It's been a week since the disappearance of miss Lucy and Julie, most people say that she was trying to hide from her crimes since it has been known to the public, but how true could that be. The investigative teams haven't given up searching, besides she still has cases to account, especially when Alexandra was on their neck. She returned to the mansion that day after returning from the hospital where Jason was kept. She kept pondering on the question that rang in her; how could the four survive yet two got miss or died since that was the case. Some haters even went as far as posting that miss Lucy was paying for sins in hell along with her child. But these haters were undercover because they knew the consequences they would pay for if being caught by miss Lucy's agency or the law itself.
“Oh God it's been lonely in this house for a week now” she lamented walking through all the corridors of the house and then went to sit in the garden, that was when Peter came in with two family members.
“Oh look! She's dead, what's going to happen to her properties?” Perry wailed, drawing closer to Peter, he was the elder brother of Peter and one couldn't tell the difference between them since they are perverts.
“Good morning, gentlemen, and lady…” She greeted, directing them to have a seat in the garden. She stared at Perry, annoyed at the statement he made earlier, which gave her a clue of why they were here. It seems property ownership of the dead was everywhere in a country.
“Well, it's been a week since the death of my cousin…”
“Actually, since she went missing”
“Don't you think she would be dead by now since her corpse was burnt in the car accident?” Perry said, as Linda brought out her hankie to dry her fake tears.
“Oh, that adorable kid died along” she added and Alexandra heaved at them. Peter was about to say a word when Alexandra took them unexpectedly.
“Don't you think it's too early to bring up property?…show some human sympathy… she's your blood for goodness’s sake and would return soon”. Linda tapped her hair which was made into a bob, she didn't know the reply to give to them.
“We were just concerned that all her hard work would go in vain, and besides, who are you to intervene in family matters?” Perry roared at her.
“I'm already family to her leaving all I have behind and staying…so if you don't mind, you're trespassing” she retorts standing up.
“Miss Lucy disregards you, yet you still fight on her behalf” Linda mocked, bringing out a mirror to see if her make-up is still intact.
“We would see to it that you would be thrown out of this house when it becomes mine soon” Peter said making jest of her
“I will wait until then…stop causing menace in this place, or I will have you thrown out” she cautioned with authority and the three laughed at her.
“The old woman doesn't know what she's laying her hands in” Peter teased, standing up.
“Hope you come out alive there because the papers would be processed soon…we just came to inform you to start packing” Linda warned standing up too.
“Goodbye!” They retort at her and took their leave and while they were pacing away, Alexandra could still hear their voices aloud saying;
“I want the fashion home” Peter said
“I want her companies” Linda added
“And I would manage the mansion!” Perry grinned, opening the gate for Linda.
“Despicable fellows! How could they even think about that…miss Lucy, please come back soon… it's been a while now, and I can't stop this mad people of yours… don't you have any siblings?” She stated feeling tired and troubled. Miss Lucy always kept her life private, and it was hard to detect anything concerning her. Questions like who was the father of Julie? How did she become so famous? Even though she claims to be from a wealthy home. Does she have parents or siblings? Was she in a relationship? Why does she seem like an angel to fans but cruel to her workers? Although, most people still doubt that angelic part of her with this case on ground. Most times it was best not to think of these questions because definitely, no one was going to reply. Alexandra stared at the flowers which bloomed that morning, she heard her phone ring while turning her eyes away from the flowers.
“Hello?”
“Yes ma'am, I think we found something over the shores of the cliff” the voice responded as she could hear noise from the caller's background.
“What was that?”
“Some kind of village or something” it echoed.
“Hang on there… I would come over to meet up with you!” She beckoned and switched off the phone while she ran out to meet the caller. After some minutes while she had left, Peter, Perry, and Linda burst out. They had been in hiding, hoping that Alexandra would step out in due time.
“This our chance…now that miss Lucy is facing chaos it can either be now or never” Perry whispered.
“But what about the workers?” Linda panicked.
“From my research, they all gave up on their jobs even the gate guard only this witch that decided to stay behind” Peter explained, and they chuckled mischievously. Peter came closer to the gates, he had memorized the password which enabled them to get inside.
“There are CCTV cameras everywhere, how do we avoid that?” Linda wailed again, and the men glared at her.
“When we get inside! It will be deleted! No more questions!” Perry yelled and she nodded.
“We have to be quick though” she cautioned.
“We know!” Peter cried, running into the house.
“Seems like every door has a password these days that she haven't been around, what a clever woman".
