopped them.
“I can handle it.”
They retreated reluctantly, and Martina stuck out her tongue to them.
“They are so full of themselves.” She cursed under her breath.
“You wouldn’t say such to my men. You are a mere slave!”
Roberto provoked voice approached her, and she shut her eyes and gulped.
“Move.”
Roberto ordered, and the drivers ignited the engine.
