I was about to back away from them to give them space when the king suddenly spoke. "And what is this young man doing here?" The king asked suspiciously.
Princess Akana dried her tears and answered her father. "I know you don't remember him father. but he is the baby your visitor was carrying eight years ago."
The king got a bit confused. But as he realized and remember everything his face turned white from fear and in seconds he's on his knees
"I'm sorry for not recognizing you. Please forgive me."
"Uhmm please dont do that. You don't have to kneel. I'm not a god or anyone special." I said.
"But you are." He insisted.
"Even so, please stand up."
He stood up right away. I'm just glad he followed my request. It was hell awkward. Not only because he's a king but he's like decades older than me. But then I could be older than him. Who knows my real age.
"Guys you dont have to hide your presence. My parents are fully aware of the existence of your kind."
As Akana said that, the ghost, the devil, the angel, and the key holder show themselves up.
The queen who was obviously shocked as to what she saw suddenly stood up and started asking questions.
"Who are you? What are you doing here? Are you here to take my daughters?" She's genuinely terrified.
"Don't be afraid we are not here to hurt you." the devil assured her.
"Don't be afraid we are not here to hurt you." the devil assured her.
"Akana, who are they?" the queen asked still very suspicious of their motive.
"I also dont have much of an idea. But they are the reason why Ara is awake right now. We owe it all to them." she explained.
The queen upon knowing the truth bowed down to them. "Thank you so much for saving my daughter."
"It's nothing really. Your daughter sacrificed so much." Kai said to her.
The queen then turn to her husband. "Hurry up call the royal physician. The princess is awake. He needs to check up on her." She commanded.
The king followed right away. He called upon the maids and give them instruction to contact the doctor.
We dont have to wait that long. After just 10 minutes the doctor arrived. And right away attended to princess Ara who was still weak.
After the check up The doctor seemed satisfied with her condition. He was about to put back his belonging inside his bag when princess Akana stopped him.
"You still have another patient. You also need to check him up." She was referring to me.
"I'm okay you don't have to." I said a little embarrassed
I don't even remember the last time I went to the doctor. I dont have the time nor the extra money.
But the doctor already approached me and ask me to sit down. He checked my temperature and blood pressure. He also checked my breathing. He then looks at my wounds. He seemed a bit surprise and even a little scared.
"W-ell aside from your superficial wounds that's healing really fast you are in peak health." He declared while looking at me still puzzled.
"Be sure that no one will know about this." The king ordered.
"Yes your highness. But I suggest we do further testing with Princess Ara to make sure she's totally fine. What happened to her is nothing short of a miracle. But we still need to be sure that all her vitals are okay to prevent complications later."
"Ofcourse." the king agrees
"Let's go outside then and discuss things in my office. So that we will know our next step."
After the physician and the king left the room. The four show themselves again. They look a bit agitated. Something is bothering them.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"We need to leave right away." The ghost informed us. "We barely have an hour before the men hired by the council find us here."
"Men?"
"There are humans that have special abilities just like Ara and Akana here. They are extremely rare but they do exist. And the council trains and hires them to do their bidding in exchange for riches of course." the angel explained.
"Those men sound dangerous. What do you recommend us to do?" The queen asked
"You also need to leave the palace temporarily. Dont worry they wont be able to trace you or even get close to princess ara. Before i got evicted from Princess Akanas body i was able to give her a seal of protection. So she's safe. No ghost or any creatures will be able to enter her body. Not even me actually unless i have her permission." the ghost explained.
"Thank you for doing that."
"Well i kinda like to show off anyways." the ghost smiled.
